The only Pro Bowl player we have is Tucker and he was Undrafted. I think that about sums it up. Joe Flacco right now is one of the worse quarterbacks in the league and unless that changes we are in for a long season. All the hoopla with our alleged "Weapons" for what? Surely not what I was expecting. All I know right now is it feels like continuation of last season. Counting last season we are now 8-15. just Frustrated!
Mosley Suggs B.Williams and Weddle were all playing at pro bowl level but our offense couldn't muster out a few more wins.
Do you really think they will make the Pro Bowl?
I agree on Weddle and B Williams Tucker is the only "for sure" name fit for Pro Bowl status right now.
Aiken has not made the "Big" catch and his touches are far and few between. Is his mental concentration as sharp as last year? It seems that his role has been degraded when Smith is out and Perriman has been targeted. .
How can it be we average more offensive yards than the Eagles, Vikings and Broncos? Is this stat worth a conversation. No. The stat that reflects the Ravens is how leads dissolved in the 4th quarter. Is the defensive or offensive team responsibility for losing that advantage. Which team actually is killing the organization? I think the goat awards go to the O side because we could not execute effective plays and gave the opposition the mental edge to carry on for their win.As I had stated before, I believe the faults are a player and coach fail. Getting rid of Trestman proved it.
Two Issues. We lost due to bad execution and team mistakes. You could peg coaching as a near third on the list. The players and coaches now have our bitter rival ahead. They should target next Sunday for the new start point. After all,the Bengals have the same record as us. Time to act like we are confident and have clear decisions.
"Shaky end of the quarter" is the perfect description of where we are these days. Push them off a second floor bedroom window ledge for your crash. It would be nice if you could post that vid. I'm leaving mine at foot level so I can kick it if or when we lose to the Steelers
Good, let them come back, but till the Ravens rid themselves of Harbaugh and his cast of incompetent coaches, there will be little progress made. Harbaugh has always been clueless, he lost the team early and often when he arrived Baltimore. His only saving grace being that Ray Lewis never joined any of those mutinies, and was always there to get everyone back in line. Harbaugh was told on NFL network by former Ravens coaches that he hasn't coached yet till he tries to coach a team without Lewis...look at this team now. Not so much like the Ravens of old, but a headless chicken without direction. There's no form of leadership, they're are outcoached in every game, they don't surprise anyone with anything they're doing and cannot adjust to what their opponents are doing to save their lives. Players lack discipline, there's no cohesion, and sometimes they look downright confused by what the opponent is doing. Let's get real, this season is lost, and so will the next one be if we don't end the era of cluelessness and incompetence in Baltimore. It is time to change direction, and a smart front office would start preparing for that move right now, even as Harbaugh oversees his final season.
You nailed it. Every point is dead on target. The time has come to make the changes that we all know needs to turn this team around.
The guys who are accountants and lawyers will help decide if the coaching staff is acceptable. We can only criticize but the future decisions and their results are in Biscotti's hands.
I think it is interesting that Mink uses the veteran injuries as the channel for the losses. I think the field execution of players no matter if they are vets or rookies is the flaw. These are coaching problems and just awful play coupled with bad luck. For example, many times Wallace almost had it, Webb was flat footed against the Giants, Jusczyk missing the block in the red zone against the Jets, we failed on third/fourth down conversions and many players contributed to the penalty club. This is a situation where John has to search and find the best way to create a four game WIN streak. The tough schedule is ahead.
"Killer instinct"? You have to know what you are doing before you can have a "killer instinct". Calling a time-out before a punt....and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Joe's shoulder.....stop the whinning and put another Q-B in there. Really they can hardly do any worse. Dumervil? The most over-paid do nothing player in football today. Ever since we got buffaloed with that signing it's been straight down hill. We can beat the Steelers but need players in there who want to play, hit hard, and have fun. Come on coaches, earn your pay, make the tough calls. Sunday was a low point in Raven history....although you could see it coming from a mile away. We draft horribily and have to live on unsigned free agents. How has that done for us? Yeah, I know.....God bless Justin Tucker. Go Ravens!
our drafts have been as good as anybody's so that's not even an issue.
Can you imagine if we did not have JT? At this point, he is the primary scoring player. Without a decent FG kicker, the Ravens would absolutely stink. It would be like trying to swallow aspirin without water.
