  1. Ellicott.... THIS is a clean pocket. I haven't seen one like this the entire season... Have you???
  2. meh. I'm thinking one thing.... they have not played against us with BOTH West and Dixon.... And this kind of plays to our strengths as it does theirs. That's what makes this such a great matchup.
  3. Nobody has said that he hasn't had a good game here or there... I mean, even a blind squirrel can find a nut.
  4. I will say that Stanley and Yanda have and do deserve better grades. Even considering Yanda is playing injured (as he just does). But Ducasse and Zuttah have hurt us badly in many games... with their penalties and inadequate protection.
  5. They're crazy..... Zuttah should NEVER score in the 80's. He's been awful this year.... and last year.
  6. The first place teams...Dallas, New England, Pittsburg.... Philly looked like a first-place team the way they ran the ball on us yesterday. Just sayin'.... Philly did, yes. They do, just like we used to. They have no real threat at Wide Receiver. When we have guys like SSS, Wallace, Aiken, Pitta, etc. etc. etc. The Philly Game??? How many passes did you see downfield. @TorryGundy The first place teams have.... DEZ. and this year has Elliott.. But NE, uses the hell out of Edelmann... and NE has had to due to losing Gronk, and it's WR's... Pittsburgh relies on LeVeon, but has Antonio, Coates, and the like, that it relies on even more for games like yesterday... AWFUL EXAMPLES.
  7. It's not Stanley or Yanda that I have a problem with... It's the Center and the other side..... Those guys are doing a great job of keeping people off of Joe. Zuttah is constantly being pushed back into Joe. I'm just saying.... I can't get the image of that pocket out of my head last night with Prescott, thinking... Oh, if only Joe had that.
  8. Perfect message.... that's exactly right.
  9. No, there isn't... that said... just like @ravensdfan said. People have been screaming about conservative playcalling for years too... We go aggressive and people lose their minds. Just a side thought here???? Waller, Pitta or Smith or ANYONE catches that pass??? Joe's a hero.
  10. Yup... and I agree with that as well..... and when I said "that's what we want"... I meant that they took the blame. All 3 of them did... and people have been screaming for that for years....
  11. Any idiot would have known it should have been a run call.... Just that is enough to change the play.
  12. Why are you arguing with me about it... That was my entire point... for those blaming only Joe. THEY GOT GREEDY and wanted the TD right there and then.
  13. In a pass-happy league, the Ravens have a distaste for running the ball....... I'll just leave it at that.... How many top tier teams dominate in their running game? I know there are a few, but I'm Just asking.
  14. The interception stopped the clock too.... for us. You had two more shots at running it in there..... or at the very least a FG... Not saying, just sayin..... a run play should have been audibled.
  15. Yup... He said it during his presser.... He didn't think. He said he thought "a third TD pass for the day". So he was thinking stats. And I agree with Tru. He should have looked at the play as it unfolded and thrown it out the back of the endzone. He had two more chances at it after that... I watched the Dallas/Washington game last night. A GREAT O-Line looks like what they have in Dallas. They gave Prescott all day long... That pocket was so clean you could eat off of it. The sad part is that Zuttah is constantly owned by the opposing team. And when I hear people say that Joe should just throw it away, you'd be surprised how often he'd have to. He very rarely has a good pocket. So, yeah, the O-line has been less than abysmal
  16. Oh YEAH, I agree also.... The play should have been changed at the line. Joe should have audibled a run call.
  17. Most of which would have been avoided if we had a decent O-Line. I wish people would/could see it. Zuttah is constantly being pushed back into Joe.
  18. And all of them admitted it. That's what we want right??? Truth is, THEY GOT GREEDY AND WANTED INSTANT GRATIFICATION. A TOUCHDOWN NOW.
  19. This.... Just this..... Fire Cam, Fire Caldwell, Fire Kubiak, Fire Trestman, and now Fire Morninhweg. Did I miss anyone??? I just hope we go after more Offensive linemen this next draft..... It's just where we are right now.... If you watched the Dallas game last night, you'll see what a GREAT O-LINE looks like. That kid had a pocket that he could stand in, step up in, and wait in for about 8 seconds.
  20. EXCEPT... that after watching the play again several times, it was clear that Steve didn't make a crisp break on the ball... He slipped a little, you can see that if you watch it again. It put him directly behind the defender instead of out in front. You're right, they didn't call "an interception". The play wasn't called for that.... LMAO... But had Steve Smith been able to crisp out that route??? Joe would have looked like a hero. They got greedy and pushed for another TD right away instead of pounding the ball in.
  21. Quasi Rookie
  22. Ummmmm, it was a schemed play, called by Morninhweg. Even Harbaugh admitted he should have vetoed it.
  23. Of that, I do agree.
  24. CLEARLY...as was outlined in the pressers, that was a called play. And Harbaugh said he should have vetoed it. Be careful... lots of professionals use the term "at least"... and I will do so at my leisure, or as I feel appropriate. Your use of the term cultural rhetoric has nothing to do with football. So, your choice of wording was inappropriate at best.
  25. I didn't understand that pass ha was intercepted when we just needed to run th clock down and keep pounding. I get the idea to try and score once more, but there was plenty of time left for that. I will not blame any one segment of the team in this game. This entire team was hot and cold today. at least we came out with the "w".
