  1. This season was not lost on Sunday in pittsburgh - it was lost in th Bank v the Redskins and in the Meadowlands v the Jets. Those were the games that showed crystal clear that this team is terribly coached. And those tow games where the D ghave up those last minute TD's to lose the game (v the Raiders and Giants). Those games (together wiuth a good handful of other games) showed that the problem with the Ravens is not the roster - it's the system-level mishandling of the roster. Continuous failure to play to the roster's strengths and to avoid getting oits weaknesses exposed... continuous failure to make good game plans and show in-game flexibility. A plethora of bad and downright awful coaching mistakes and decisions. Harbaugh's failure to address obvious and recurring problems.

This team will finish 8-8 (or 9-7 if the Bengals care less about the game - or want a better draft position more than we do) because the roster is so good - in spite of the coaching.

I simply cannot fathom how anyone can still argue for keeping Harbaugh... There are simply NO explanations and excuses for this season. He was given a great roster with first class FA-additions and what may grow into one of the alltime best rookie classes of franchise history... And this time the injuries won't be there to hide behind.

... OK, of course I know he'll stay... Still.

100% Agree, would also say may be time for Eric D to take the reigns in the Front Office....

  2. After taking a few hours to get over this loss, this is my take... The coaching staff needs an overhaul, start with JH , he is just too soft for Ravens football, doesn't seem to hold anyone responsible, same presser every loss. We need a head coach with a little nastiness and fire, win or lose show some guts. Dean Pees may be the most frustrating coach ever, he is so predictable , why not bring the house early on that drive , if they burn us well at least we have time to score again. Yes we have good players on D , and yes we need Pass rushers but Geez blitz every once in a while, get nasty. Oh and Marty the Wig "RUN THE BALL"....I love Oz , but alas may be time to turn over to Eric... Elvis left the bldg last year. Webby has no web, ...gerad POWERS, may have the most ironic name in football. And for gosh sake can we just acquire a decent Center.. , our OLine (outside of Zumama) looks good, we have good LBS ,We need a dynamic CB .... Thank SSS for being a True raven.....With this rant I will sign off----- Happy New year to all , Especially my Raven Brethren
    MAYBE NEXT YEAR.

  3. Ive stated on here before , ravens are paying the Price for, poor drafting, poor coaching, and settling for lower talented FA, (this year has been better with Wallace& Weddle) Our edge rushers are way below avg. we rarely get any pressure on the QB, Elvis and Terell have lost thier doom & sizzle, and the others guys are just lower caliber players,* I Think We Need A Shakeup*

  4. Yeah , I realize we have a ton of injuries, but that's no excuse (see Pats 2016)
we are just flat out getting outcoached, Im I the only one that gets tired of Johnny boys coach speak, c-mon JH start coaching like your Job depends on it , we need players and coaches with a mean streak, players and coaches that HATE to LOSE instead of all the dmn excuses.......

  5. Another week same result, this team is just not talented enough to win , especially with the way flacco is playing, I counted 7 plays where he had OPEN wr and he made bad throws or bad reads, I know the O-Line sucks but joe was bad also, bright points (West and wallace) the Bad - pass rush looked slow and uninspired, the secondary was bad outside of Jsmith,... 6-11 is a stretch, 5-12 is about right.. I think the whole FO and coaching staff should be on the HOTSEAT
Draft failures ,Bad Qb play , and bad coaching are the definition of bad team!!

  6. Coaching was horrible, all phases, Pees never blitzes, we cant get pressure with the 4 we have, ST what a joke, Offense, Cam Trestman is the worst, lets get away from what is working and throw 2yard passes . SMDH .Mosely didn't lose the ball he threw it at the damm pylon, surely he knows the rules Right? pitiful excuse for a Pro team, eveybody in the world knew It was a fake FG Tucker was lined up to kick left
footed for gods sake. -6-10 again

We had the most people on IR in 2015 with 18 players out for the season, and we didn't come close to the playoffs.

The Squeelers had 16 players out for the season last year, and they made the playoffs.

The Patriots had 15 people on IR last year, and they also made the playoffs.

What does this mean? That the Squeelers / Patriots either had better coaching and/ or had a deeper, more quality roster because of better drafts in the past 5 years (when we didn't).

Go ahead love your black and gold all you want, we still beat them twice last year....

  8. IMHO, 4 key points that held us back last year. (1) Injuries, it doesnt take a genius to see how below average we were without Joe, SSSr and TSizzle
(2)The secondary , Jimmy Smith was not all the way back last year, I fully expect him to be a shutdown CB, Weddle and Powers , are a massive upgrades for the Secondary, Davis, and wright, are nice pieces as well, and lets not forget Webby possibly having a great year at safety. (3) Pass rush , with Sizzle out and Doom being double teamed , the pass rush was almost dormant at times, the addition of Sizzle back, and the infusion of young talent, (Correa, and others) the sacks will definitely improve. (4) The offense, with the addition of Stanley ,and having JZuttah back this solidifies our OL, The Passing game, with the addition of fast WRs, and having the fearless one ,Steve Smith Sr ,back will create many options for Joe,Whats not to love about the TE arsenal .
We will be back in the playoffs , and who knows how far we can go.....
