Nice try Eisenberg. Taken a player(s) with diluted samples for likely weed is not the same as them taken a Joe Mixon like the Bengals. Bonefied stud who could vastly improve our team.

At some point you must stop punishing the fanbase for Rice situation, afterall Rice has turned into a great citizen.

Cmon man you and all the Ravens fans Should know we will not take any player that remotely resembles Ray Rice , and Mixon (Watch that tape) committed a violent act against a women that is just as bad as Rice , maybe worse. I do not feel punished due to the Ravens not drafting Mixon what he did is low life , and he shouldn't play in the NFL, that goes for Rice Hardy or whoever decides to treat Women that way, Grow up.. its just a game...

  2. John, Do you really believe that the Ravens would have wanted Burfict on this team????? I, for one, disagree with that synopsis that they might want that decision back.

I think there are enough guys on this team, that they can help to guide Tim Williams into a better situation. Maybe this opportunity is one that he appreciates and will work to improve on.

    WELCOME TO BALTIMORE TIM.

But your information isn't as reliable, because you're not actually READING the information.

My information is based on what he's actually done in the past (i.e. waiting until July to sign last year to avoid the offseason program) and based on what other reporters have said.

Your information seems to based on a 2014 article that you either didn't read, or read the title and THOUGHT that it said that he was interested in returning to Baltimore to play for the Ravens.

That's not reliable information. That's you wanting an article to say something that it doesn't say, also known as being manipulative. That's what you did.

All you have is the Ravens want him back. That's it. Don't bother responding, because you have no further insight or information. to add to this.

Of course I'm not reading it...  SMH.....  move on now.

Statement from him saying that? No, you haven't seen that. Just like you haven't seen him say that he wants to play for the Ravens.

Reports from people around the NFL? Yes, you've seen plenty of those. Plenty of those have indicated he won't sign until close to training camp.

Here's one in particular that references their expectation that he won't sign until June or July.

What I said was a guess. It was also an EDUCATED one. There en lies the difference.

So yours is an educated one.... and everybody else's on here is not.  Come on man.  Lots of us have read the very same articles. Like I said, based on information that has been reported and what is out there we are making guesses just like you are.  You're condescending comments are not quite so intimidating to me.  My information is as reliable as yours.  Just have fun and move on.

The grade I give Ozzie and Co. in the draft is an "A" ! But can Joe get us going or is it going to be another year of unnecessary finger pointing and excuse after excuse why Joe can't get us in the endzone blaming the O line or WRs! Ozzie and Co . get A's every year but it up to Joe to make it come together! Bellichick can get players from very small schools because he has Brady but people want Ozzie and Co. to go out and get all these big name players with big price tags! The goal is to win a Super Bowl with the lowest payroll! The Squeelers just started spending money on players and the pats are practicing the same method!

ACTUALLY, The O-Line really has been AWFUL for the past 2 or 3 years.

    1. The first article (from 2014, which makes it kind of hard to be relevant to 2017), references his desire to play AGAINST the Ravens, not his desire to resign with them.

    2. I don't understand the point of the second article you posted. All it says is that Harbaugh wants him back.

We know this. Its been regurgitated over and over and over and over and over again by the fans who don't know what year it is.

Show me the article where Boldin says he's interested in returning to Baltimore. Because last I checked, its not up to Harbaugh. Harbaugh can want anybody he wants... it doesn't matter if that person doesn't want him.

As I've said many times... I wouldn't come back if I were him. Detroit's in a better position to win than we are right now, and so are other teams that could easily use his services.

Maybe he does sign with us. It would certainly surprise me. Because I can't answer the "why".

Ya' know Jacket..  Unless it's spelled right out there for ya' sometimes you just don't get it.  CAN'T FANS HAVE SOME FUN WITH THIS?  Everything has to be so darned serious.

The second article points out that the organization is open to him returning...  The first article clearly states that he would be open to returning.  Old or not, if he decided to return, it would be possible.

AND...  like I said 3 days ago..  His jersey number did just become available.

No, he's waiting until the summer so he doesn't have to go through an offseason program with a team, mostly because he probably doesn't want to.

Note that he didn't resign with the Lions until late July last year... that's almost 3 months after the draft. Not a coincidence that it falls in line with when training camps begin.

That's when you'd expect him to make a decision.

So again, that would be "your guess"...  Just sayin'  NOWHERE have I seen that statement.

Free agent Anquan Boldin is undecided on playing football in 2017.
Boldin stated after Detroit's playoff loss that he would like to play another year, but he may be having second thoughts at age 36. Per Lions.com's Tim Twentyman, Boldin is "open to returning" to Detroit if he indeed keeps playing. Boldin's playmaking ability evaporated long ago, but he can still help an offense on third downs and in the red zone. He caught eight TDs in 2016.

