Not sure what you were watching, but opposing teams targeted Webb all year long. He pretty much sucked.

Veteran leadership. Experience. Dependability. Smith would be a great fit and I think we still go after a WR in the draft.

I think the decision was made early that the bulk of free cap room would go to the O, though I sure hope they have room reserved for D. Smith.

Graham provided valuable depth at corner and wasn't expected to be "the guy" and IMO played much better than Webb in general in 2013. Not saying in the long run Webb will not return to form, but he flat out sucked last year and hopefully improves in 2014. Regardless, we need to bolster depth at corner.

Kinda late to the party, but I'm sad to see Graham go. He is a solid player and a stand up guy. Considering Webb's terrible play last year, Corey's departure creates uncertainty. It seems we will now need to bolster depth at CB. Good for him though, he gets to play in his home town!

There was enough there to succeed on some level had there been some sort of running game and decent O line play. In other words, lack of talent at WR was the least of the offense's issues. And Jones made enough plays in that pathetic scenario to show that he had in fact improved. I think he will improve even more.

You're right about the missing talent, but it wasn't at WR. It was on the O line.

This was a great signing for a dynamic and exciting player who has improved tremendously as a receiver. We're fortunate to be able to keep him. Upgrading and stabilizing the O line will make JJ, all the receivers and Joe much better in 2014. With this deal done it's time to get D. Smith wrapped up and find the guys to improve at C and RT.
