  1. I was kidding. : P That motor is perfectly suited for a Jeep with 39's, just not much else unless it's in a boat! Boat Anchor! : P A 400 SBC would have been a better choice. : P How'd you like the Davis HEI? Thank GM for it! hahahahaZ!
  2. That's a cute little motor.
  3. Rancho is crap. I'd go with CST . The other ones mentioned are OK. BDS, being the better of the two but CST is a Big Boy lift. : ) http://www.cstsuspension.com/
  4. Nice rides! Just raised the truck 1.25 in the front and dropped my back in the driveway.. lol. Twisted it pretty darn good... Ohh year. I think I broke my pinky too. Brake caliper was resting on the upper arm, my hand was on the lower control arm... The caliper falls off the upper and smashed my hand. Sandwhiching it between the loaded caliper and the lower control arm. But, ITS DONE and my Coil-overs are better then ever!
  5. Cool man! I'll have a winch back on it soon. Have to cnc some parts and do some design work on my skid plate.
  6. Yeah man! The last bumper was nice and tough no doubt but it was 140lbs w/o the winch, close to 185 with syn. winch rope. The new bumper is about 75 lbs and with winch 120 or so. thats a big savings . My suspension thanks me. All that weight on the nose isn't ideal. I'm going to be adding some gussets to the corners and such. It's not all the way done but its pretty good right now! I'm also swapping to the 2010+ front grill which will close the gap just below my current grill nicely. Ince thats done, some filler plate for the top rails to finish her off. It'll be awhile for that though.
  7. Built a different bumper for the truck!
  8. Ohh yea!! If the movie I want to see isnt available in IMAX, I ALWAYS got to Snowden! It's a nice little get away from Mall Parking and seems to have a LOT less youger punks hanging out.I too saw first class at Snowden!
  9. I'll be seeing Super8 this week. Was supposed to go last night but my homie FLAKED. I have a Love/Hate realationship with AMC Columbia IMAX.... I love that its available and super close (1.5miles away), I H8 that that tickest are almost 16 bucks. : P
  10. Nice man! Looking good!
  11. saw Source Code last night! I like it, but I figured out things FAR too quickly in the movie. It's no thriller like inception but still worth the trip to the movies IMO.
  12. Anyone checked out "Source Code". Attempted to see it the other night but it was SOLD OUT at the Columbia AMC. It's gotten pretty good ratings.
  13. My X has a new set of ProComp.7089 for her. 35's will come after the long travel kit. I already have Radflo extended 2.5 external reservoir coil overs sitting in a box ready to replace my 2.0 standard lengths! I'm still looking for the right 66-67 Dueces to build. The drivetrain will not be your typical SBC, to say the least.
  14. I'm not a fan of those Rovers. Very poor reliability and parts are silly priced. They do look pretty sick, I must say. I don't think is be doing any off-roading in that model Rover. An older Disco, that's a different matter. They're PIMP. I'M planning on doing a VK5.6 swap on my Xterra.
  15. I watched Despicable ME, last night. not bad actually.
  16. On the the STEAL City, once again!

  17. Training Camp... One Step Closer!

  18. Yea, but the LS1 had the solenoid on the other side IIRC. BTW, It can be an Ls7 WITHOUT the dry sump oiling ( the oil tank you're referring .to) . Like I said, I can't see any picture but the last so I see no wheels. I can tell you it's either a L92 intake or and Ls7. The Ls7 has a 90mm TB where as the LS2 does not. BTW, if you look very close, you can see the ridges in the intake just behind the TB which is a nearly a DEAD give away for the Ls7. Also, it may be a mish-mash of parts because the coil packs are later style truck units.
  19. Anyone one of you guys actually OFF-Road? : P my X get's it done....as good as an IFS rig can, atleast!... lol I run Mickey's too, but the Baja MTZ, I had the claws but I daily drive mine and they wore super fast.
  20. I can only see the last pic but it's a Ls2/3 or 7 (intake and drive by wire give it away) and an ATI Procharger.
  21. If you can't tell a Zr1 from a base corvette, you're not a car person. Besides, I don't pick cars for what everyone else thinks. The Zr1 and Z06 are a bit harder to tell the difference, mainly because they both share the same wide body fenders, though the Zr1 has different vents in front fenders and rear quarters. The hood also tells the story of which powerplant the vehicle has, hinting to what trim the Vette is. I agree though, no mistaking a Vipers look. The are pretty sweet looking, just not a fan of the 500+ci V10. The Viper does tons of great things, I'm just not a Dodge guy at heart.
  22. most people feel the opposite about the Viper, the V10 sounds nothing like a musclecar and sounds pretty weird if you ask me. BTW, Vettes are NOT half the price...Unless you're talking about a z06 instead of a Zr1.
  23. The performance numbers are almost a wash though. BTW, a ZR1 has done 10.5 stock.... The FASTEST ACR in the country is I could find is an 11.0 1/4 mile... The FASTEST STOCK Z06, NOT a ZR1 went 10.8. The guy owns both a z06 and an ACR. Look up Jaime Furman. Heck, rangerZ06 ran 10's 3 years ago with a Z06. The Viper is less consistent do to it's archaic V10 and LAME rear diff gearing.
  24. LOL. Ride in a Zr1 and then ride in an ACR and you will quickly realize they are different vehicles. The ACR is a brutal car but its a RACE CAR. The Zr1 is more of a touring car with a 638HP powerplant. Just look at the Highrise wing and styling.... No radio, lack of carpet, engine heat like a SOB. Where as the ZR1 has a plus interior and ALL the bells and whistles ( Plush for GM terms= cheap usually though..lol) Granted the ACR does seem to be a track monster and performs as it should, you could live with the Vette on a daily. The Z06 is more of a race car then the Zr1, it just lacks the power from the blown 6.2. Bottom line, I'd take either (Zr1 or ACR) one for a fun car. The Viper is just too much on the ragged edge of streetability for me to choose it over a Zr1.
  25. Wrong. Vette insurance is CHEAP compared to almost ALL sports cars. My Formula and Z28 were both more. The STI is considered a Sedan, thats what it was cheaper.
