Watching the munchkin tonight so that Dustin and Kim can get a night out... I'm still trying to decide if I like the peace and quiet, or if I like kid running the house. Which is better?.. Guess the g-mom thing is a good thing... cause when you decide peach and quiet, you get to send them home.

I saw last night on the news that the U.S. may "abandon" the International Space Station". Last week, the Russians lost a rocket with 2.9 tons of food and supplies. They have delayed another launch, and probably can't launch another due to the cold Winter approaching. Note that we defunded our shuttle program, have dismantled them, and are preparing to make them tourist attractions. Yes, we have a couple of U.S. Astronauts up there! How pathetic is this???

A customer came in with an OLD Oreck from the 1980's... in the box (that they still had mind you) was a catalog... A single upright, alone, sold for $222.00 The Buster Bee in the catalog sold for $67.00. Can you imagine that in 2011, that same vacuum sells for $149.00?

Moscow reported that communication with Progress 44 cargo craft was lost 5 minutes after its launch today. Preliminary data from Russia indicates there was a problem with the propulsion system, and the vehicle did not reach its desired orbit. It launched from a cloudless sky at 7 p.m. Kazakhstan time for the International Space Station and a docking on Friday. The spacecraft is carrying 2.9 tons of food, fuel and supplies for the space station. Good thing it wasn't carrying our US Astronauts...

NFL Network's No Huddle... This is a landmark game for Joe Flacco. He must step it up on Sunday. This is the game that is going to determine what we say about Joe from this point forward. If the Ravens don't make it to the Super Bowl this year, this season is a bust. All four guys (Willie McGinnest, Marshall Faulk, Jalen Rose, and Charles Davis) pick the Ravens to win at home this weekend.

I found it heartbreaking (again).... but was so impressed and thankful. Today I got a card in the mail from the veterinarian's office... Signed by everybody at Banfield. Brought tears to my eyes, again... but I loved how my Lacey was thought about by them.
