  1. Chevy aftermarket parts....JC Whitney, Jegs, Ebay or somewhere else?

Looking at a mild cat back system, intake of some sort, rear entertainment system for the kiddies and some all weather floor mats. We'll see how long that keeps me busy!

Would love a nice 3" leveling kit and 33s, but think the wife would chop off my...

Id check out Maryland Speeds website, Exhaust, Magnaflow muffler. I think it might already have a single 3" system. Some did, some didn't . Floor mats, weathertech pricey but fit the best and stay put nicely. They look great too.

Intake, I like the Outlaw performance one or the GM PERFORMANCE parts one.

Rear entertainment, I'd check on eBay they sell headrests ready to go, some built in DVD some with out. Or would you rather have the roof mount flip down?

  2. Well I had everything removed and replaced, new calibers, new brake pads, new brake fluid, new tubes, everything. Yet it still acts up and the brakes lock up, now could it be the Rear Brakes or the brake pedal itself going bad?

    Sounds like an ABS issue,

  3. Indeed I bet id crush that GT on my low boost setting. Right now I'm running 23lbs on stock internals. K series loves boost!!! I'm pushing a little bit over 500whp. 280lbs tq. Damn you Honda and your torqless engines

Traction is your downfall. I could be (not saying I am) down 150 hp from that, and beat you like a scalded dawg. : P

A good 60 for your car with drag radials and leaving off a 2 step is probably 1.7-1.8. I leave on 19lbs and crack consistent 1.4-1.5, with a slight spin of all 4 Drag Radials. I'm not a rookie and this isn't the fastest street car I've had but it's probably the most fun. Being able to launch harder then guys with tubbed cars makes me smile.

  4. What you got?

A lil project awd DSM, S266 T4 turbo , tubular punishment racing turbo manifold , magnuson sheet metal intake manifold, 950 cc injectors, Bosch fuel pump, Shepard trans, ACT3600 clutch. 2750 race weight , enough power to trap 130.

  5. I love the JK's TOO! I was actually thinking about buying a JKU myself! I want the fastback hard top from Wild BOAR! That, with a nice TerraFlex 6" kit with Walker Evans 17" beadlocks and 40" Pitbull Rockers! Ohh yea, and the COD off-road SRT Hemi swap... hahahahahah! Did I mention the RockJock axels!? About 70k later.....

  6. I bet thats a fun little package with 33's. What gearing you running?

I'm contemplating a Solid axel Swap with my X after it's not my daily anymore. I'm looking for a Nissan Frontier to fill that void. A couple of guys have SAS'd the 2nd gen Xterra using a bunch of JK Rubicon bits.

  7. Yeah, its a 401 out of '71 Wagoneer with roughly 335hp @5000 and 435 ftlb @3400

Not really sure if H8R was kidding or just didnt really know what he was looking at...I guess we'll find out soon ;)

I was kidding. : P That motor is perfectly suited for a Jeep with 39's, just not much else unless it's in a boat!

Boat Anchor! : P A 400 SBC would have been a better choice. : P How'd you like the Davis HEI? Thank GM for it! hahahahaZ!
