  1. tough talk.......lol
  2. It's probably more a comment on how little they think of Jernigan. For whatever reason(s) his time here was done.
  3. Eh, they obviously had some issues with Jernigan other than this being the last year on his rookie contract. For me it's not that big of a deal losing him. He's been inconsistent and has made some pretty dumb mistakes. Good they were able to move up in the third round in a deep draft.
  4. A Trumbo Jumbo! lol
  5. lol. Where did you read that?
  6. Q played much of 2011 with a torn meniscus which he got fixed towards the end of the regular season. He came back for the playoffs a "new man".
  7. LMAO! Ray Ray was a shell of his former self and on his "last ride". To be frank that's what he did, came along for the ride.
  8. If you actually read the article no one was defending the poor offensive production or poor play on Flacco's part. The FACTS are that they did enough in quite a few of the losses to put the team in a position to win and the D choked. Just FACTS, no rationalizations or excuses. Other teams in our division had issues at some point last year as well and it's likely if the D had not choked in just a couple of those losses the Ravens are in the playoffs. I'm not going to bother going into the "exhausted D" argument, that's been discussed ad nauseum and is not even close to being right. And if you watch football at all you will see that more often than not it comes down "to one stop at the end of the game" all over the NFL, week in and week out. Rarely are there "comfortable wins" any more. Again, I don't see anyone saying that huge improvements aren't needed on offense, Stevie Wonder could see that. But none of that matters if you don't finish games. Look no farther than the this year's SB for a perfect illustration of that FACT.
  9. The bottom line is that you've completely missed the point, or are purposely ignoring it. Regardless of Flacco's performance last year or where the the defense ranked, they blew numerous games by sucking bad late and not finishing. It's likely that the Ravens were in the playoffs if that did not happen.
  10. There's no big mystery here, or any sign that KC will be a bust. Anyone that bothered to read anything about him last spring knew that he was another green Boise State defender that would need a lot of work. Add to that the fact that he is just now turning 23 later this month and it's obvious why last year turned out as it did. Personally I think he will eventually be a monster.
  11. It is the year of The Bundy!
  12. Many don't understand this simple concept. Different parts of the game aren't played in a vacuum. One thing that's irrefutable is teams that compete for championships always finish games well.
  13. I hear ya, lol.
  14. All I can say is that I'm glad fans on this board don't run the team.
  15. Don't bother, I can't read this.
  16. Good post and you hit the nail on the head with #1. That's the reason Kiper has as going with Ramczyk in the first round.
  17. Continuing to reply to the mindless posts doesn't help and the dude is ruining just about every thread now. Might as well just shut the boards down now.
  18. Yeah, and even though his skills diminished a bit his last year, he was still solid. In 2013 and 2014 he was perhaps the most consistent talent on the D and he really helped usher CJ into the NFL.
  19. Will there still be a John Q fan in Oakland? IDK. If the Ravens committed to a move to Alabama in 2019, would Bill B. Bmore fan flock to The Bank for the next two years to bid them a fond farewell because they now could afford to attend?
  20. What's even more lame is that they will be in Oakland for two years while they build a stadium in Vegas. Who's gonna go to those games?
  21. I agree.
  22. I don't think anyone would have expected Maryland to make a serious bid the the NC, but I also don't think many expected them to get bounced in the first round either. As you mentioned, Melo went stone cold, and that happened too often at the wrong times this year. Jackson, Huerter and Cowan are a solid core for next year and will have a year of experience to build on. I only see the Terps getting better, even if Melo is gone.
  23. Seems Xavier is the real deal. Terps first round exit doesn't look so bad now.
  24. Timmy has shown flashes of being a great player, but is consistently inconsistent and just doesn't play smart. Would be great to get a second, or even a third for him.
  25. You're kidding, right? Joe Flacco is the greatest QB of all time. He is on track to be a first ballot HOFer. Why would he need to play better?
