  1. last year we finished 5-11. This year we will probably go 8-8. Three game improvement. They are slowly becoming the playoff teammmmmmmmmm that we love to expect. Patience.
  2. We need at least two more O lineman, two corners, one threat receiver, to start the new year.
  3. And replace him with Pees? I think Rex would love to come back and take over these guys.
  4. I'd have to take that as a no.
  5. Pittsburgh hosts the Ravens, then go home to play the winless Browns. Our game in the steel city will be rough, like as in New England. Then we have to travel to Cincy the last week. Always tough playing there. We'll lose to the Steelers and probably the Bengals too. The eagles almost won vs the Ravens at home today. They are like 1-7 in away games this year. My answer is steadfast no. We won;t even sniff the playoffs.
  6. I say not. Perhaps next year, but not right now. And you say?
  7. I hope the Ravens learn their lesson about bringing has beens. And yes, he was horrible.
  8. It's not just how we play, but also what our opposition plays. I stated last week, that Belechick would bump our receivers at the LOS, allowing their linebackers to take away passing routes. That happened last night and we had no answer to it.
  9. I knew we would lose, but not that bad. The Pats and Brady slapped us around like a red headed step child. It was hard to watch and embarrassing on national TV. This team is not playoff capable. No way we beat Pittsburgh at Heinz.
  10. Eagles are a great home team and a weak away team. We should win this game by at least two to three scores. If they can't beat the Eagles at home, we don;t belong anywhere near the playoffs.
  11. Three games left. Want a playoff spot? Then win all three games. Lose just one and turn in your gear for the season. Let's see what happens. Pittsburg is going to fight like hell to win that Christmas game, in Pittsburg.with Big Ben. Better bring at least a pint of your favorite hard stuff.
  12. I'm still sticking with my original prediction. Ravens at Foxboro- not good against a good team and QB. Even- steven in the first half and then Pats bring it on in the second half. 20-10 -New England wins this match up. (much like at Dallas.)
  13. Now this is an outstanding rebuttal reply. Well thought out. Bold- I hope you're right about their D. But much of my post was about the weather. Some posters wanted to know what 10 years ago has to do with anything. The point I was making about that is 10 years ago, I personally witnessed the advantage that the Pats have playing at home in the rain. It's supposed to rain there Monday night. That makes it a defensive game. I hope you are right. If the Ravens can beat New England away, then I believe that we have a chance to run the table.
  14. Realistically, I have to say no. New England is a tough game for us. If we played like last week, then I like our chances. We are tied with Pittsburg record wise. They have an easy schedule, we do not. At New England, at Pittsburgh, and at Cinci. I don't think we win the division. The Steelers will. That four game losing streak did us in, yet we could have easily won two of them.
