Watson's deal for 8mil is a bargain. Overall, in sports, the most ludicrous deal was 75 mil for FA Alan Crabbe from Portland to the Nets. Crabbe was a bench player the year before. Watson will be very important as the season starts.

For the TE squad I think Waller and Boyle are on the outside looking in. Watson will be to us like Bennett is to NE. Durable successful players are what make a championship team.

I don't think you quite know what "deepest" means if you say they have the deepest group with JUST Gronk lol. Deepest implies depth, not talent at the top of the depth chart. You are right. However, the system NE uses allows Gronk to be formidable. He has more opportunities than any other TE in the league. He is a match up nightmare.

With NE using Gronk and Bennett we have to use our TE's in the same format and hold the best players no matter what. If we can elevate ourselves to the 014 team status and enter playoffs then stacking the team for offense is my preference.
