If I was the coach i would use Reynolds . He a multipurpose player and a Navy revenue maker. An experienced QB, intelligent Navy man and surefire promotion catalyst I would use him in all the pre season games. Option B: For competition use Camp and see who screws up or injures himself.
On the house(one flag pole) and separate ones on the car if you want ( good creative thinking)
Its tough to choose but we are well stocked at CB and Powers may be on the PS although he had played well in practice.
Flacco better start throwing the ball a little deeper or it's going to be picked off. He's been under throwing receivers for some time. He should drop it to them in stride, so they don't have to fight, wait, or come back for it.
Good Point. See, Jersey guys know more than cursing and drinking ,
That was a Jimmy mistake that led to a Wallace completion However, I hope more of that happens with the regular season
For Md. fans it feels great having two teams on the rise. Here I am, a homer for the O's and Ravens, who has two pennants on one flag pole. No Yankees, Giants fan copied me yet. BTW: The common Mets/Jets fan actually exists on the streets of NJ........
8 hours ago, Ravensfan23 said:No he didn't play, he returned to practice the day before the game I believe. He'll certainly play this game if he remains healthy. Also before his injury he was sai to be performing well.
As for Price, I think the team really likes him. Not sure there is space for both he and Canady as those long lengthy CBs behind Jimmy, but I really think they want to have two guys with size on the outside at CB. They thought they had it with Melvin but he didn't work out. I really think Price has a great shot to make the team and he'll have to play his way off the team imo.
It'll be hard to cut either of Brooks or Elam imo, especially if those young guys continue to make plays. They finally have a guy in Weddle to learn from and they seem to be responding well to it. I'm not saying neither guy is cut, but I certain think either one of them would be kept over Levine.
I really love Levine's versatility. But sometimes being a jack of all trades isn't as good when you don't have at least one defined role. Now he is a great Special Teams player and Harbs loves his ST units but is that enough? In years past I would say yes, but this year Idk. While many think the news of the Ravens using him at ILB is good, I don't. I just see that as another jack of all trades move to see if you can find a spot for him. If he was a legit option at Safety there is no way you move him to ILB imo.
For the Ravens,,,,Not a bad place to be in......
Finally Keenan Reynolds gets the great practice catch. My Opinion . He is an asset as he can catch, play QB if needed and be a possible return player. Besides all that, the Ravens can have Navy day and feature him of the beverage cups . The marketing department could rally more fans and gate tickets with that promo.
Funny pages out trumps a trump quote.
We need a cheerleader edition for all the loyal fans ++
If only we had Mallet as #2 last year rather than Schawb. When I sat through that debacle in Miami my son and I realized he was washed up.
I love Forsett but I just dont see him making the team. He is a great guy and should get another chance to play but with Allen and Dixon guaranteed to make the 53 we only have room for one more RB and West is not only younger but also the cheaper option. Unfortunately living across the country I dont get to see them practice, so i can only go off what i read and even though Forsett has the leadership its West that has shown up to win the starting job.
If you guys think we keep 4 RBs what position do you think will take the hit? I have us taking 6 WRs and 4 TEs. I couldn't justify cutting one of them for Forsett..
Well be prepared to be wrong. Absolutely no way in hell forsett doesn't make the 53 unless he gets injured. We will keep 4 tight ends and 4 running backs- somewhere else will just have to take the hit. No way we go into the season with 3 unproven backs all of whom have never put up over 800 yards. Just not feasible. Who knows- crock might not be ready for week 1 so we may only carry 3 tight ends at first anyway. Alot of maneuvering will happen when people get healthy and come off of suspension etc.
Forsett on the PS??!!.... I believe in West will be there. JS gave us hope in 014 but last year his injury stopped optimism for 016
He can't say that. Forsett has not been in a game condition in 016
Henry and Judon are surprises. I hope they can keep up the good work and earn spots on the 53 or at least PS
I was happy for a win no matter if it is pre season game 1. The rookies have to hold their edge in away games such as the colts game, for guys to jump on the band wagon.
he'll go against the best, week in and week out and around week 10,he'll hit a mighty big wall and since we didn't bring in LONG as a tutor and to pick up the slack when STANLEY gets injured trying to push himself,we're screwed.
Don't jinx us with an injury. We had enough last year. Does it really matter if Long was his tutor? The O line Coach has that responsibility.
His demeanor, character and well spoken attributes have me comparing him to Johnathan Ogdan
He was a bust in Cleveland and then Indy and he is INJURED I don't see him here
Oh how I would love for Z'Smith to be a sack-master and completely out-class the Steelers' Bud Dupree. We could always use more material to brag about. (Z.Smith and Dupree were both teammates at Kentucky, though Dupree went in the first due to H/W/S potential while Z.Smith went of day 3 despite having better production).
Good point
Zman will rule the line.......
HE WANTS a job. GOOD for him Jus is my top guy but he is going to get hiot like that plenty of times this year.
KA needs competition to get to the I got It level., I hope he succeeds
smh, c'mon injury gods go bug the steelers, bengals and brady
I think they did. It was just our turn. I hope he recovers quickly. The Ravens will be fine.
Yeah...The other teams should get their share! It is amazing how durable Brady is. Due to the short dump passes and his O line he succeeds......
Really? No doctor, but bone breaks heal way way quicker than tendon or ligament tears, I am surprised they're counting him out for the whole year.

You are correct in a sense, but broken bones can vary in how they actually broke. A clean break is the best case you can hope for in all situations, or next best is a compound fracture which is multiple clean breaks, then there is the fragmented fractures where the bone has broken in many small pieces kinda like glass shattering. I know about this topic since my brother broke his leg when he was younger and the doctor was knowledgeable and shared the info.
All that being said, depending on the type of break he sustained and add in the fact the location is the ankle and requires a lot of functional strength to hold up to the rigors of NFL life, a season gone is not so far fetched. The other half is that he will most likely be healed before the seasons end but then you gotten figure time in to re-strengthen the muscle since he won't be using them for several months. That really does not leave much room for getting back for some game time.
The smart approach is to say do not rush back and potentially risk re-injury, as they have so far indicated. There is no pressing need for him to be rushing back either as two others who dealt with similar issues will now be in the running for those reps, Urban and Lewis-Moore who have show play making ability, plus they still have Guy who has been a very solid and dependable player. You're right, hopefully it is a clean break. Would be great if he could at least get some reps in this year.
I agree its better to break a bone (with area and critical condition considered) than a ligament tear. I played basketball when I had Brown hair and the sprain/ligament damage is a very difficult recovery. The one important factor is he will have the sports specialist doctors.
This will give him time to know the playbook inside and out plus get some tutoring from some of the vets during the season so he can hit the ground running next year. Not great news of course but sustainable this year.
No more serious injuries, I feel we've met our quota :-)
Wish our quota was 0.

Hold on Bro SSS is not a PR. Why decimate the CB core? The fair catch idea is absent of deception Use a new face...
