LMAO, Yeah buddy. Right after he chucks the TV off the balcony!!
Grew up with Joe Walsh music. I saw his bands many times including the James Gang. I'm a bassist and we always had a JG tune in the set. Check out Daryls' house on Utube. Daryl Hall from Hall and Oats features musicians in his personal recording studio. The one with Walsh is legendary. Also, James Gang Live is useful to blast through the house for come from behind games. I wish M&T played classic rock/funk instead of the monodrome chant we always hear
Punters are players too!.....Finally, Koch got his recognition he deserved.....
They have always been players. The rest of the team gets the dirt on their uni but the punter gets all the pressure on and off the field.
So glad he is finally getting the recognition that he deserves. GO RAVENS!
Budman knows. Get a cold one bro
Looking at the comments it is clear you just cant make some fans happy. If he kicks inside the 20, its because the offense stalled close to the 50 and it was easy however, being ranked 5th in net yard discludes that pessimism or he'd have a 30 yard average. Or that he missed one or two punts, but once again, being in the top 5 in punts inside the 20, also net yards and only two touchbacks discludes that he does this regularly or his average, touchbacks and kicks inside the 20 wouldnt be that good. Please, its a bye week, take a bye on the negative comments. After all, the only punter in the HOF is Ray Guy, and he shanked punts every now and then also.
Man that was a complicated explaination but right on. As you know, on our forum, if he screwed up like the secondary during the Bengals and Steelers losses, he would be a ideal target for the merciless ones. Quick.. for Bonus points... What was Ray Guys number?? AND who was your favorite Raider of the 70's Mine was Phil Villapiano-I was an old Raiders fan-proving I am old as dirt
I always like to see Sam Koch trot onto the field when we have to punt; not because I like to punt, but just because I know that he is going to be successful and limit a return, with a big chance of pinning the opponent deep or getting a no-return. True, we don't want to have to punt, but if you do have to punt, I like my chances with Koch.
Well said and so true
Koch is a member of the wolf pack. He is also Mr. Coffin Corner.
That avatar you have: Is it Joe Walsh at 5 in the morning?
The important punter. Very few of us realize how vital this position is. Field position places your team in the advantagous field position or disaster when his punt is blocked, My ultimate example is the Miami Dolphin Garo Yapremian kick in the 70's. The most horrible ridiculous circumstance of events happened to him. Check that out on Utube for a good laugh.
Tragic that HBO ruined Boardwalk Empire's final season. Everything's been so crambed up these final episodes, it's ridiculous.
Finale is next week but it won't even matter..... Great show. I'd put the first 4 seasons up there next to breaking bad but not quite, breaking bad.....Had the potential to be a lot greater though.
I've never seen a show rush to finish the story so quickly. It's skipping parts in previous trailers. Smh
Yea. However Breaking Bad is absolutley totally unique. Who would set a machine gun in a vintage Caddy trunk on an auto belt and waste dudes in a blood splatter scene. Now that is entertainment. Of course I envision that same intensity in a Ravens waste Pittsburgh game.
Yea.. Shouldn't have anything now
Maybe I'm just creative because I'm married to Lindsey duke?
You did it man. Lindsey Duke hitch with a Pre nup. The Massi pre nup Ironclad. (George Cluney)
Codizzle's response is accurate.
I went main stream with Juszczyk and you two are the creative ones
Na it's mine.. He just paid me 35 bucks to let him use it as his avatar for a couple weeks
See and thats why you post more images than your allowed to. lol
That one looks really good, and it's another priority. I felt like the full 30 for 30s were better suited to the Movie thread, but I found that series pretty hit or miss - where the hits and misses are both pretty spectacular. The Band That Wouldn't Die, The Ghosts of Ole Miss or the Two Escobars were three brilliant ones imo, while I didn't like Once Brothers or Little Big Men, and don't get me started on the self-congratulatory drivel that was The House of Steinbrenner.
I hear you Do you have your Ravens' flags in full glory today? What an excellent win...
Seriously. This clown on AHS can go now. That's honestly one of the creepiest things I've seen.
Dude. That beautiful chick on your avatar. Is that your wife?
Just been binge-watching the ESPN 30 for 30 short films. The one about the Herschel Walker trade has just been put on Grantland (12 minutes and it's mostly Jimmy Johnson talking about how the trade went down) and I found it really interesting.
Others I liked:
*Fields of Fear - about Mackey Sasser dealing with the yips.
