If Ozzie doesn't get it right this season, he can kiss it good bye. His last several drafts have been total overall busts. ESPN, may come knocking for a studio talking head!
Not at all. Ozzie is not on the hot seat. He gives Harbaugh what he wants. Harbaugh makes the final decisions. He's the one who will be feeling the heat if this team tanks again this year. Bottom line, Biscotti knows who's responsible for the coaching staff and talent on the field.
Can we cut Dean Pees?
Wait, Hurst, Taliafarro, Campanaro, Elam and KLewis are still on this team and no Butler, Brooks or Forsett? Are we trying to win? What is this love affair with Campanaro? How many chances does this guy get? It's getting creepy now.
Campanaro hurt again? Definitely time to end that relationship. Hoping Butler and D. Brown clear waivers and added to the PS. Can aging healing achilles Steve Smith last 16 games? Trestman likes big receivers so not surprised they kept Matthews. I'm concerned about the OLine and DB. Experienced depth needed in those positions.

How have things worked out? Is he in the NFL? signed to a team? Or, is the stigma of his immaturity still attached to him?
Can we get to the bottom of who made the decision to wear that ugly uniform? Alot of strange things going on in the castle nowadays. From bad personnel decisions to pairing gold with purple.
Love this. Football should be played on natural grass.
Pass.
I saw this earlier... Hate this for young children, hate it even more for millionaires.
Although, he could be doing it to embarrass them.
He's embarrassing himself.
This is ridiculous. He's being exposed. He's not a good coach. He's a cheerleader.
First rid the team of all alpha males. Fill it with soft marshmellow yes men. Proceed to hire bad defensive and offensive coordinators one after another. Intervention was necessary to be saved from another potential bad hire; i.e., Hostettler over Kubiak. History of throwing B level players under the bus while making knee jerk personnel decisions. Arrogance with the soft Baltimore media. Now, lets try treating grown men like children. This has turned into comedy.
Terrance West. ok... ![]()
What is going on with the organization? Panic, knee jerk decisions, personnel turnover, inefficiency on the field, bad talent evaluation, draft busts, bad contracts, injuries. I no longer look for wins on Sundays. I'm looking to see what dysfunction arises this week.
All these personnel moves have to be depressing for the players. Seriously, if losing isn't enough to kill morale, watching teammates get thrown under the bus and released has to be a killer.
Wow. We're on our way to the playoffs now.
The lack of personality and the coaching deficiency on this team is whats killing it for me. I can't connect to these players because I don't know who half of them are. Just about every week we're releasing players and picking up other teams transients. Ex: the latest signee to the practice squad.
When we're watching the same mistakes week after week this is a coaching deficiency. I can't even get excited about Justin Forsett when he's not utilized. Timmy Jernigan (who could be a sack machine) also not used correctly. Arthur Brown's was high on alot of draft boards. Why can't this coaching staff get something out of him and stop worrying about his lack of special teams play. Utilize his strength which is speed at the LB position. Speaking of speed, where is Terrance Brooks? Can he really be worse than Kendrick Lewis? This team is full of special teamers and when called upon to play a position they're weak. What's exciting about Flacco keying on the same receiver every game and only completing 50% of the passes. I like Joe alot but that is a big weakness of his. Thank God for the kick butt TE's because right now they're the only thing giving me life.
Absolutely NOT!
You mean the efficient offense that got increased talent in Denver and has decreased productivity?
Its about time realistic people take a step back and look at who Gary Kubiak really is.
Gary Kubiaks offense got the Ravens to the AFC Championship game. Nothing else needs to be realized.
Geez, more knee jerk reaction from the coach. That's what they need. Jeremy Ross has done a good job thus far and who's idea was it to bring Asa back? It's time for Harbaugh to take some personal responsibility for the state of HIS team and stop throwing B level players under the bus. Who didn't see the implosion coming? They gutted the team after the Superbowl and brought in Harbaugh type players. These are his guys. The only reason it didn't happen last year is because a REAL coach named Gary Kubiak was here with his efficient offense. The defense still stunk.
