  1. Thanks for sharing, how do we get those stats weekly? Do we have to be a paying member?
  2. Love it when B.Williams bulls his way into the back field and messes up the offense's plays. Notice how Bengals had 4 man rushing and covered the short/middle passing lanes and protect the top very well, making it difficult for Joe to decide where to throw, that is where coaches have to readjust and find open seams to throw, no matter how small. I hope to see the back 4 of the Ravens defense keeping it simple more often and let the linebackers do the fancy blitzes. It keeps opposing QBs from changing plays at line of scrimmage when they see safeties out of place trying to be fancy.
  3. You're welcome. We got nowhere to go but up, might as well lighten up a little after 3 weeks. A couple of Panthers fans who lives near me in NC tells me of the days when Panthers were really bad, they got tired of getting stressed out and started raising a beer/drinking shots every time the other team scores. It became a running joke for awhile till they got better. I remember when the Ravens had losing records the first 4 seasons and we were just Gomer Pyle happy to be a part of the NFL again. Once we got a taste of the Super Bowl trophy in 5th season, that changed, we wanted more. Sometimes losing track of what being a part of the NFL is all about. If we were as demanding of people in our life as we are toward the Ravens, no one would want to be around us. Nothing wrong with wanting to win every game and get upset if we lose, thing is, don't take losing too personal where it eats up your soul. Take a day to get upset and then moved on and smile a little after a day. Life is too precious to ruin our soul/heart and mind over losing sports games. Remember the days of Saints fans, losing year after year that they stopped getting stressed out and wore bags over their face at home games for laughs? They found a way to lighten up after losing for so long. Don't get me wrong, I still occasionally flip out during games but I let it go after a day and move on while still supporting the team. It's not good for our heart to be angry/upset for prolonged periods. I love being around people who knows when to let it go and let humor take over.
  4. Asking Ravens fans to remain calm reminds me of Kevin Bacon in Animal House movie "Remain calm, all is well". Picture Ravens fans running through the streets, panicking while trying to tell them to calm down. Here is the link to those who may not know what I am talking about as this was filmed in 1978 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDAmPIq29ro
  5. Yes, they do but both of them have fiery tempers when warranted. Both are great coaches. Funny how John Harbaugh tricked Jim Schwartz 2 years after the handshake debacle with Jim Harbaugh by faking confusion to prevent Lions from calling a timeout to run down the clock more before Tucker nailed a 61 yard game winner over the Lions.
  6. I am just going to be patient and when Perriman comes back, then I'll see what he can do at the NFL level, till then, patience. It is not Perriman's fault his knee is not 100% yet. I am sure no one wants to play more than Perriman right now. If the Ravens don't have viable backup receivers who can help the team out when Perriman is injured, that is on the coaches and front office. I do hope to see him soon in Oct, all the complaining is wasted time, it is after all, an injury in training camp and training camp only, has nothing to do with his past because I think he played all his college games with no problems, nothing we can do but wait.
  7. I'll have to remember that motto "When you're going through hell, keep going" whenever I feel down in life. I like that motto. I'll have to get a t-shirt printed with that motto. Come hell or high water, I will be there as a fan no matter what. You can do it guys, go give'em hell boys!!!
  8. Not a bad idea, I forgot about him. I would support that. On 2nd thought 20 mins later. Probably would not happen because Jim Schwartz and Jim Harbaugh nearly got into a fight after a game handshake a while back.
  9. That's why I have high respect for Marvin Lewis and anyone in the NFL who respects an opponent after a win.
  10. Good one, cracks me up. lol
  11. I agree 100%. You're right.
  12. WR Mohamed Sanu on touchdown to Green - “We had it. He [Dalton] changed protection. We had our routes locked. They played man across the board, and when you do that, you’re susceptible for it not to be in your favor. They played man the whole fourth quarter. They were trying to throw exotic blitzes on us to slow us down.” Sanu is basically saying the same thing many Ravens fans were saying "Where is the double or over top protection on Green?" "Why are safeties too close to the line and not back further in proper positions?" Exotic blitzes can work on linebackers while safeties work with CBs on Green and medium to long passes on other receivers. It is crazy not to respect that Dalton can do serious damage if safeties are not in proper positions. That is on Pees for not working up blitz packages without the need to drag the safeties closer to the line. QBs can easily see what is going on when safeties gets closer to the line most times but can only guess on what linebackers and defensive front will do. Plus when a team has a duo like Dalton/Green, it is nuts to play with fire trying to get fancy by bringing safeties closer the line, the QB only needs a few seconds to call an audible when he sees safeties out of position. QBs salivates when they see that. It is on Pees for not positioning the safeties out of fear of damages Dalton/Green can do.
  13. I don't play fantasy football but the good news is SSS ranked #3 (#2 among WR) in fantasy points in week 3. Gilmore was #1 among TE in week 2. Flacco was #10 and #6 in weeks 2 and 3 respectively. SSS was ranked #1 in Senior Moments on ESPN on his yards after catch touchdown. Hey, gotta find some positives, right?
  14. I agree, the positioning of Ravens safeties at times had me wondering what was going on. Also seeing the positions of our CBs at times had me cringing knowing what was going to happen. On winning touchdown pass against Ravens, we had too many coverage guys on weak side with Green and another receiver on other side. I was shocked to see that everyone saw Dalton making changes while staring at Green when he saw one on one with other side loaded with too much coverage on weak side and no one figured it out. Pees should have saw that and screamed for a timeout or linebackers should have saw that and motioned to add more help at the top. There was no one on top and I was shocked to see that. That is on Pees.
