  1. What is the cause of the disconnect between where Zuttah graded out (9th best Center in football) and how people view his value.  If he is as good as his grade said then why is he the issue and if not how did he get that grade?

Zuttah is just not athletic , smart nor tough enough to control a Ravens run attack, what I viewed this year was a center who constantly held, and made the wrong calls , and got beat 80% of the time. he was by far our weakest link upfront, I don't care what he graded out he was just plain terrible..

  2. Coaching , Coaching, coaching, it takes coordinators with a solid foundation and the ability to coach players up to excel in the NFL. I know we are stuck with our staff at this point, but i personally love the Roman hire, he is 10x the play caller than Mwig is, no maybe we can hire a co def coordinator, ... Steve B is giving JH plenty of rope, let's hope johnny boy uses it to corral this team instead of hanging it...

Agreed.  We need a WR that is already a polished route runner.  Davis or Ross are better bets.  Have a shot at Davis at 16, and could trade back for Ross.  Williams would be gone by 16 in any event, and I see no reason to trade up for him.

Ross all day, he just dominates most CBs at the college level, could quickly become a star...

  4. There are only 2 FA WRs who are better options than resigning K Aiken , (1- T Pryor and 2- A Jeffrey), Garcon is washed up , and the rest are most teams 4 or 5..Pryor would make most since , he is relatively young he is fairly durable and he is only going to get better, but if our FO office continues its M.O. probably not a playmaker just a benchwarmer.

  5. Losing brings out the worst of us fans,. I HATE to lose at anything, but I really hate losing and not seeing anything done to correct it. Yes we have totally missed on some picks (Kindle, Brown, Elam, etc.. ) but some picks are not being coached up, scheme is wrong, Pees is not the answer to coach some nastiness into these young players, TheWig is not the answer to move BPerriman forward top a No1 WR, Harbaugh is playing with fire by retaining these 2 below avg coordinators, Harbaugh doesn't have Ray or ED to help him out and it shows, Steve B. we trust you, but another year of lackluster coaching and underdeveloped players and you might lose your fanbase....

Welp, guess that means more of the same. Trash draft picks (bust, and loading up on positions were already deep at just to stick with the "best player available strategy"), one trick ponys at WR (Deep ball or bust), and injury prone starters at every position. I see why people bangwagon so much, being a fan of a losing team sucks, But aw well go ravens blah blah

I believe in this team and organization. Sorry if you all don't. I love my ravens and the fans... But after this past season reading some of the comments and hearing how angry and unfaithful the fans can be? I'm not sure how good our fan base is. Win OR Lose. I'm a ravens fan.

So as a die hard fans of the Ravens we can't express our opinions , The fan base has to adhere to your standards of acceptance?
Not me , I Love the Ravens but I believe Harbaugh and staff have brought staleness to this team, too much buddy system, people need to be held accountable, Definition of insanity... well you know!

Well that just isnt true at all. His first four games were rough with people rotating through the guard spots next to him. And yes there were two times in one of those games where he backed up on Joe. And in another one of those games neigher Jensen or Zuttah blocked a guy that they were clearly responsible for which lead to a sack. But in the last eleven games of the season he has been rated as one of top five players on the offensive side of the ball eight times. Twice he was the top player and twice he was the second. I wouldn't call Zuttah past his prime or a stop gap. He was rated the number 9 gaurd in the league last year. But he is expensive and if we do get rid of him we better have a plan because there is no one else on our roster that would come close to performing the way he did. And its possible that you would dispute PFFs grade or grading system but what I would say is that you are basing you opinion on only about 1 percent of his plays because there is no way that you would be able to watch him, and then access his performance on every single play during the game. But, he is expensive and I would be fine letting him go. But if we let him go and think that either Urschel or Jensen would be able to perfrom in his place it would be a really big over site.

Zuttah is the worst center we have ever had here, he is never on the same page as the rest of the oline he misses a ton of blocks , he is supposed to be the general on the oline , but he is definitely the weak link.....

That doesn't mean he's gonna fire Harbaugh before the end of next season though.  I have to say that I agree with Pitta and Joe to a degree.  We haven't had consistency on this team in these positions since the Super Bowl.  Sometimes the only way to improve isn't always to create a revolving door, "until you get the right person in here", as much as it is to train your people to be the right guy.  Sometimes that takes time and work.  If these guys work that well with this coordinator, and don't want another change, I'd say let's see what that does before we go throwing people under the bus.   If some members here had their way, they'd completely clean house.

Yes, I am one of those "members " that wants to completely clean house. I would like to see consistency too, just not consistently bad . Wigs and Pees were fired from other teams because they were bad OCs, harbaugh doesn't have Ray's coattails  to ride on anymore. Steve Bisciotti is a great owner, its time for him to take charge and replace this staff. I bet he will give them 1 more year, so maybe a playoff in 2019.

    In other words

    the slow secondary
    weak pass rush
    poor Wr bunch
game plan of OC or offensive system

are not Harbs responsibility? If not Harbs responsibility , then who is to blame?

How about being 31-33 over the last 4 years?

Maybe the problem is having a head coach who has so little responsibility in the problems that he is clueless on how to fix them.

JHarbaugh is directly responsible for this teams , lack of fire , lack of moxy, lack of an identity, if you watch his pressers , its always the same , he holds no one accountable. I'll give Joe one more year due to his injury, but Kubiak showed what good coaching at the OC position should look like. Defend JH all you want, but this team ," Raven football" has become too nice , just like JH.. Bring back Rex if we lose at least we won't act like it's no big deal...

  10. We cant be that bad, can we? We were trying to lose ,Right? This season 100% falls on John harbaugh and staff. Why can't we just run the ball , every fan knows this, hell even my 8 year old asked why we pass so much, this team will keep missing the playoffs if FO changes aren't made , Fire JHarbaugh , ask Ozzie to retire, please please get some coordinators with some damn common sense, GEEZ..... 2017 Roster moves will depend on who is in charge, OZ = Status Quo(8-8) ...John H = No guts, weak leader, ...The wig = stupid play calls (esp at the goal line, just run the ball dumb dumb)....Pees = no swag dull as a rock...I'll bet most fans would be ok with (I am) struggling another year so we can rebuild. We have too many players at the END of their career. We need to say goodbye to Doom/Sizzle, Webb, Mcclellan, Powers, Wright, Zuttah, Wallace, Aiken, among others , We need PLAYMAKERS on offence, and a coach with some moxy on defence. This team /players are very lucky, because the RAVEN FANS are the best FANS in the world, hands down!!!!!! PS my player of the goes to Dennis Pitta, to comeback from those horrible injuries and gut this season out, just amazing....

why? we just had a phenomenal draft, and added 3 good free agent targets (1 of whom was unfortunately injured) - what more do you want ozzie to do? come out and play tight end for the team too?

Not this years draft so much, but overall building of team in recent years, Oz has missed a ton on impact players , most FA signing are older backend of career players, or lower end role players , listen I love Oz , with that said this team needs some fire, I just don't see that with this FO Head Coaching combo...
