No thanks to Laremy Tunsil or Ronnie Stanley the Ravens have to go defense, getting sick of these mock drafts with the OT's they won't be worth the 6th pick, hope Ozzie will go defense and give the Ravens defense that identity they been missing for a while.
You could easily argue that stability at LT is vastly more important than any single defensive player we could get in this draft.
Its actually kind of hard to argue that a Tunsil or Stanley isn't worth a top 6 pick, but a guy like Bosa, Jack, or Buckner is. They all have major strengths, and they all have obvious weaknesses.
Plus, I highly doubt drafting a single defensive player at #6 (especially the one's in this draft) is going to change the "identity" of this team or defense.
It's worth trying I believe to take a chance with a defensive player, Ramsey, Bosa and Buckner are my top 3, let's take some inspiration from the Denver Broncos who had a bad passing game, an ok run game and then elite defense. The reason why I don't want the OT's is because Tunsil has injury concerns and missed games in all his college years and it sounds like if the Ravens grab him that they will replace Eugene Monroe with a new Eugene Monroe + he has off the field issues, yeah no thanks and Ronnie Stanley is not worth taking at 6th, if we trade down then yes.

Hoping for a defensive player in the first round like Jalen Ramsey, Joey Bosa or Deforest Buckner, but god forbid its gonna be Ronnie Stanley or Laremy Tunsil.
The second round, Mackensie Alexander, Noah Spence, Artie Burns or William Jackson III would be great.
Shouldn't Ravens pick before Jacksonville since they ended with the same record and Ravens lost to Jacksonville or am I missing something?
Hope Ravens select a defensive player, Ravens need a great defense again.
Hope Wallace signs so the main focus can be pass rush and the OL, Ozzie will get it done!
Great signing from Oz!
I know it's a giant if, but what if Jalen Ramsey is available, how do you guys see the situation?
how is he a baller with zero int last year.....this is a what have you done lately for me league....
Chargers weren't a good pass rushing team like us last year so maybe if we can upgrade our pass rush Weddle may end getting some picks, he has the coverage skills so we can hope, but you're right he need picks no matter what.
Aldon Smith could be a great addition when he can return to the field in middle of November where it really counts and it would help keeping the pass rushers fresh.
Shouldn't Ravens pick at no. 5 since the Jags beat them and they both ended with the same record?
Wouldn't mind at all if they could snap Eric Winston for a good price the defense has gotten so much better with these draft picks and Ravens truly sticks to the defensive side and that's great, I fell in love with Ravens defense when I became a fan. There is still some fine offensive players available like RB Andre Williams and WR Michael Campanaro a guy I would love to see Ravens take in the 5th round. A defensive position I see Ravens still needs to address is CB, but it's not unreasonable for us fans to expect Ozzie fill that need today.
In Ozzie we trust!
Offense wins games, defense wins championships!
Hope Ravens will draft another C.J in the 3rd round. C.J Fiedorowicz.
I like Chris Clemons better, but never doubt Ozzie.
Great move Ozzie! Now snatch Chris Clemens before someone else does.
what I'm hoping for:
re-sign Daryl Smith
sign Chris Clemens S
sign Steve Smith (only 1 year deal)
sign a center (not neccesary Alex Mack)
and draft the last needs. (TE, RB, DE, CB and so on and don't have to be in that order)
@IconicTester34 one thing you have to remember is never doubt Ozzie. I don't think Ravens have missed that much of course if Ravens had signed Jairus Byrd, DeMarcus Ware, Golden Tate, Eric Decker and so on would be awesome, but the Ravens ain't Yankees and Ravens have resigned some of their own players which is very good especially the Eugene Monroe signing was a great move that needs a elite GM to get that kind of deal done. Ravens don't have the biggest salary cap so it's better for Ravens to rely on the draft and sign bigger names on their terms.
This year free agency has been mostly about offense unlike last year where it was about reloading the defense.
Once a Texan, always a Raven.
Great his back! But only as a returner and third WR!
@RavenManiac#7 i would much rather have Golden Tate than Julian Edelman, I think he has more upside, younger and won't command a crazy price, Edelman is also a injury risky WR while Golden Tate haven't been that Seahawks and Ravens use a similar offensive system and yeah Edelman will have to adjust a completely different system if he signs with Ravens. So I just pray and hope for Golden Tate.
Great signing, now hope Ravens can re-sign greedy Daryl Smith, sign Golden Tate and Chris Clemens and a center and then draft the last needs and then this team is ready to make a run for the playoff where Ravens was missed last year.
Screw Edelman, I want Tate!
Damn when did Daryl Smith become so greedy?

To be fair the Ravens did try to trade up and get Ramsey, you can't blame them you gotta blame the Cowboys their asking price was too high, but it was a little surprising they passed on Noah Spence.
