  1. Posting this link to read just in case you didn't know where the pats "legacy" began. cheaters http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowplow_Game
  2. Ian's report is being shrugged off because an NFL source said he was wrong, not because he worked as a pats beat reporter.
  3. Witch hunt? OK chief. If you don't see the irony in Rappaport being a former pats beat reporter, well, I really don't know what to say. And it's totally laughable because anything and everything that has contested the pats cheating has come from Boston, or someone with connections to Boston. The rest of the world(save a few closet pats fans) sees the obvious and knows they are liars and cheats.......Kraft, BB, Brady.....all of em.
  4. LMAO! Mike Preston? It's fairly obvious his schtick is to overtly criticize anyone and everyone. And it's a pretty safe assumption that he'll never be working for NFL Media. Mike Preston? 'cmon man!
  5. I didn't draw any conclusions, I said it was laughable and could be more than a coincidence since an NFL source said Rappaport was wrong. Think of it this way......... Ian was a beat reporter for the pats. Do think it may be likely that his sources concerning the pats could be someone close to or even within the organization? Could it be more likely he would report it rather than, say an NFL media reporter that formerly worked for the Colts? Sure it is! It's just human nature. Like I said, I'm not claiming anything as fact, but it is a curious coincidence that he is the one that came up with the conflicting report.
  6. Maybe, maybe not. It's sometimes human nature to support those you are most familiar with, whether you are generally unbiased or not. And sure, if Aaron Wilson went to work for NFL Media it's entirely possible he would sometimes lean towards supporting the Ravens.
  7. Reaching for what? Who knows the real story, but don't you find it laughable that the conflicting report came from someone with connections to Boston? I think it's hilarious and maybe more than a coincidence since a league source said he was wrong.
  8. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got curious and googled Ian Rappaport who reported the conflicting story about the deflated balls. Guess what? Prior to working for NFL Media he was a pats beat reporter for the Boston Herald!
  9. lol Why do you say only one ball was significantly under the limit? No one knows that for fact. As was previously quoted; As one league source with knowledge of the situation told PFT in response to the NFL Media report, “Ian’s wrong.” Apart from the inherent conflict between the written assertion that “many” were “just a few ticks under” and only “three or four” were “right at the line but a little bit under,” it’s possible that both versions are incorrect. Who knows what comes out of the report, but it was obvious Brady was lying in his first presser, and then when given the chance, did not deny involvement. Those facts would lead me to believe something shady occurred on the NE side and not with the Colts.
  10. Maybe because he admitted he did it? idk
  11. OK Mr. Schedule Guy, please send us to pburgh for Game 1 or two of the 2015 season.
  12. You need to stop sticking up for the cheatriots. You are tainting your image around here. lol
  13. Yeah, anytime you put 60 professional athletes in a room you are going to have some bad actors. But I think what is separating pats, browns, falcons, etc., are the purposeful transgressions by owners and coaches to gain competitive advantage. I'm hopeful that the Ravens haven't been/won't stoop to such classless acts.
  14. It doesn't matter. With all of the crap the pats do and have done, and with all of the "favors" granted through kraft, there will forever be a question(outside of NE of course) of "would they have........". Anything they and tommie have ever accomplished will always be tainted with doubt. As good as they are, I'm glad they are not my team of choice. bye the bye.........the beeah tastes wicked good.
  15. yeah, no, Has nothing to do with anyone winning or losing. The cheatriots are wicked good cheaters, always have been and their crap is ruining the integrity of the game.
  16. excerpt from Florio's PFT column; So how many are “many”? And how much is “just a few ticks”? Making the NFL media report even more confusing is the fact that, when Rapoport discussed the issue on the air, he specifically said that “a couple, three or four were about a pound under and three or four more were right at the line but a little bit under.” As one league source with knowledge of the situation told PFT in response to the NFL Media report, “Ian’s wrong.” Apart from the inherent conflict between the written assertion that “many” were “just a few ticks under” and only “three or four” were “right at the line but a little bit under,” it’s possible that both versions are incorrect. Either way, the truth eventually will be known. As a different source told PFT on Sunday morning, the NFL logged all PSI readings for the Patriots and Colts footballs at halftime of the AFC title game. Assuming that this information makes its way into Ted Wells’ report (and surely it will), the hard numbers eventually will become public.
  17. Who knows, but if Kraft is successful in getting this swept under the rug I will have lost all hope of seeing a fair and level playing field for all teams in the NFL.
  18. ...and how do you know this?
  19. sorry, not buying into the unnamed "multiple sources" reporting. Seems some are taking it as fact. We'll see in a few weeks what comes out of this, but I find it hard to believe brady would lie(as everyone outside of NE knows he did in his presser) if there wasn't something to hide. "anomaly"? I just don't see it.
  20. .......not only the stuff that is known, but I'm sure there's a ton of other instances that we don't know about. I had forgotten about the snow plow thing. Could you imagine if that was done today?
  21. lol If one were to back through the belicheat/brady years I'm sure it would be a most fruitful archaeological dig where piles of crap would be found throughout.
  22. Sure he knew, and everyone outside of NE believes he lied through his teeth.
