  1. I know.... I just want it to be over and have the outcome as was predicted by NFLN.... Here’s a little Christmas cheer from the NFL Network’s Pete Schrager, co-host of the morning show on the NFLN and a contributor to FOX Sports: (Pete picked us to win the Super Bowl midway through the 2012 season – and he was proved correct.) “It may all come down to this, and I like the Ravens. If they can channel that 2012 magic, Baltimore can be that team no one wants to play in January. It has to start here. Win in Pittsburgh. Win in Cincinnati. Win in the wild-card round. Win on the round in the divisional round. Win on the road in the AFC Championship game. Finish the job in Houston. The challenge is out there, Ravens. Go get it. In a game of this magnitude, I’m taking the defense. And, head-to-head, it’s been the Ravens who’ve had the better unit. The pick: Ravens 27, Steelers 23.
  2. Moderators please terminate this account, thanks Drew, I wish we could. It's not very often we come upon folks who simply just don't understand. The best we can do is to try and educate them on all things Ravens.
  3. Just in case we need more fuel.... Dameshek and Taylor picking and choosing plays in favor of the Steelers. Although it's understandable. HOMERS!!! They won't show you plays where they beat the snot out of the Steelers.... including Ben's nose. http://www.nfl.com/videos/dave-dameshek-football-program/0ap3000000761075/DDFP-Time-Machine-Football-Ravens-Steelers-rivalry
  4. THIS IS THE ONLY GAME THAT MATTERS... PERIOD.
  5. “I don’t know how that man still plays at such a high level as old he is,” Roethlisberger said. “He is an awesome football player.” Ummmm Harrison??? If we're testing Sizzle, we're definitely testing Harrison!
  6. I'm not going to respond to your entire post, because the second article clearly doesn't. It refers to his consistent problems he's had. I'm done arguing about it. But, in case you just missed this part... "Going all the way back to Week 1, his performance against the Buffalo Bills was shaky at best. Since then, his poor play has been masked by the offensive line regressing as a unit, but on a day when the left and right sides both were solid, Zuttah’s struggles were on full display. If he can't turn it around soon, the Ravens may want to look for some fresh blood at the position in order to protect Joe Flacco, and also find some consistency in the running game. In the meantime, head coach John Harbaugh would be wise to challenge Zuttah to play with some more discipline. If he doesn't, the Ravens can expect more of the same from what is proving to be a pitiful offensive unit.
  7. Exactly. Stanley and Yanda are fine... When you give a player an 80 rating, does that take penalties into account? http://russellstreetreport.com/2016/11/23/filmstudy/jeremy-zuttah-penalties-costly-dallas/ http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2016/11/21/13692810/ravens-must-evaluate-center-position Both of these articles talk about what I have said.
  8. THAT IS AWESOME
  9. That was kind of my point... if we go back a gazillion pages, nowhere was an overall season total ranking mentioned.... but OK, I get your point.
  10. I don't, you guys took that upon yourselves. Nobody said 27th overall throughout the entire year
  11. If being a millenial is a factor... we are all in trouble going forward.
  12. This is getting out of hand.... Yes, I know what the original poster said.
  13. It doesn't drop us to 27th. That was by far an exaggeration.
  14. I get that, but it doesn't lower our defensive ranking to 27th in the league. It may lower it, but not that much. Because then you would have to look at the yardage of Ezekiel Elliott, LeVeon Bell, and guys like that too. The very fact that we held Elliott to 97 yards was pretty huge. Did Mathews gash us??? yes... But they had no passing game on Sunday either. To me, it's just all relevant... not just about one guy. I still question the Beckham thing. He has done the EXACT same thing in a couple of other games too... He goes down with an injury... misses a play and then comes back in on the next play and gashes a team. I've seen it 3 times that I can count just off the top of my head. It's a thing.
  15. The Ravens do great things.... THANKS GUYS!
  16. I think it's snacktime for Suggs, Dumer, and Williams.
  17. There is no way I couldn't watch.... I might be disappointed in the end... BUT... MAYBE NOT! It could be the best Christmas EVER!
  18. Your post was very nice. I didn't say anything bad about it. I didn't personally attack you... I simply stated fact... You ARE a Squeeler fan, right?
  19. I was referring to Jacket's comment...... but apparently Baroquenspirit didn't know we had lost against Dallas and þe Patriots?????
  20. He's a Squeeler fan..... Just sayin!
  21. Here's another one. It's a homer article, but I can find NOWHERE where it says that we are ranked 27th when he is out.. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-jimmy-smith-1215-20161214-story.html
  22. What actually brought up our ranking was our run-D (until yesterday), more than our secondary, even though he does significantly help our passing D. There are just way too many factors to make that kind of statement. Just like the Dallas game when we held Elliott to under 100 yards. Only 2 other teams had done that, and only in games 1 and 2 of the season respectively. I was looking at each individual stat too. That in NO WAY takes us all the way down #27.
  23. If you look at it week by week, it's just not true. Simple as that.
  24. No.... it's not true.... http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/position/defense
  25. It's also the penalties billiejean. They're drive killers. False starts... illegal formation...