I'm sure Harbaugh and Co. will correct the issues troubling the Ravens over the course of the bye week specially if our injured players return to the o-line. Harbaugh is a decent coach and will find a way to add the missing "killer instinct" to his team. "In Ozzie We Trust". Go Ravens!!!!!
"in ozzie we bust" until further notice
No assumptions for a healthier Ravens team can be made with the way we played against the two NY teams Our hardest schedule is on the horizon as well. We have to beat the Steelers to ascertain if a turn around can be had. .

I'm frustrated with Doom too and I think the writing could be on the wall in terms of age induced regression, but we can't ignore his stellar 2014 where he nearly broke the sack record and him and Suggs tormented the league combining for the most sacks in the league.
Dumervil was God in 014 because he had a healthy Suggs. He left the status for two years because Suggs and his own conditioning were faulty. Would you think he is past his prime as well?
2016 game 4 through 7= NO MOJO We are unlucky.... New KARMA is needed. This article illustrates that we are in difficult and dire times. Any team that we play either at home or on the road can assume they can win. They no longer fear playing us. There is no fear playing the Ravens.
“We’ve jumped out to a lead and we give them an easy touchdown to get back in the game,” Harbaugh said. “That’s got to be fixed.” End Quote. How can this be solved? I think it is a problem that only coaches can solve. They have to instill confidence, conditioning and an attitude. That is what these guys need. These are not the RAVENS of the past. Their positioning on the field when a receiver streams by them is alarming. For our receivers, catches have to be made with arrogant confidence. We sure stunk it up against the 2-6 JETS. We gave them confidence and never corrected out own doubts. Joe should have never started. Mallet should have started and he CAN perform. The running game attains only 8 rushing yards? That is and O line FAIL. The Steelers will be in M & T inb two weeks and I can see them exulting confidence. Our coaches are to blame for these four losses as well as the dumbfounded players.
At least we will have Myles Garrett next year. The Ravens are pathetic, John Harbaugh needs to go.
Who is the responsible party to keep and dispose players in the pre season?. That is upper management and the whole blame rests on their shoulders. May I offer the Bronco's acquisition of our discarded CB Stewart as an example. He actually plays better in Denver than when he was here.
Flacco has stunk up the joint since the Super Bowl win. It doesn't look to me like his heart is in it any more. He got a Super Bowl ring and a mega contract so now it looks to me like he is going through the motions.
He obviously gets happy feet as soon as he feels a little pressure, resulting in throws behind the receiver, into the ground or 3 feet over the receiver's head. The game last week was a prime example. Mike Wallace was wide open at the 8 yard line at the end of the game and he throws it 5 feet over his head and he wasn't even being pressured. Oakland game first down at mid field with 40 seconds, needing a FG to win the game. Basically all he needed was another 10 yards to give Tucker a decent shot at the win. Flacco throws 4 straight that were incomplete, game over. The point is the Ravens would be 5-2 with a decent QB and probably 7-0 with an excellent QB. Since we will probably be drafting in the top 7 or 8 picks this year, I hope the Ravens take the best QB available, let him sit for one year behind Flacco and then cut Flacco loose and let the new QB take over. If I was SB I would clean house starting with Ozzie, Harbaugh and DeCosta when the season ends. Ozzie hasn't had a good draft since 2008 if the truth be told.
I think that Mallet may be the next starting QB if Joe stays ordinary. Rookie QBs that stun their fans are few and rare to find but they do emerge. Of course, the organization has to plan for a immediate QB upgrade and this place is loyal to the investment of its' current leader.
Flacco peaked in 2012.....now he's just a cap killer.
When you think of it, very few QBs have consistency over a yearly period. Ben,Brady,Rogers,Russel,Ryan, Rivers and (P Manning) are in that conversation. What makes Brady the king is that his HC is a genius and his system wins those games. In our organization, I would say only Kubiak offered a team system that was complete and it was unfortunate for us, he moved on.
Can't believe FO extended Flacco so he can play like he has. He has handicapped the franchise for the next few years.
Hey leave my quarter back alone Hes still my man. I wanna see you post once the playoff starts and we are never one and done!
