It would be funny, but I think the other two scenarios would be even better IMO.

Looks like Warriors again!!!  At least they get to the finals and subsequent rounds,.

Well, there's a lot of teams that have 10 good players and no QB, and they aren't winning anything.

I mean you literally just described the Houston Texans entire franchise for like the last 5 years.

    What have they done?

Its actually easy to find 10 good players when you don't have a QB. The problem is... that doesn't really translate into winning. Its why you're looking back 16 years ago to reference the last time we did that.

We had a bunch of really good players during the entire 2000s, and we only got one Lombardi. Not to mention the fact there were many seasons where we had some All-World players and we were a straight up bad football team.

People think these Broncos teams happen all the time. They don't. If they did, then why did largely the same group of players not even make the playoffs this year after winning the SB last season, especially when the QB apparently doesn't matter? You mean there aren't 10 good players on the Broncos?

Wake up guys. If you don't have even a competent QB, you've got nothing. There's franchises that have spent decades looking for somebody as good as Joe, and they're still losing and trying on an annual basis.

The proof positive is Tom Brady.  Besides that, he is blessed with schemes and expert game planning from a genius coach and his staff. .

I was JUST gonna say it really depends on the team. Let's use Torrey Smith as an example. He went to a team who offered him a contract worth $5M more overall (IIRC?). The same team who's been inferior to us since 2014 (yes I know they beat us in 2015). Maybe them offered a more prominent role than we did? Beats me, but whatever.

I believe the basis for decision is on roster space, age, tax benefits in the State the team is located and coach appreciation.

Thanks for giving an actual breakdown.  I was unsure who was under contract and who was not.

I agree with most, for one of two reasons, 1) It has good reasoning 2) I have no clue but it sounds good to me.

I disagree with the following.  Chris Matthews. He has been just too MEH.
Matt Elam I think he will get a low ball offer from the Ravens, but he will go elsewhere for more money but not much more.
I think Aiken stays though, although you are likely right, I think Ozzie will put forth some effort to keep him.  I am not sure what the market will put on him.  Either way, no surprise if he is not a Raven nest year, no surprise if he is.
Lastly I think Pitta stays.  He and Joe are clearly in love, and it works well.  No need to upset that love boat.

    Zach Orr cannot play anymore.

Harbs and marshall actually have a good relationship an he was open to trading for him in the past but IF is a big word but IF Marshall hits free agency he's 80% likely to come here but ultimately it doesn't matter who we get its how they play on the field look at chris hogan at the beginning of the year no one knew who he was so hopefully we can find some hidden gems somewhere

I like your Brandon Marshall idea.

  6.  This is the only site where anyone will defend JF.  It should have been Boldin in the route instead of Evans  We win.  No need for Cardiff to blow it

2014  The D failed on that trick play to the wide out  and this year we should have scored a TD rather than a FG  and also made a FG in the Steelers game

I blame it ALL on COACHING.  Hate to admit this but Bellichick has it all over everyone else.

  7. How Ironic: Biscotti regreted trading Anquan Boldin.  Playoffs: If we had him  catching that ball in 2011 instead of Evans fate would be different.  If we had him in 2013, he could have been the x factor to win those last two games.  If we had him in 2014 he could have made a TD to help break out and advance.  If we had him in 2017, he could produce just as he did for the Lions. Since we had a senior retiring this team ought to grab a guy that can crash opposition rather than stand there and catch a third and out.   Boldin is the guy!
