Apparently a Daryl deal is pretty close

It would appear that way as McClain is about to be cut. Would't cut McClain without getting Daryl back.

The #Ravens will release fullback Vonta Leach and LB Jameel McClain, per sources. Not official but should be soon.

I am TIRED of all the whininess here! Come on guys and gals, Ozzie has been doing this for years and has put together 2 super bowl teams in his career. This is the nature of the beast known as the salary cap. Stop whining about it. I loved Boldin as much as anyone, but we have to move on and see what Oz can do for us. I believe good things are gonna happen and we will hopefully be back in the playoffs next year. There is a plan. So, as Ditka would say, STOP IT!

I may be way off here, I hope I am, actually. Boldin was my favorite player on this team.

However, I kind of feel like he is playing the media a bit so that he comes out completely as a victim in all of this. First saying he would be a Raven or retire. Then saying the team didn't come to him to ask about a pay cut. Then saying he never knew the trade was happening.

I really feel like he is playing the media to be on his side and kind of make the front office look bad by not keeping him up to date on everything and let him know he was being traded, not holding up their end of the deal. As much as I love Q, I hope he isn't trying to just drum up the media to make himself look like a victim and the FO look bad.