Playoffs us, cmon really ?
The Steelers lost so we are just one game back from 1st place in the AFC North. After the bye, and with are o-line healthy again, we will begin to win games and peak at the perfect moment to make it to the playoffs. Heck, we have an "Elite QB" who's a SB champion leading the team. Go Ravens!!!!!
A sizable problem is the lack of a consistent running game and receiver fingers that catch and hold the ball at the most critical time.
Patterns of performance equal momentum. We are stacking up a whole lot of negative momentum. One pattern in particular that is becoming quite noticeable and intolerable is the weekly parade of rhetoric that explains and excuses, once again, a very bad performance.
Very Good That was a contrite accurate statement.

Just two years ago he battled The Great Deflator and his cheating head coach for a chance to go to the AFC championship. Last year is hardly a fair year for comparison purposes considering both his injury, and the triage ward that was the Ravens locker room. Yes, this year has been tough. But much of that can be laid at the feet of the offensive line. They have simply not played at a level that is sufficient for success in the NFL. SIX RUSHING YARDS ... A 49 yard rush called back for holding - and it was a valid flag on Lewis. Zuttah was being blown backwards off the line and twice tripped Flacco because of it.
I'm not convinced they can't turn this around. As mentioned elsewhere, they are only a game back in the division. Also, every single game this year was withing their capacity to win. They have decent talent on the squad. But they need to get some key people healthy, and start having some breaks go their way. If either blatant pass interference gets flagged - the one in the endzone at the end of the first half where they grabbed Mike Wallace's arm well before the ball arrived , or the frontal assault on Chris Moore at the end of the game - It's a different ball game. If Jernigan downs the ball for a touchback it's a very different game.I could not agree anymore. Hopefully after the bye Stanley and Yanda return, and Zuttah gets replaced by Urschel. If CJ returns with SS Sr. and Matt Elam replaces Ladarius Webb the Ravens do have a chance only 1 game out with the Steelers loss. Heck Suggs might be back too leading our Defense. Coach Castillo has had so many lineup changes the unit has not been able to thrive. The bye couldn't have come at a better time. Go Ravens!!!
When the Steelers game comes lets see of Joe can lead once again.
Joe is in a rut and only he can get himself out of it. The O-line is sub par and seems unfixable at this point. Joe can look at his bank account and see why he has no protection. Many of us realized this might happen when they gave him that fat contract after the SB. He struck while the iron was hot and now he is paying for that as he should. And so are the fans that are paying to watch his sorry butt go through the motions each week. Time to step off and sell Fords for a living Joe.
Joe did great in 014 with Kubiak. We had a parade of injuries and other complications. The problem is Joe can't deliver at the right moment. He can own a Ford franchise partnership with his money Since you mentioned a car dealership> In my area Hamilton Honda has tremendous success with Jesse Armstead (retired Giants) money.
This game gave us what the NFL has as its most relevant condition. Penalties, fan frustration and horrible tackling. Joe should have rested his shoulder and the O line ought to pay for everyone's dinner for the remainder of the season for its inept running game. When our beloved team rushes for 6 yards and our injured QB has to throw 44 times then we should all take a break and ignore the RAVENS for a couple of weeks. It's like we as fans are on the IR from losing the last four games. I suggest a gorging of MLB. It will set my passion for baseball and the the CUBS (since the O's are on vacation).
The 1-6 Jets have a chance to win. They are going to play the team that smothers itself in penalties and can't score when it has too. All they have to do is hang around and be within two scores in the 4th Q. That is what kills us. We can't capitalize and we play to the competition. We better win as 3-4 with a week off is bad for morale and gives the Steelers more confidence.
I'm not accepting the O line injuries as an excuse for the 3 losses. Many of the scoring plays failed.
Do we really need Jackson??
...and the definition of insanity is...??? Why not bring back Brookes--he would have laid the wood to ODB instead of watching him run by!
Webb looked really really bad.
Man this is beginning to feel a lot like 2015 all over again.
We can aim for .500 and that would be better than expected. Webb looked really bad as his work at safety against Beckham looked terrible

With Wallace playing his original NFL team, I'll bet he will have a good day. Since it the Steelers, I predict a 13-10 game with the FG punched through within 3 minutes of the game's end.