*Cutthroat - Clint Malarchuck and life after getting his throat slashed open on the ice. It was really haunting to see him open up, but it was really well done. He came back 11 days after the injury and it wrecked his career.
*The Schedule Makers - how a married couple used to make the MLB schedule with a pen and paper. Orioles fans in particular will quite enjoy that.
*The Deal - Alex Rodriguez and the trade to Boston, and how it got scuppered and he went to the Yankees. Hate those guys, but I enjoyed the documentary.
*The T206 Honus Wagner - tells a fun story in a dramatic way without overdoing it imo.
I really wanted to watch Disdain the Mundane (about the Knicks of the '70s) and Silver Reunion (the Olympic basketballers who didn't show up to the medal ceremony) but I can't find them on YouTube.
The episode "i worked for the mob" regarding the Boston College points shaving scandel with Henry Hill (Good Fellas). I knew the Sweeney family and Jim who was a sports legend in my old Trenton neighborhood. That was an interesting episode. 30 for 30 is an excellent series. Good Mentions Great Post
I have a 1971 Nova. It is a Lime Green (SS Clone) with a black vinyl top, Jade interior, with the Magnum 500 style Chevy Rally wheels. Pretty much everything has been replaced with new replica parts. It is set up for racing with adjustable coilovers in the front, frame connectors, Ford nine inch rear with .370 gears and Cal Tracs bars. I just dropped a new Blueprint engines 396 small block Chevy roller cam motor in it dynoed at 494 HP and 521 Torque, 350 Turbo Trans. I wish I could download photos. Mods have sent me instructions, but I am still too computer challenged to figure it out.
Man I would love to see that picture. However your descript is awesome.
I can not wait to get a new car myself, at this point my Cobalt is a death trap waiting to happen lol. Stupid recall which the dealership still hasn't even got the part in to fix it. After all the cars GM has been recalling, I'm moving on from GM, and I have always been a Chevy guy. Been looking at a Toyota or a Ford. Leaning toward the Corolla over the Fusion, but I do know I do not want anymore GM cars lol.
Anyone else drive a Cobalt or any of the other GM recalled vehicles and still waiting for their parts to come in?
My ex daughter in law drives one. She is narcisstic. Serves her right to have that car. I have an 012 Honda Accord. It is great I paid 18,600 with certified status with 12,300 miles on it. Go for that. Can't miss. Number one for resale.
It was a miserable rainy Saturday in OC for the Endless Summer Car Cruise weekend. However, they did not disappoint today......they tore up the asphalt on Coastal Highway! I can't wait until that third weekend in May to go down and do it again. I guess it is time to put the fuel stabilizer in my Nova for its long winter nap.
What year is your Nova? I had a 305 73 chocolate brown with white half vinyl top. I wish I had money to buy all the cars I wanted after the 73 oil embargo. i would mop up 66 and 67 GTO's, 65 to 67 Vettes, 66 to 69 Mustangs and a few 68 Chevelles. If I had 50 large in those days I could sit nice with 500K or more now.
I can't drive a muscle car anymore. You know married, kids, grandchildren and seeking vested retirement. Once had a 67 Cutlass, 64 Dynamic 88, 73 Nova.
I caved in a bought a used 01 Subaru (now in my neighbors' possession including all Ravens details)
> Now I am plain vanilla drivin a 012 Honda Accord (but I did trip it out so there is no other like it) featuring purple running lights, LED light set by Rigid Industries, with interior round rocker switch placed strategically so as to illuminate outside the side door mirror frame at night. Door mouldings additional trim on doors, front bumper & trunk lid. Interior dark wood dash kit and interior purple accent lighting. Sorry I can't improve the engine or structure but at least I have an original car reflecting my Ravens (rear deck and license holders as well) .
Wish list. Wish I had a 67 GTO in GM Maroon, two doors with Hurst shifter and a non working 8 track player.
.

American Horror Story starts anew tonight!!!
What channel?
I request a moderator start your five favorite football players of all time prior to 1995. Since these guys were on NFL films I have that show in my all time favorites list.
May I introduce Mad Dog Mike Curtis, Art Donovan, Phil Villapiano, Dick Butkus and Art Tatum. It is so hard to keep it to five
Sons of Anarchy is totally dark. When I'm into it I rent Breaking Bad and watch them one after another Do you all agree it was the best show ever with Cheers a distant distant second.
