  1. Wow, he just blew right by Sherman and made Sherman look bad, nice to see that. I forgot to mention he also has experience as a kick returner.
  2. Feel bad for Camp, poor guy goes all out, does good nearly every time he touches the ball but gets hurt often. Wishing him the best. Bummer on SSS, hope he is able to bounce back. As for the HIPAA laws. If I had known there was such a law against reporting specifics of injuries, I would have not asked for more info on Perriman. Now I know. Thanks for info, just wished I knew about this law weeks ago.
  3. Amen, I use my hands as a method of prayers, my knees would give out if I had to do that during Ravens games.
  4. Pharmaceuticals probably had to triple heart medication orders during the 2000 season with Trent Dilfer so it is nothing new. With nearly as many interceptions as touchdowns (12-11), Ravens fans nearly end up in hospitals en masse in several games in 2000. The 2000 defense kept our hearts and veins from popping.
  5. How do you know this is not good? He has not played a game yet for the Ravens and already you are saying it is not good. His average yards per catch is 16 yards which is pretty good since 2012 under QBs no where near as good as Joe. Joe will be the best QB in his career compare to other QBs since college. I think this is a good deal. How about just wait and see how this pans out first. Who do you think Ozzie should have traded for without giving up too much?
  6. Well, life in the NFL is not all roses as Ravens fans knows all too well. I would not despair just yet. The trade for Givens is a decent trade. Consider this, Givens had varying 40 yds dash times, between 4.23 - 4.41, that's pretty fast, enough speed to blow off the top. Can he blow off the top? The answer is yes, at one time in the NFL, Givens caught a pass at least 50 yards long 5 games in a row. Givens has average 16 yards a catch since 2012 so far, above SSS's 13.2 since last year. Keep in mind that Flacco has 2nd highest passing yards so far in the NFL and the Rams QBs are no where near Flacco's production, something that could help Givens break out again like he did in 2012-2014. Givens could be that hidden gem we been looking for in recent weeks. He was suspended for breaking team rules but will not hold that against him as it was in his rookie season. Aiken is getting better. Joe has an arm that Givens never had as a QB throwing to him. This could be a good thing for everybody. I'll just wait and see what happens when Givens is on the field in a Ravens uniform, we might be surprise, I hope so. Welcome to Baltimore Chris and best of luck.
  7. Picked a perfect day for a team photo - Note: I would have added 70 smiling emoticons but am only allowed to post a certain amount of emoticons.
  8. I like Davis too. Looks like a good addition. I think you're right with J.Smith, something may be up and hopefully that something eventually passes as the weeks goes on. A lot of positives to look forward to.
  9. Unavoidable? Yes and no, that type of play is based on QB experience instead of nearly impossible reaction time because of speed of the game. Am sure it is more ingrained in Joe's mind to watch out after the fact. As for other people's comments, if someone bad mouths you, take the high road and do your thing, it eventually passes and we move onto the next story is all.
  10. Was great watching those holes open up and Forsett taking off like the wind. Hope this is the start of Forsett piling up yards again. Good to see both offensive line and Forsett is back to usual like last year. Good job guys.
  11. I understand both of your points of views. I just watched the replay over and over. My honest opinion is that the defender left M.Brown and broke for SSS before Joe threw the ball. Whether Joe should have seen that or not before he threw the ball is up for debate. I think what happened was Joe's peripheral vision was narrowed to cornerback leaving SSS on a blitz and he did not use a wider peripheral vision to detect that another defender left M.Brown alone while gunning for SSS. On that type of play, it is very difficult for a QB to detect in real time during NFL game speed. Most human minds have great peripheral vision on two things at once, beyond that, it gets more difficult. When standing there or watching TV without worry of being hit violently, our peripheral vision is very wide, when worried about being hit in immediate area, the peripheral vision narrows on most important parts which is why even the best QBs gets intercepted. If you're comfortable driving a car and relaxed, your peripheral vision may include seeing a cute deer on side of road in the woods. If your driving defensive in less than ideal conditions, your peripheral vision will likely not see the deer on side of road in the woods, hence, Joe did not see the "deer". If this was practice without worry of being hit, Joe would likely have seen it coming because his peripheral vision would ignore the linemen and the blitz. I hope I helped explain properly on why that interception happened.
  12. I understand what SSS is talking about. Mitchell purposely tried to hurt Smith by slamming him on his back instead of hitting/pushing him out of bounds so close to boundary line. It is after all, a legal football tackle but Mitchell had a choice of hitting him out of bounds or slam him on his back, he choose the latter. Ravens defenders probably would have done the same thing Mitchell did, considering the heated rivalry between Ravens and Steelers. Ravens/Steelers games are never clean football, it is a dirty/hard hitting rivalry and that never will change. Brush it off and get a payback TD or put Mitchell on his back with a nice block when Steelers comes to Baltimore next to last game of season.
  13. I love how the entire defense just bolted to the ball like hungry lions descending on a meal. That was awesome to watch. Mosley and D.Smith was flying all over the place, love it. The defensive line did great in closing the pocket on Vick most times. Finally, loved how we positioned the corners and safeties properly, nothing fancy, this time they held up and did a good job. I saw an all out effort. Well done boys, great job.
  14. Tomlin's last words into his headset was "He made it" and then took off headset. That was beautiful.
  15. I don't care if anyone thinks it was an ugly win. Ravens/Steelers games are hardly ever pretty. I will proudly take the win because the defense never gave up and earned it the hard way with two late stops in a row which were huge. I saw a lot of good tonight despite some problems. Forsett was awesome and proved once again when holes are open, he is gone. Aiken is slowly showing signs of getting open and catching the ball, he played his heart out tonight. Camp was good too, he is tough to cover. Boyle and Williams played hard nose football, proud of'em putting up a good fight. Will Hill did great. The whole defense pitched in which is nice to see. A lot of good, hoping Monroe will be back when we play the Browns next. Hope SSS and Camp are ok with a long rest coming up. Keep working on Waller. Good game boys. Love it y'all didn't give up. Proud of y'all. Rest up and aim for #2 next Sunday.
  16. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  17. No surgery is needed, just a peek. Thats good news. Take all the time he needs to be fully healed, that is more important than hurrying him up for the sake of playing. Looking forward to seeing him play when he is fully ready.
  18. Tucker would have kicked that another 10 yards, easily. When I saw it was 52 yards. I was actually sure he would make it. Ugly win but hey, it's a hard fought win. Wasn't pretty, hats off to the defense for getting 2 stops in a row.
  19. We won we won we won we won. Yaaaaay!
  20. We in field goal range now?
  21. OMG!!! We get another chance? Lord help me,.
  22. This would not been happening if there were no missed tackles.
