  1. Yes, he can still play. With any level of competence? I haven't seen it yet. I would love to, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

As a side note, he never had a strong arm to begin with, but he really seems to have lost the little zip he had before. Could get really ugly the next few weeks

Yeah, the arm is definitely donezo

  2. We have pieces on the offense. A few of them are just really young.

    Maxx

    Crockett

    Boyle

    Buck looks good

    I think West > Tal

    Potentially Perriman.

Hell Juice is a weapon and a pretty good run blocker.

That's not including SSR if he comes back, Forsett, and Givens if we resign him. In addition to Aiken.

We have pieces. The key contributors are freaking hurt.

The pieces are here to have a good offense. We need depth on the oline badly. Hurst sucks. I like Jensen and Urschel as the backups. Monroe is good when healthy but he hasn't been the past two seasons(I think that the turf thing solves that problem tbh). I'd look for a backup swing tackle, and maybe another OG in the draft.. And if Tunsil or Stanley are there I'd take either of them.

Honestly the offenses' problems are overblown.

Man, I've never seen a team that could potentially turn it around super quickly as us. If we make some good moves we're back in the hunt next year. It's clear injuries are the primary issue

I agree 100 percent, which is why I'm not freaking out like some on here over how this thing has panned out this year. There are some guys who are getting a chance to see the field and show that they can be valuable to the team, the coaches are getting a chance to develop these guys ala Aiken,Givens,Allen,Urschel ect,,

  3. and the ultimate wildcard rick Wagner!!!

Honestly, I'm not too worried about Wagner so much as I'm worried about Left Tackle. Eugene Monroe is exceedingly mediocre when healthy, but that's the problem..dude can't play two games in a row it seems. Hurst is garbage. Problem is that we're stuck with Monroe.

  4. Justin Tucker has missed a career-high 6 FG, for a career-low % of 78.6, ranking him 30th among NFL kickers.

Disappointed. I love Tucker but the Coaches need to call him out. Not a good choice to suck in your contract year.

You DO realize that all of his misses have been either wind related or bad turf? There were a few where the turf under his plant foot gave out. There were a few where the wind blew the ball wide, and the others were from OVER 55 yards, those aren't gimme kicks.

I Highly doubt Harbaugh is worried about Justin Tucker.

When he starts shanking them from inside 40 then we can talk.

  5. Is it probable? No. That's what this year has been all about, improbable things happening.

Would I be elated? Yes. I'd trade that over top 15 pick any day.,

The fact remains that the Ravens are still in the mix somehow.

I was playing around with the playoff generator this morning, the most unrealistic thing preventing them from making the playoffs is them winning out. The rest of the results that would need to happen aren't out of the realm of realism...

  6. Right?! The Tennessee Ducks it'll be...

If the Titans have any hope for their future, they would pass on Kelly. I've been saying it from the start, his ideas of what he wants his team to be doesn't translate to the NFL.

In year 1 in Philly, they played a bunch of soft defenses, scored a bunch of points on them, year 2...no so much. Their running game behind McCoy saved them a bit because he was able to make guys miss in the backfield and break big runs. Hes a bust in the nfl IMO.

  7. I'll probably get flamed for this, but I don't think we'll ever have an elite offense with Flacco.

I don't dislike him, but I just think he's a slightly above avg QB.

I disagree completely. Flacco is MUCH better than average.

Also, so what if we don't have an "elite" offense? I'd rather have an elite team and win some more Super Bowls..which we will.

  8. If there is another Harbaugh thread, forgive me.

Since Harbaugh has been here, we haven't had a bad season like this. I often wondered how Harbaugh would respond to it. Would he let the team fall apart, lose the players, or would he take charge and lead the team through it?

I think by now, we can safely say that we have our answer. Harbaugh has stepped front and center for this team, kept the men motivated and focused. The fact that this team with this roster (on the field) is in contention to win every single game is a testament to the job that he and the rest of the staff have been doing.