  15. I am not totally ready to give in that the playoff is lost just yet, I don't care if the percentage is .001%. Until we are mathematically eliminated, we keep fighting. Even if out of playoffs, keep fighting to win games. So far we have a very nice ride, albeit, a fun/nail biting/nerve wracking see saw ride into playoffs/SB win for a long time and many NFL fans would trade to be in our shoes for last 8 seasons in a heartbeat despite an 0-3 start this year. We lost 3 straight games in 2008 (Weeks 4-6) and made it to AFC Championship game. We lost 3 straight games again in 2009 (Weeks 4-6) and made it to division round playoffs. No losing streak in 2010, 2011. We lost 3 straight (Lost 4 of last 5 regular season games) in 2012 and became SB Champs. We lost 3 straight (Weeks 6,7 and 9. 8 was bye week) and lost final two games in 2013 (No playoffs). Last year was 2 straight and we all know what happened in playoffs. Point being is, we made playoffs 3 of 4 times after 3 games losing streaks in same season. Granted, it is better to have that in middle of season instead of start but nevertheless not impossible to overcome. Each time Ravens had losing streaks the past 8 years, so called fair weathered fans quickly consider the season doomed. Real Pros/fans don't give up, no matter what. I have been a fan of sports for over 50 years and have seen my share of come from behinds in sports. People call it miracles, there is nothing miracle about it, just professionals refusing to give up and clawed that extra inch, pushed themselves more, willed themselves to never give up, encouraging teammates to fight on. If America had given up losing a few battles, there would be no America. If teams falling far behind and then win it all would not win it all if they gave up when things are bad. Never is a time to give up in sports, even with a losing record. I have tremendous respect on teams with a history of losing seasons that never gave up. There is a long list of losing sport teams who never gave up and played hard every time. There is a long list of fans who endure no Championship ever and still wear team colors and encourage them on. The O's have not been Champions since 1983 and people still wear O's colors and cheer them on. That's real love, if you don't have real love for your team when things are bad, then you don't deserve to wear the team color when things are good. Name calling of players is nothing but a low form of not being intelligent enough to articulate in sensible manners. There are ways to get upset without resorting to name calling, ways to voice our displeasure while still loving the team. There is no vacancy for fans who gives up on the team or does not give encouraging words when your team is knocked down. Nobody likes to see their team knocked down. Real fans go down with them and encourage to keep fighting back. Life is not about cherry picking when things goes good or bad, life is about taking a hard fall with the good and keep marching with your head held high as long as your heart and mind is in it all the way through thick and thin. Now let's go try to kick some butt in Pittsburgh and come home with a W, if not, I still will wear my team color. Go get'em boys!!!
  16. Like father, like son. J.Kraft shows arrogance instead of class. I would like to see him call Harbaugh a sweetheart to his face. An old saying is don't say it behind their back if you cannot say it to their face. I bet Harbaugh would slap him silly if J.Kraft told him that to his face. An arrogant little you know what he is and yes, I would say it to J.Kraft's face. Makes me mad when people like J.Kraft and his father shows no respect to anyone but themselves. I am really proud of how respectful Bisciotti is to personnels of NFL no matter the circumstances. It's obvious how much I don't like the Pats because I have no respect for them. I'll leave it at that because I respect that I can't go above G rated here.
  17. "Right now, it probably comes down to the fact that we're not believing in ourselves enough, and we're not envisioning winning those football games. We've got to turn that around." - Joe Flacco Shouldn't they already have believed before every game, not wait till after they lose first three? I as a fan believed that we were a winning football team before first game, before 2nd game and even before the 3rd game at home against Bengals. What? Players did not believe in themselves? That is on the coaches if players do not believe. They should be able to gauge the mood and act accordingly, before the game, not after. I see the offense made corrections accordingly, at least giving us chances to win games. I see the defense falling apart more times than I like to see. That is on Pees, he is paid to make sure players fully understand their roles, make sure players are fully fired up. Every time the offense is on the field, that is on Pees to see what the mistakes are and have it corrected, light a fire under them if they have to. I love coaches who are down the sidelines and have their game faces on to keep the players fired up and in a believable mood, not up there in coaches box not able to see the moods, leave it up to assistance coaches to rally and fire up players? That's wrong. Pees should be down there with a semi maniacal looking game face to show players the way. Fire Pees, I seen enough of his style of not positioning the back 4 players properly. Time to get a DC who will work with the players through blood, sweat and tears together than being disengage up there in coaches box.
  18. Maybe Packers will want him with Jordy out. That would be something. I think Ozzie will start trading players to get draft picks if we start 0-4. Also next year, we will have a lot less dead money.
  19. That's gotta be rough. lol I feel for ya. Hang in there.
  20. I was thinking maybe SSS can be traded to Panthers, after all, it's SSS last season and we kindly trade him to give him one more shot at SB, he deserves to be playing in the SB one more time. Not fair to SSS to play out this season without a chance to go to SB.
  21. Don't take it personally. They are not true Ravens fans, just looking to aggravate people for kicks is all. Ignore them.
  22. See y'all Thursday night, at least it is against the Steelers. I am going to have to "hide" for awhile down here as Panthers are 3-0. lol Oh well, life isn't perfect.
  23. Defense is in top 10 for most points allowed. Offense will be close to top 10 scoring after all games are played this week, likely break into top 15 scoring. Pees has got to go. I hope Colts fire Pagano and we bring him here.
  24. I have never said this but Pees has to go, not playing safeties back far enough to help corners on Bengal's final drive was all Dalton/Green needed. Maybe Pagano will get fired and become our DC.
  25. We actually have 2 timeouts, 2 min mark and one left. Now it is up to offense once again. Hope we pull this one off. That missed field goal looms large now.