ESPN's Jim Trotter reports free agent WR Anquan Boldin will return for his 15th season.
Boldin played for the Lions last year, but the Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett has "heard" Boldin may want to remain close to his Florida home. The veteran caught 67 passes for 584 yards and eight touchdowns in 2016. Still a useful possession and red-zone target, Boldin will be an asset wherever he lands.

So you've got two different things here (neither of which has anything to do with Baltimore). One report from February indicating he'd like to return to Detroit, and another in March indicating he'd like to play closer to home in Florida.

What we don't have whatsoever is any indication that he wants to return to Baltimore.

except there were articles like this that came out in 2014 and thereafter indicating such...

Or he could just resign with Detroit, who also wants him back. All indications so far is that's precisely what will happen.

We're not the only team looking for a veteran chain mover, and there are several of them that can pitch the "come here and compete to win a SB" concept better than the Ravens can at this point.

hence why he said he was going to wait until after the draft to make a decision.

I think a lot of people are going to be surprised at how well our current bunch of WR's do. And for goodness sake, NO MORE BOLDIN. Hes gone, get over it.

Exactly. I'm not sure why this Boldin pipe dream keeps gaining more momentum.

Maybe it's because we have plenty of speed at WR, but we don't have a reliable, physical possession receiver, and Boldin happens to be just that. Also, Harbaugh expressed interest in bringing him back, Ozzie emphasized the need to add a possession receiver, and as of right now, there isn't anyone else out there on the market, so I don't know why you would think it's just a pipe dream.

The better question to be asking is why would Boldin want to come back to Baltimore?

Cuz Boldin and Flacco had a good relationship. AND Boldin is hanging out thee "until after the draft", before he makes a decision where he might go. He liked it here. I don't think he wanted to leave in the first place. He even said he would retire before playing elsewhere.  I wouldn't rule it out completely.  Like I said #81 just became available again.

What all this talk about Boldin? Has any player ever left the team and come back to played? Just can't see that. John H is not that kind of guy.

It gets brought up because other then Wallace we do not have a legitimate WR on the roster.

And on a rally weird note.... Jersey #81 just became available. It really doesn't mean much, but some might be able to draw conclusions from it.

  12. *People are having coronaries".

Relax folks.  There are still a lot of offensive guys out there that are Great Players.  Not only that. I don't believe we are done on the veteran scale.  I still believe that Ozzie and Co. bring in some players in the next week or so.  There are teams that are going to release players.  Players that are out there in Free Agency, and we have seen this more lately,  that have not signed because they wanted to wait until after the draft.  They want to see where they are needed and wanted.

I don't like this pick but don't loath it either, very in the middle. I don't like the dlinemen in this draft but I could easily see Wormley developing into a Lawerence Guy type. A guy who does a lot of the unheralded dirty work and doesn't get credit, but still plays a big role.

I'm mad at Ozzie for ignoring the offense, but all in all. It could've been worse

I'm thinking something is going to happen on offense.  He's bringing somebody in..  I'm thinking veteran WR.

You have the names mixed up. You didn't hear not one time that Howard has injuries or character issues. Don't blame your mix ups on espn, nothing wrong with admitting you had a mix up

I don't have a problem admitting it.  I'm not sure I even identified Who had what issue....  and if I did, then I do apologize.  But I was flipping back and forth between NFLN and ESPN last night.  And it was the Gruden crew that were talking about the shoulder issues...  and even switching back to NFLN they spoke of "character flaws"....  Trouble is, it really doesn't matter so much as we drafted HUMPHREY....Theirs was the justification as to why they believed that we did so.  And I'm not sorry we did.  I like the pick.

Howard absolutely does not have character issues. That's total Crap

Hey, I'm just quoting what some of the analysts were stating last night.....  They gave valid reasons why 3 of those guys were overlooked.  Just sayin.  So if you believe it's total crap...  then see the guys on ESPN or NFLN

  16. I still say Ozzie puts way too much stock in these 4th/5th rounders. If you're guy is sitting there in the 1st round and you only have to give up a 4th or 5th to get him, then do it. We could have had Ramsey last year and he wouldn't part with the pick to get him. We ended up with the 3rd best lineman in the draft despite having the #6 overall pick.

We NEEDED Ronnie Stanley.... and I'm sorry, but WHEN did we draft Tavon Young??? What round??? He was a real surprise for me last season...

So let me get this straight: they attempted to and failed to move up a whopping 1-3 positions to draft a guy that was graded lower than Marlon?

They most likely wanted too much for their 16th pick.  Friend of mine told me the exact same thing....  "Tennessee had Humphrey on their board."
