Blazers host Raptors  Finally, a Canadian basketball team we all can fear.  We are 25-7  They are 24-7 winning 7 out of last 8   I'll try to stay awake for this one. My Blazers are playing lights out

The ultimate season topic was poor play of the secondary.  Finally we have some positive spin.  That crew is vital to our future marching into this game and the one beyond.

I hear ya. The Spurs just need to get healthy. Patty Mills was huge for them coming off the bench (I would know). The way I see it, they could easily go on some winning streak at some point after the All-Star break.

They will go on a streak and then starters will get their rest for the next one.

In his first showing he played better than Elam in the whole season.

If he can play as "replacement Jimmy' for this season he should earn a position with "Top Jimmy" in the next.  (Top Jimmy   Van Halan  >One of the best songs they ever created)

Nightman said the Rams are ranked 31st in value.  A move to LA would enhance the future asset wealth of the ownership. LA is a major market that deserves football once again.

Is there a possibility of creating two more franchises raising the number to 34???  If that would be feasible a team in LA and London is not far fetched.

We'll see if mavs can keep/develop that chemistry with rondo.. Completely different player than Nelson

Grizzles stop the win streak. Marc Gasol deserves a bit part in an Old Spice Commercial.  I hope OKC stays mediocre.

Not really much of a story. When I started to follow the NBA, I instantly tried to follow a team close to Montana. It was either the Blazers, Jazz, or the Nuggets (Sonics weren't around). Something about the Blazers I became a fan of them instantly. Even when they had their down years, I still rooted for them though my friends would scoff at me for liking them. Now that they're good, it's either crickets I hear from them or just respect.

They lost, first time in 9.  I wish we could do a 9 game win streak like that.  Actually, I believe that is what we need for the SB.

As Clyde Drexler would say "No doubt about it"..  I always was a fanatic and would get so involved in Blazers games that I would scream and yell at the TV, see them in Philly when I could, try to convert the clueless.   I always anticipated a Lakers Blazers game.   Whats your story?

This thread is old but relevant now as 12 games in the season reveals team strengths. 

I have always been a Blazers fan from the days of Clyde,Buck,Terry,Jerome and Kevin. 

They are off to a fabulous start with OKC in the gutter.

Poor Sixers as they need help or are planning to lose for another draft pick.  

LOL, I second all that... please... no more "Whiskey in a Jar-o" crap in the stadium... surely, you can pick out approx. 100 other Metallica songs that are much better suited for the stadium environment!

I dig your grim reaper raven. We ought to have them instead of the retro fitness male cheer leaders that come out at game intro with Metallica blasting the horns. .
