    So I start watching the Magic vs Lakers today and we're getting blown out by halftime. I get a few things done around the house and watch NZ's Sevens quarterfinal against Australia and come back to see us catch up with them and win with a fairly emphatic overtime. It's only the Lakers (whom I hate), but that's not really a win to turn down. Our home record has been pretty dreadful too, so any win there helps.

     

    Also, coach Jacque Vaughn got fired this week. I was all for giving him the rest of the season, but some of his weird rotations and that double-digit losing streak (not to mention losing a lot of games where we had a strong lead at some point) eventually made a sceptic out of me. Sounds like George Karl is a quality candidate to replace him, and it's not often an established coach with a clear philosophy goes out of his way to show an interest in taking over a losing team, so I'd love to see us move for him fairly quickly.

    > We get to play the Lakers soon and if we display the same inept game as in Dallas many Blazer fans will salute the televsion with a good stiff business finger.

    What a choke job that was. I could not believe that actually happened.....

     

    If there was ever a team that was the epitome of "overrated," it's the Clippers. I'm still trying to figure out how they're "title contenders."

    If any of you witnessed the Blazers-Mavs debacle, then you know the meaning of stupid rotation and really bad coaching. Terry Stotts should have his drivers license revoked. Nowitski personally nailed our feet to the floor.  I will now bestow him the honor and title of M.R.Clutch

    My Blazers got off their Keisters to handle the Jazz.  Tonight the Suns  want their 4th win over us. With Lopez back the confidence has arrived.  Batum needs Lopez to improve his game. Dame needs a streak touch to handle his adversary in the  backcourt

    Blazers in bad shape.  Aldridge out with a radial collaterial ligament tear in the left thumb.  He needs surgery  Top rebounder and scorer.   Batum out with a right wrist injury  Freeland with a shoulder and Lopez out with a hand injury. I hate Losing and with key players on the bench I'm feeling real bad  At least we have a small cushion of games in the division. That Boston loss by one point hurt

    I like Portland but they lost Aldridge and already they're playing without Lopez, that can hurt them. 

    Aldrige can return.  However, a non descript player is taking his place  Just like the Ravens  Next man up. Lopez only needs to sponser a barbering event for his crazy hairstyle to support the team in some charitable exercise.   ha

    Looks like the bench needs to be worked on...yet again.

    Damn  A dilemma!!   Hey I got a really cool 06-07 opening night Wells Fargo center cap and a #24 Miller away jersey  Total cost through ebay $25 bucks  I look really good with them on and usually do without them on.  haha   Check out ebay for some really cool Blazers stuff  Hope we take out the Celtics tonight   All with you Bro..  Post a concert you liked on my Concert non Ravens topic section.

    I witnessed the worst tackling in this player.  It was evident through the year. He may have been decent against the Browns but not on the season.  It would not upset me if he moved on. There are 35 FA's for secondary and safety positions. The college draft holds more.  The NE game revealed how vulnerable our unit is no matter what natural position or injury status is evident. In my opinion, all secondary members should be looking behind their shoulder (no pun intended)  and placed on the hot seat except for Jimmy Smith.

    Time to add the Clippers to my NBA temporary hate list.

    We play SA Spurs tonight.   Tough road trip coming up.    I just bought a great early 90's warm up jacket and a early 90's old school jacket to add to my vast collection.  Time to apply my Blazers decals on the car glass again.  

    Gotta be careful... The wife may go on a toss out clothing parade and I don't want my prizes discovered and vandalized. lol

    Yes  My Blazers are playing fantastic.  Tonight they play the LA Clippers (a strange logo and dull uniform). I think they are one of the exciting teams to watch in the NBA   Many people despise the slow pagan drum beat circus organ background they hear in many areans  The Knicks are the worst.  In Portland they Rip  Dom Knows

    If you want pure guitar genious listen to Russ Freeman of the Rippingtons "Live" circa 1994.  He never misses a note and his lead phrasing is impecable.
