With these coaching changes I don't see any difference from last year. That being said we will have the same problems in 2017 that we did in 2016. Mornhinweg is not a winning coordinator an we will essentially have the same offense we did last year which was ok at best and was very inconsistent from week to week. But the run game was a key missing factor in 2016 an the hiring of Greg Roman is a good first step but will he alone be enough to bring the run game back to baltimore that might be the biggest ? going into the 2017 season, in my opinion I don't think so but anything can happen. As far as the Defense goes its just pitiful to watch Dean play soft zone coverage having the CB 7-12 yards off the line which gave AB all those big plays to knock us out the playoffs and you could say the same when we played the cowboys an they gave Dez 10 yards of space almost everytime he lined up.And as far as the pass rush goes it all ties to the same problem until we have a good secondary that can cover for at least 4-8 seconds we will continue to lack in the pass rushing category. But ultimately nothing will change an we will not hold another Lombardy up until the Harbaugh era is over.
Really?? That is what most people said when we hired him. Who is that? we can't win with this guy because I've never heard of him! Yet the man has come in and won a boatload of games and a Super Bowl. SMH
Biggmack is 100% correct , This is not coaching changes, it is blowing smoke up the fans backside, the only hope we have is that G Romans can impose his will and take control of the OC job, Morningwig is just plain awful, his late game ineptness nearly cost us 2 games in which we were clearly in control of. Morningwig is Cam Cameron all over again, soooo tired of wimpy herbaugh hiring his cronies, every fan knows the last Super Bowl we won was RAY's Super Bowl not herbaughs, I hope I am wrong , but without a miracle just can't see past 8-8 again this year.......
Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Mink has a brocrush..
Either one of the Florida CBs (Tabor or Wilson) My preference if we can trade up is D Cook, or Corey Davis(Big and fast)
I would still rather see Ravens make a run at T Pryor, Physically talented (still a little raw) big WR that could shine for several years
Just draft 7 CBs one or two can maybe make an impact by attrition.......Just kidding...or am I...
Good 3rd rounder, but 1st and 2nd =CB , CB
Not beating a dead horse, but it will be difficult making big improvements with this coaching staff, Romans may help a little, but if we stick with Morning wigs stupid play calls, and Pees chicken attitude, we are just running in place. The way to improve Joe is to build a quality run game , but we have a major hole (see J Zuttah) Would love to see B Marshall or T Pryor to give The WR position some toughness... Draft Day we need CB CB CB ..
Holy Snapface , did MARTY MORNINGWIG call the falcons plays in the 4th quarter.. we are in field goal range we kick a field goal and the game is over, but HEY lets not RUN the ball lets take a chance to get a sack (it happened ) or get a holding penalty (it happened) and give them a chance to tie it , yeah that's the ticket,,, dumb as a rock!!! Falcon Fans welcome to our world with MORNINGWIG...
Higher tickets should = better product ? The fans are getting shafted, unless we see major improvement , I hate to be negative nelly , but major improvement is incredulous when thinking of this coaching staff...
Zuttah easily cost us chances to win some games this year, he is just Terrible there has to be someone better in FA or AFL or CFL or Grocery store or That crazy Uncle , anybody please!!!!
No No , only consider King in 4 or 5 round, this is the year to find Jimmy Smiths Partner for lockdown CB , Wilson or Tabor in Ist and Name to look for 3rd or 4th round-- Rasul Douglas (WV) 6'2" 204 A JSmith clone?
Jabrill Peppers at safety, enough said !
Not a good fit for the Ravens, he is to slow to cover WRs and to small for a ILB , not great value for 1st rd pick , Ravens could and should do a lot better with the 1st rounder
No doubt Marshall would be a good addition, but for sure if we can sign Marshall, we will cut Wallace, this would give BPerriman a chance to show his worth...
Yeah we REALLY need another TE , it would be a wasted pick, We all know we need CBs, but if D Cook is there it could be tempting...
My 2 cents, I like Pryor , still a little raw at WR, but a lot of upside...
Ray back motivating our Ravens ,,,hell yeah sign me up!!!
I think Joe will improve this year, last year the knee may have played a role in his happy feet pocket dances, but we need to RUN the ball, it's the only way to help Joe on third downs, so sick incomplete on 1st down , 2 yd run on 2nd down, and 3rd and long, let the big dogs up front do some paving , try to get 3rd and 2 or 3 , that will help Joe...
We won't be able to get close to the Pats level until our coaches can find their way to bring the best out of the players we have. That's the true difference between our two teams. They have drafted what, 29th to 32nd for how many years now? Yet they find ways to make no names into playmakers and we don't.
Agree 1000% Our coaching staff is just not good enough to move this team to championship level, I hope I am wrong, But why would we throw the baLL 50+ times a game knowing that's a recipe for losing, Why not play Ravens style aggressive defense, when you know our corners have trouble covering , Why not give Joe a chance to recover this year and run the ball even if only 3 or 4yds per carry, why not play our young olb early on rush downs, and bring in our elder pass rushing specialist on obvious passing downs, why try to throw the ball from the 5 yd line on first down when we're trying to use the clock, (this happened twice) JH said "I Probably should have intervened on the worst call of the year" and then it happened again the next week with the same outcome (interception) Let's do the same thing every week, but think the next week the result will change, (crazy right?) So yeah , how can we compete yearly with Bradychik , I think it starts with COACHING...
2 hours ago, RavensDieHard21 said:No chance. I don't like him or Hump at 16. Sidney Jones and Quincy Wilson are both superior.
Tabor is more aggressive and has more upside, Jones is a little soft(see alabama game) , Wilson has more speed than tabor but tabor is better man press corner , tabor plays with a nasty edge .. But wilson or tabor would be great.
If he is still there it's gotta be Tabor Right?
Cook Maybe, Fournette is injury prone , but for me CB-CB-CB-CB oh did i mention I Think we should draft a#1CB
Good luck Zach, you will always be a Raven......

He can be a very good No 2 IMHO ,B Perlman needs improvement in Route running, catching the ball more consistently , toughness in the middle of the field, and Becoming Joes go to guy, This is a lot to ask from a guy who cant stay healthy, and is already in year three of his rookie contract, so becoming our number - 1- not likely...
