Yep, no more gints. I have a friend who is a fan and that was for him.

I wondered if fate had turned our way and we beat the Jets, Giants, Skins, Oakland and finally the  Steelers and Bengals.  With only 2 losses we could have given SSS, Wallace, Perriman, Jus  and Aiken some fun in the post season.  With our luck we would let Miami in the game and made heart anxiety another Ravens fan trademark.

Are you serious? The Steelers no way. I'm voting for the Chiefs or either sometbody in the NFC besides Dallas because l don't want them to talk about how great Dallas is blah blah blah especially Skip Bayless.

I turn off the volume when that useless announcer talks   It was better when he was with Steven A, so I could ignore both at one time. Did either of them ever play sports? They probably were debate team studs

I agree that nobody was duped by Flacco.

However I disagree that he's not getting HoF money. He IS getting HOF money. His contract is comparable to Rodgers, Brees, and Brady- all of whom are definitely HOF calibre QBs. The difference is that they consistently play at a HOF level whereas Flacco only did it for 4 games in Jan/Feb 2013. Neither before nor since that postseason run has Joe played four straight games anywhere near that level. Especially since 2012, he has been below average. The widening disparity between his salary and his performance have fans growing more and more frustrated, and IMO we have a right to feel angry with him.

.......We don't pay the checks.  Let Biscotti suffer.

  4. For my Ravens team: You played with no heart, did not give effort for Steve Smith and John Harbaugh.   .0.   You  settled to be an average team. Your fans expect better and were given the fodder of the season in an ugly spineless loss.

This team did not deserve the playoffs.  The Pittsburgh team will advance because they have willpower and goals.

If we had a miracle last week and played like yesterday's  embarrassment, we would never make it through New England anyway.

I agree.  The less money you have to tie up in your slow average / below average quarterback, the more money you have to spend on other positions.  He is too needy and sub par to demand such high pay.  Nothing more than greed at best!!!

It was Biscotti that opted to pay and his checkbook hurts more than our feelings.  This year both D and O were equal to blame.  Week 15 was  clearly a D problem.  Within a minute we experienced No effective Rush, No mid filed defenders and absolutely there should not have been an AB#84 at the half yard line.

Well Maxx is only a blocker because he's only been used as a blocker. In an ideal offense, he's a pass catcher primarily. Boyle and Gillmore would be your blocking TEs, and Waller is emerging into a legitimate red zone threat in the passing game.

Rostering five TEs seems unlikely, and Pitta is far and away the most expensive of them all.

Again, hard to sell getting value out of Pitta at a $5.5M salary.

What plans are there for Ben Watson?

That would be much easier if Waller, Williams, Boyle and Gilmore actually made more of an impact this year, which none of them have, with the exception of Waller and his impact was minimal. Gilmore and Williams had a very disappointing year this season, especially Williams who didn't even record a catch and Gilmore who didn't do much, both guys have injury concerns as well and its becoming a trend. Now if you're recommending that we employ someone to step up at TE than okay, but I don't think we will gamble at TE and WR, not after the year the offense had.

If Pitta fails to win the starting job at camp, then you know one of those guys will make an impact, if he does then that tells you that none of those guys are the solution.

    Add Watson to the formula.

And what if he takes a significant pay cut? Is he worth keeping for his veteran presence and connection with Joe in that case?

Yep, doom is as good as gone..and I've got no problem with it. He's been on the steady decline and I expect next year to be a major dropoff.

Paycuts for pitta, Webb. Resign Wagner, guy, juice. 2nd round Tender for Orr. Cut doom, arrington, KLewis, possibly ZSmith ( or hope he had a sophmore slump)

    Let Bwill walk.

Bring back Wallace and take a chance with him and Perriman being your number 1 and 2 while bringing in a serviceable FA such as Garcon...but rely more on the Running game.  Bring in a veteran Center.

Draft priorities: PASS RUSH PASS RUSH PASS RUSH, CB, BPA

All very doable and would easily get us back into contention.

I believe we would be in contention this year if we beat the Jets, Giants, Redskins and Raiders.  We had a chance in Dallas and NE.  That proves coaching flaws are more prevalent than player mistakes.

Going into flacco's 10th season why is WR still a huge question mark ?

We all thought this year that would not be a question. All the posts in pre season touted a vaunted WR core.  For the football life of me I do not understand why The O staff can't deploy a shotgun formation for Joe Flacco. If Joe wants to last as long as Brady, that is what needs to be done.  I feel for SSS. This was probably his last season.

I've always really wanted to see LeBron with a true facilitator like Chris Paul. I think that would be an absolutely lethal offense.

My choice for top 5 are Lebron, Curry, Westbrook, Paul and Lillard