Shame they cut Charles James for the dumpster fire that is Shareece Wright.
Right. I'm a big Ozzie stan so my judgement is skewed. He makes these moves based on what the coaches want. If Pees or Harbaugh wants Wright and Asa then Ozzie makes it happen. Again, another abysmal personnel move. The first ST play for the Ravens Asa flat out miss the ball carrier. It was ridiculous. Smh, I knew it was gonna be one of those games. And who didn't know what S. Wright was about? He's a pass interference player. Why don't the Ravens know that?
I talked to Camp yesterday at a "Casey Cares" event and he would have been full go for Arizona. He is 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We should have put Periman on IR and waited on Camp. Periman is not even close.
Harbs told Camp in front of the whole team that this is just a "speed bump" and he will have a long career here with the Ravens!
Camp did say to me that he is going to use this extended time off to get his body "right and ready" for catching 100 balls next year..
This is funny.
I cry to overtime I spend money going to watch this rubbish.
Tell me about it. The NFL experience is expensive. If this keeps up I won't be spending my hard earned money on it.
This franchise is nowhere without Oz. We don't win two SBs without him. Be careful what you wish for, folks. DeCosta might be great, but I'm not ready to take that risk in the next 5-10 years... Not yet.
And that's another MYTH. What's his claim to fame? DeCosta is just as responsible for this mess as Ozzie, Harbaugh and the rest of the scouting dept.
My biggest beef is the defensive backfield situation. This problem started after the 2012 SB season. The team knew that although Webb had enough speed at the time, he lacked enough quickness to prevent separation on a receiver's inside cut, he was highly susceptible to double moves, he had difficulty rerouting receivers (especially quick receivers like A.J Greene, Antonio Brown and T.Y. Hilton) and was sub-par in press. They also knew the back-ups were lacking some needed coverage and tackling ability. When Reid left, they had no play making Safety and with Pollard's departure, some of the toughness left. Ihedibo helped but they let him walk. Cary was OK but, he wasn't a top notch "cover corner". Then, to add "insult to injury", the Ravens signed several DB's that spent more time on IR than they did on the field.
With cornerback jimmy Smith, guards Marshal Yanda and Kelechi Osemele; kicker Justin Tucker; punter Sam Koch; safety Will Hill; and linebacker Courtney Upshaw going into Free Agency and little free cap space at this time, Ozzie has some challenges.
Dude, where have you been? J. Smith, W. Hill, and S. Koch are already signed. Should be no urgency to sign Upshaw thus leaving Tucker, Yanda, and Osemele. After re-structuring Flaccos contract there will be plenty money available.
All of the toughness left. Ray retired. The other toughness was purged from the team; Pollard, Leach, Ellerbee, Boldin, Reed. And the Eagles offered Cary WIlliams a little more $$. Somebody in the castle is awfully arrogant to purge that much talent. They're paying for it now.
If it wasn't for Gary Kubiaks offense they would have stunk last year too.
We Raven fans are going to be the ones crying when Torrey, Anquan and Kaepernick run up the score next week.
I wonder at times about the evaluation of talent post draft as well.
I am still stymied by how it is that Gino gradkowski was ever evaluated and deemed worthy of a single start. How is is possible that after a year of practice,an off season, another preseason that someone would allow him to replace Birk.
Someone(Ozzie,Harbaugh, etc.) watched him for a long time and said," yeah, we're good"
Gradkowski and Flacco have the same agent. I read somewhere he was drafted to appease the agent. You're right. Gradkowski shouldn't have never been a starter. He shouldn't even have been drafted.

I'm kinda happy for Butler because he wasn't getting a chance here. If given a chance in TB he will shine. That guy has great hands. Gotta feeling we'll be hearing Victor Ochi's name in the future too.
