  1. Reed's a coach; and an ex-Raven who is a first round HOF'er... Of course his name is going to pop up.
  2. I don't think that ruffled his feathers at all. Harbaugh has been around long enough to know that when a Head Coach is hired he usually takes "his guys" with him. Was he disappointed ? sure but nothing about his ego will stop him from calling Dennison IF that is the direction that he wants to go. He knows that he needs to get it right whatever he decides for next season because his seat is getting warmer. Agreed: Dennison had only worked with Kubiak. He wanted to stay with Kubiak. I don't believe it had anything to do with an issue in Baltimore at all.
  3. Steve, you should have been a Raven much sooner. It felt like you belonged here. Many of us are truly sad that we didn't get to share more than we did of your wonderful career. God Bless you and your family. You'll surely be missed.
  4. I was kind of hoping Frazier would become our DC.... He was good at that, but not as a HC.
  5. You don't think our secondary improved on turnovers this season??? We had 18 INT's this season... We had 6 last year. 2 by the secondary last year, and 10 by the secondary this year.
  6. I think it depends on what that coach thought of Reed when he played for us. He just may see him as an asset to their secondary. Just sayin. It's gonna depend on how that secondary, specifically the safeties played with Reed there last year. I haven't looked at their stats for the season with him there.
  7. PFF said the O-Line graded out as 9th best in the league. Don't know what film they were watching. When all are healthy, Yanda moves back to RG, Lewis in at LG (or RT if Wagner departs), which really means we need a bigger, beastlier Center plus a higher quality swing OL as a backup, and we'll be all set talent-wise. I'd actually agree with that. Problem was that we were on an O-Line carousel for much of this season... players hurt, and players moving around... Yeah, if we could get a decent Center and some consistency there.... we'd be OK.
  8. lol! Now if we can rid Joe of his buddy Dennis and save a good amount of cap, all will be well in Baltimore! You do realize that Dennis has actually been a life saver at times, right? He's got some of the most reliable hands in the league... I don't know why people are anxious to get rid of one of the most "sure things" on this team. It just doesn't make sense. Restructure his deal... don't get rid of the guy.
  9. OK boys and girls.... You got your wish... Now let's see what happens.
  10. They'll not let Reed go. He'll be promoted to the Secondary's coach in Buffalo. Watch.....
  11. Are you kidding? Thats cuz Shareece Wright was on the team...for some reason?? And we don't want to get a shut down corner for some reason. At least Frazier finally helped create turnovers Absolutely... There was definitely an improvement this year over last.
  12. While I understand that you might be frustrated... Maybe you should put in an application for the job. I would have just a word of advice, As they say at M&T.... Don't be a jerk...... You might not like the guy... and that's fine. It's your opinion. But you have to look at more than what you believe to be the problem here.
  13. When a defense is consistently stuffing your RB, and you're behind, you don't fire your HC or OC. You find a better line that can create creases or a RB that can move around, has patience and can make something out of a run.... Me Personally????? I like Dixon better than West.....
  14. I don't know if that was the case. I just get sick of seeing that pocket collapse and people getting to Joe all the time. When you don't see that happening with other teams.... It seems as though some of those guys have all day long.
  15. YUP, we need a new Center... Urschel who has been the backup... Could he be a replacement?
  16. Absolutely nothing wrong with his deal... or Wallace's. We'll see what happens with Wallace now that Steve is gone.
  17. So, the fact that he had a complete carousel for an O-Line, and was coming off an ACL is absolutely no excuse. Yeah, I get it...
  18. Absolutely makes you feel better about why things are the way that they are... and why keeping some things that way makes sense.
  19. WEDDLE: $13M guaranteed for 4 years. $26 overall. For 2016... Base was $1M; Signing Bonus @1.75M; and Roster Bonus of $1M.... WALLACE ..... two years and $11.5 million. The deal is really for one year and $5.75 million with an option for another season worth $5.75 million. Wallace got $4.5 million signing bonus to sign in Baltimore with a $1 million bonus due in March of 2017. Problem is people want us to bring in good players, then they don't think they deserve to get paid.... I'm not thinking this guy was overpaid this year.... Not for all the leadership he brings to this team. $3.75M? I think he's worth every penny.
  20. That's EVERY team... not just ours. Folks act like we are onerous and these issues are only specific to the Ravens. They aren't... ask Tomlin. Ask Any other HC.
  21. Not fair to imply Joe isn't giving it his best, especially given the huge injury he sustained. Have you forgotten that, even after that injury, he stayed in the game for two more plays just to try to keep the drive going? Basically with one working leg?? Instead, how about wishing for an offensive line that can give him more than 1.2 seconds to throw the ball, and that can occasionally open up running lanes? And maybe some receivers who can get open and actually catch the ball? basically the whole off. scheme and playbook needs an overhaul. watching the gb/giants game the other day made me realize how far behind our offense is. our schemes and routes the receivers run do not even compare to gb. their receivers are spread out all over the field while ours seem to end up in the same general area. they come back to the ball and are aware of where rodgers is in case he needs to be bailed out. They also have had O-Line issues this year and were slow to start this season. They flew under the radar for most of the latter part of the season. They are now healthy, and are looking fantastic. GB is my second favorite team.
  22. We should just get rid of everyone and completely start over. That would solve all of our problems.
