We need at least two more O lineman, two corners, one threat receiver, to start the new year.
And replace him with Pees? I think Rex would love to come back and take over these guys.

If Lewis can get back on the field instead of Ducasse, and Jimmy can play, and somehow Perriman can get open more than once a game to take the pressure off Wallace. Add in Marty gaining a bit more knowledge about the players he has and uses their strengths and Pees suddenly being able to call more than 1 quarter of the game.
I'd have to take that as a no.
Pittsburgh hosts the Ravens, then go home to play the winless Browns. Our game in the steel city will be rough, like as in New England. Then we have to travel to Cincy the last week. Always tough playing there. We'll lose to the Steelers and probably the Bengals too. The eagles almost won vs the Ravens at home today. They are like 1-7 in away games this year.
My answer is steadfast no. We won;t even sniff the playoffs.
I say not. Perhaps next year, but not right now.
And you say?

I hope the Ravens learn their lesson about bringing has beens. And yes, he was horrible.

It's not just how we play, but also what our opposition plays. I stated last week, that Belechick would bump our receivers at the LOS, allowing their linebackers to take away passing routes. That happened last night and we had no answer to it.
I knew we would lose, but not that bad. The Pats and Brady slapped us around like a red headed step child. It was hard to watch and embarrassing on national TV. This team is not playoff capable. No way we beat Pittsburgh at Heinz.
Eagles are a great home team and a weak away team. We should win this game by at least two to three scores. If they can't beat the Eagles at home, we don;t belong anywhere near the playoffs.
Three games left. Want a playoff spot? Then win all three games. Lose just one and turn in your gear for the season. Let's see what happens. Pittsburg is going to fight like hell to win that Christmas game, in Pittsburg.with Big Ben. Better bring at least a pint of your favorite hard stuff.
I'm still sticking with my original prediction. Ravens at Foxboro- not good against a good team and QB. Even- steven in the first half and then Pats bring it on in the second half. 20-10 -New England wins this match up. (much like at Dallas.)

Yes. I agree.

I think the points against stat is a little misleading, because there are multiple things that go into that. As they sometimes say, the best defense can be a great offense. The Pats move the ball efficiently and therefore help limit the opportunities the opposing offense will have. So, conversely, a defense good enough to get some stops will help paint a more true picture.
On top of that, the Patriots offense converts in the red zone. They score TDs. That puts the opposing offense in a position to have to throw the ball more, take more chances, eschew FG's to try and convert 4th downs, etc... I dont have specific stats that speak to this (dont feel like doing the research) and it may not be a huge factor, but id imagine it certainly plays a part. So, this will give their D more opportunities to get off the field without surrendering any points... more opp's to get stops.
Their D surrenders a lot of yards. You can move the ball on them. It's a matter of putting the points up when you get in the red zone. The key will be scoring TD's when we have the opportunity, and not getting in a hole early so we can take the FGs when we're there and not have to play catch up.
If our defense can do their job and keep the Pats out of the end zone... stops are great but we have to limit them to FG's when they do move the ball... we SHOULD be able to move the ball on them. Need to get at least FG's when we cross mid-field (which we should be able to do frequently) and then get TD's when we get deep in the red zone.
Now this is an outstanding rebuttal reply. Well thought out. Bold- I hope you're right about their D. But much of my post was about the weather. Some posters wanted to know what 10 years ago has to do with anything. The point I was making about that is 10 years ago, I personally witnessed the advantage that the Pats have playing at home in the rain. It's supposed to rain there Monday night. That makes it a defensive game. I hope you are right. If the Ravens can beat New England away, then I believe that we have a chance to run the table.
Realistically, I have to say no. New England is a tough game for us. If we played like last week, then I like our chances. We are tied with Pittsburg record wise. They have an easy schedule, we do not. At New England, at Pittsburgh, and at Cinci. I don't think we win the division. The Steelers will. That four game losing streak did us in, yet we could have easily won two of them.

I see this being another nail biting game that comes down to the final minutes. My prediction, Tucker hits a 54 Yard Game Winning FG to win the game to further his GLORIOUS 2016 Season.
Ravens 31
Patriots 28
So you think the Ravens can hang 31 points on a Patriot defense that is every good as ours? Both teams have allowed the exact same amount of points scored against us. I love your optimism but we gotta be real here. They are 9-2. We are 7-5. We are playing in Gillette stadium. It's supposed to have alot of rain there. About ten years ago, my wife and I went to New England to watch our Ravens. The game was played in a steady, all game down pour, Ravens got beat 21-3. As Mod 3 said, advantage goes to the home team. I know that everybody is jacked up because we thumped Miami pretty good. We played our best game of the year while Miami played their worst game of the year. This will be a defensive game. I love my Ravens, but got to be real here. Pats 20 Ravens10. Hope I'm wrong.

First, he's going to bump and try to knock our receivers off their routes at the line of scrimmage. This will make it tougher for our receivers to get to their posts and also enable their linebackers to make plays. Harbaugh is going to have game plan for that. Billy has watched that Miami game where Joe threw to open receivers at will. Not going to happen on Monday night. Our backs are going to have to be effective.
Of course he flopped, but with out Smith getting into his grill, the criminal Burflict doesn't get away with that.

There is no good reason why we should lose to the Ciuncinatti football squad. Agree?
I just can't see them beating the Miami football squad. Hee heee. Can you? Esplain please.

Hopefully the team wins at home!
Dude, what are you even talking about? Make Dolphin steak? What?
If it were not for the Weddle interception, no one would be ruffling feathers. So, was it even worth it? I say naaaaaay.
There was a You Tube video out right after Steve Smith left Carolina. It showed a young kid about 8-9 years old crying like a 2 year old when his father told him that SS was leaving the Panthers. When I first saw this video, I said to myself, "c'mon kid, get a grip".
Now I know why he cried like that. SS is a pretty special player.
Playoffs? Playoffs? Are you serious? We still have to play Cinci twice. Pittsburgh away, New England away, Miami, and Philadelphia away. Four more losses pretty much guaranteed. That'll put us at 7-9. Playoff's? Not gonna happen.

last year we finished 5-11. This year we will probably go 8-8. Three game improvement. They are slowly becoming the playoff teammmmmmmmmm that we love to expect. Patience.
