  1. First time I watched Carl Lawson I was shocked, and I still feel excited about his pro potential. If it wasn't for his injuries he would easily be a top5. He represents our biggest need too (in my opinion): an explosive, natural 3-4 pass-rusher with good leverage and effective moves. Just like with Oddighizuwa in the late 1st round of the last year, it's just too risky to grab him as high as his talent suggests. I would love to have him wearing black&purple but not at #6. I think we saw enough OTs taken in the top ten, recently, who didn't perform well enough to justify that pick and other youngsters taken in the late rounds (and are scheme-fit) who simply fill the void nicely (Urschel, Jensen). That's why I generally wouldn't jump of joy for one, there. I also like Treadwell a lot, his YAC and blocking skills but I doubt Oz wants to have two highly paid WRs in couple of years and honestly we don't need a 'possession' receiver as bad as CB or pass-rushers. Buckner would be a good fit as a 3-4 DE, adding some serious speed to an already good DLine. Shaq would be a versatile edge presence too, talented, pretty similar to Bosa (but I like him more). VH3 would help the secondary greatly, no question, but the lack of good pass-rushers in the next rounds makes me feel like Shaq is more valuable there. It's very hard between these 3 and I'll probably change opinion many times until April, but for now Shaq is my man
  2. I wish we signed Ben Koyack out of Jac. practice squad. I loved him at ND and I still believe he's an underrated player. However, best wishes to the new guys; stay healthy!
  3. double thumb up.. I loved Freeney and wished we could land him instead. Got to wonder if he asked for too much?! No idea. Already since we were able to activate Hill last year I was posting about my skepticism toward Pee, blaming his attitude rather than individual players mistakes or injuries.. Patriots' D was ranked 27th under him, not for nothing. I'll always be a ravens' fan but right now it's quite frustrating to see we're not trying to change our main issue: playcalling.. it's putrid on both sides.
  4. While I definitely agree on the second part of your comment, Monroe is hitting the cap with 7.7M this year but his contract carries an important 14.3M in guaranteed money.. I'm pretty sure he'll keep wearing purple for another while
  5. I realized 12h from gordos pick ran out so I made mine. I had few guys ahead of Larsen but didn't want to commit to two rookies on my O-line nor to end the game having a position unaddressed.
  6. With the 822nd overall pick in the DaF game, the Banana Republic select: Ted Larsen, C
  7. Garcia would've been my next pick.. good selection
  8. In all honesty I don't like Funchess, especially as a TE. He's as much unproven in that position as it's (a guy we Ravens know).. the difference is that the wolverine made a living in the slot while the other was mostly used on the outside running go-to or comebacks.. size is similar and both were linked to that position during the draft process, but that's just speculation as both are clearly WRs until now. Just look at the times F. was lining up inline or used as a blocker.
  9. I'll use him as a 5t when I translate the front to 4-3 with Poe being the 1t, Liuget the 3t and Ware lines up wide at 7t/Leo. I had to name him next to Jones simply because my front seven is born as a 3-4.
  10. With the 715th pick in the DaF, the Banana Republic select: Xavier Cooper, DE
  11. now I have the best blocking RB (Gore) who splits reps with one of the best pass catchers and most elusive runners (Spiller).. I could have gone with other positions of need but that was too enticing to pass on. Tannehill will never be surrounded by so much talent
  12. oh no problem at all I'll keep giving a look at the situation once in a while, despite the busy time.
  13. with the 630th pick, thw Banana Republic select: Mike Remmers, RT
  14. Got it;) as you could see I was always online few hours after those picks you made for me.. so I'll always be able to make it my own without being skipped. As things stand now I can still give it to Truth or anybody who's willing to do it on my behalf..or you just wait some more time than usual.
  15. Thanks. I wanted to put a one-gap-shooter in the mix and there were only him and few rookies left. He played both 3 and 5 tech at GB.. so he'll translate to 4-3 (5t) DE in subpackages, with Poe (1t), Liuget (3t), Ware as Leo and Mack dropping in coverage or setting the edge as Sam.
  16. wow...was Willie still available?! Now, I don't need any edge lineman but I completely forgot about him
  17. Arians was my first listed HC. really like the pick
  18. eheh ye it'd be cool.. we need to avoid the berad injury bug as well
  19. thanks.. I'll be honest here, your team is the one I like most so far. We all have some weakness at (at least) one certain position, but your LB unit is probably the most talented and ready-to-go; the WRs look to mesh great on paper and will have Brady throwing at them; Anderson is a beast; a good secondary and, even if incomplete, your trenches look talented
  20. I always knew CJ was fast... maybe just not as much as my GIF indicates.. there must be something wrong in my water or with the gifs maker
  21. I was about to take Gio.. super-liked the pick
  22. With the 523rd pick, the Banana Republic select: CJ Spiller, RB
  23. oh thanks for telling me.. pick will be in soon
  24. KDUBB.. you're a bad person
  25. is this a mutiny รก la nights watch?
