  1. Oh it's a HUGE deal, especially when it is cold and/or wet. Definitely provides for a better grip and control of the ball in those conditions.
  2. If one wanted to do something shady, like deflate some footballs, the rest room would be the place to do it as by law you can't place surveillance cameras there.
  3. yeah, it would make sense if the balls hadn't been deflated sometime after he took possession of them.
  4. It would be a done deal if they had surveillance video from another game with him again hitting the head on the way to the field.
  5. Because you are carrying the game balls to the field? And I'm guessing we are talking about someone that is somewhere between 20 and 30 years old? just doesn't hold water. whooops!
  6. No one is making excuses, but it's certainly possible that it gave them the competitive edge to win. Do you think they would cheat and risk getting caught if they didn't think it would help them win?
  7. Certainly not a stretch to think the Ravens could have won. Just the possible recovery of fumbles alone could have been worth 4 points. Don't think you are grasping the importance of increased grip on the ball when it is cold. Easier to handle for anyone touching it.
  8. Wonder if they will look at surveillance footage from the Ravens game.
  9. So you don't think BB knew about what was going on? It may have not been his idea, but I doubt that he didn't know it was being done. And obviously from the suspicions brought up by the colts in the fall this wasn't the first and only instance. No question in my mind they did it against the Ravens as well.
  10. Leave it to Kraft to take poop and smother it in velveeta to keep it from stinking. Man I hope the NFL gets the evidence on these cheats.
  11. I saw that earlier and couldn't believe it aired. The woman interviewing kinda' said "whaaaat?" He has a nasty look on his face when he says it too. whatta idiot!
  12. With the 4 point differential against the Ravens, if they did the same, your daggone right it could have been enough to determine the outcome.
  13. yeah, no that ain't happening. But you can bet they cheated against the Ravens. Explain away that 4 points patsies.
  14. sorry, total bs. Just a concocted fairy tale to try to squirm out of getting caught at ONE of their cheats. Look, it was obvious they both lied at their first conferences. You just need to resign yourself to the fact that you root for a team that cheats, and always has cheated.
  15. http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/01/22/tom-brady-bill-belichick-deflategate-press-conference?sct=obnetwork
  16. dude, they both lied through there teeth. Why would they lie if there was nothing to hide. Brady even had the nerve to say that he was all about fair play, while he was lying. Ain't that enough to prove that they are cheats and scum bags?
  17. Appreciate the honest post, although I'm not completely following your logic. Why would it be different if the balls were improperly inflated prior to the check, or deflated after? The only difference I could see is the refs screwed up not catching them, but cheating is cheating. And the theory that the "environment" could have caused the deflation doesn't hold water. If that were the case the colts' balls would, at the least, have been out of range as well. To paraphrase your comment, this sucks for Ravens fans like me, because you can be sure they cheated in some way in the previous game. And I wouldn't just be sick of belicheat, but also that lying scum bag brady. It's pretty obvious that he has endorsed and taken full advantage of any and all of this teams shenanigans. The fact that he presents himself publicly as a "role model" for fair play is disgusting.
  18. Who was left that would be better?
  19. alrighty then........ get to work Marc!
  20. Good read http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/02/sports/football/an-unconventional-path-to-scripting-the-broncos-offense.html?_r=0
  21. So, per NFLN the Ravens are interviewing Gase tonight.
  22. Good point, I don't disagree. I just don't think they take the chance at this point. They will do their best to bring in a proven OC that runs a scheme similar to what was used last year.
  23. truth is if they are proven to be good, there's always a chance they will leave for a promotion to HC. You would have to take a chance on a young, unproven upstart to have it any different. Are the Ravens likely to do that at this point? Probably not given that they have a great core that can compete in the tournament now without a lot of roster changes.
  24. Awww........ yunz are so special playa.
  25. lol! It's an endearing synonym playa!