I love the aggressiveness, going for it on 4th down ect,, He is giving some young guys a chance to step in and earn a spot for next year, and he's holding everyone accountable..the team is still playing hard. That is all we as fans can hope for, for the team to play hard and compete down to the last minute every week. They have delivered on that. Job well done Harbs.

  9. Pees is capable of calling good plays. The playbook is not the problem. His philosophy is. I honestly want a change for that reason alone. I do think with more talent we'd be more succesful, but I miss our punch you in the mouth defenses of the past.

I think with more talent, we would have that punch you in the mouth style back. Our interior D line is flat out nasty, we are just missing Suggs. The secondary, I feel is another issue all together. I don't think I can remember a season where we haven't lost either Webb or Jimmy to a season ending injury..neither of those guys has had a complete offseason. That said, moving Webb to nickel has helped a lot, and Jimmy has started to come on as of late so let's hope to see continued improvement there.

One thing that I don't like with This defense is having to blitz safeties and corners to get pressure.. But I understand why he calls it.

  10. Ahhh. That makes sense. Yeah. I just read that Harbaugh called them dirty. They are, to be fair, but we haven't been a very disciplined team so it's legitimately a point of the pot calling the kettle black

Our players are at fault as well, but their guys were talking after every play.

I listen to the Ravens radio broadcast while I watch the game on TV, they were actually commenting about how much the Rams were talking..and to be fair how our guys let themselves get sucked into it.

Also, this isn't the first time a Jeff Fischer team has been called dirty. Seems to be a trend.

  11. Officiating IS awful....

John said it yesterday. They coach how the league and the officials tell them it will be called. When they make boneheaded plays they admit it. However, when you are calling a game tight, and you're leaving blatant calls on the field, and your laundry in your pocket, then that's an entirely different thing.

Like the facemask call Sunday. Everybody saw it. The coaches, the players, and the fans... and those of us that watched it on TV... and when he brings it to their attention, they ignore him, like he's not even standing there.

I have to agree with Balfan at some point with the whole "letting replay" hash it out. We'll make the call and then watch the tape; and sort it all out in the end.

Everybody actually makes reference to the "scab refs" we had... well these guys are actually worst in lots of respects. And it's not even just on our field. It's on the field league-wide.

They need to completely re-structure the Officiating System.

First of all. IMO on replays, they need to divert back to the officiating office where there is a crew who's only job is to

make replay calls. This takes the heat off of the on field official from the start.

It works fine that way in the NHL and MLB.

Second, they need to have full time referees...and YOUNGER referees. Half of these old men simply can't keep up with the pace of the game anymore.

Turn on an NHL game, and see how many Officials in their late 50's and 60's are out there. Not many.

Third the rules need to be black and white, not up to the interpretation of the rule by an individual.

They need to scrutinize what exactly pass interference is, what exactly a defenseless receiver is, and what exactly constitutes roughing the passer..and call it that way every single time.

ALSO. Certain penalties SHOULD be allowed to be challenged. The whole idea of the challenge system is to ensure that the calls are right on the field, so why not be able to use two challenges on flags thrown or not thrown by the officials, since they often are an even bigger deciding factor in the game.

    FOR EXAMPLE

John Harbaugh should have been able to throw a flag in the Jacksonville game to challenge that the ball had not been snapped before time ran out.

  12. Into the Badlands. Who's trying it out like me? I think the potential is there, and the action sequences are great, but I'm not buying in just yet. The actors may just kill it for me.

I tried it. Just not my thing, though the action is definitely there.

To me Walking Dead is by far and away the most dynamic show out there.

On a smililar note, anyone disappointed with American Horror Story this season?

I feel that they have a pretty decent core cast. It's just too overly sexual for my taste, I mean I get being edgy but sometimes the things that they do are obviously just for shock value.

  13. I have a super non fast 04 Silverado Z71. I don't know why, but I love that truck.

I bought it for an insane low price from someone that I know because it also had been babied.. (50k miles at the time in 2013)

At first I just couldn't get past that funky front end..but it's grown on me.

It rides like a freaking Caddy compared to my Wrangler. LOL
