Been looking for a local Nest for a few in the Elkridge area. Anyone know of any friendly spots ?
Stanley is my biggest surprise, When healthy, the guy solidifies his spot and gives Joe some much needed time. Not to mention Yanda being so good after his move on the line.
I do not understand why Weddle not making it in is a snub. He has shown terrible hands this season, tackling could be improved upon a lot and has been burnt in coverage numerous times. Does that sound Pro Bowl worthy. Look i know we as homers think we have the best talent but we do not. Weddle is a good player but he surely has had better years.
Camp is a waste of a team slot. I hate to pit it that way but he will never be a player who can play every week. He is a "broken" project and by that i mean he is hurt more than healthy. Other guys could use the touchs and time on the field who can consistently play and benefit the team. He looks like he could have been as welker type of impact guy but he is never around long enough to see and we have already had our share of starters on the sidelines the last 3 to 4 years.
I just do not see us beating Pitt in their house. I hate to say this but they are the best in our division. We should be the best but we are just a fragile team and are always one injury from collapse. Not sure how other teams recover so well but we just feel every injury on every side of the ball. Although i was so surprised how well our corners did with out Jimmy, Tavon is the real deal huh. Small but plays the ball very well.
The bad - The defense got pushed around A LOT, manhandled almost.
The good - Tavon held his own, SSR getting hurt just pissed him off, love that guy.
The obvious - Joe does not like 2 score leads.. LOL just kidding.
I personally just am going to enjoy the rest of the season. No expectations of anything past week 17. Just would like to see some form of stability on offense. Everyone has the right to be a little on edge with our offensive woes as it usually is our downfall season in and season out. So let's jusr enjoy it as this may be SSR's last season and he shows the only real passion on the team besides Wallace.
I am not sure we can hang the entire blame on any one person on our team. Although we RARELY ever play a complete game but it is never the same culprits who let the team down. It is like every game we can look so good and then out of nowhere the team becomes as dumb as a box of rocks. We all know the team is talented and could be the best in our division at the least but for some reason we come unglued every game.
The good, we did hold our own
The bad, none of our team stood out. Hester looked scared and timid. Not sure what West was afraid of (early in the game he caught a short out and immediately dropped when the defender had his back to him and he could have moved the chains).
Unknown, why the offensive play calls did not adapt to exploit the middle to deep threats more. A couple of hits down field would have stopped that pressure on Joe.
Sad, Tavon getting hurt. He is our silver lining and when Elam came in it totally changed the Pats offense. I hate to say but but Elam has no reason to be a NFL team in any capacity. If we need to win out to make the play offs we have a very hard road as the Steelers are firing on all cylinders and the Bengals are never a easy win so i think our christmas gift was the win against Miami.
Soo nice to see Pee's finally getting some good credit for getting our young stars where they are and dominating. So glad the front office has patience and knows more then we do.
Go Ravens !!
Why not leave things as they are and let the team form some chemistry and stop the OC merry go round.
The Good: Flacco given time in the pocket was throwing bullets.
The awesome: Perrimen long catch and run for a TD. Reminded me of Irving from size. speed and form.
The bad: We still need to get to the QB faster to help out our corners.
Was one of those games where you are elated from start to finish. The offense looked like it is getting into form at the perfect time. The Steelers won a huge game and Cincy looked good as well so we need to be at our best when we play them.
The only issue i see with the offense is the play of the offensive line. If we could even play average and give joe time to plant his feet he will throw bullets every time. If the offensive line could improve on run blocking our ground game would greatly improve. Instead the RB gets met in the backfield on a regular basis.
Stanley gets my vote. Don't get me wrong, all of our rookies listed are doing great but his being out definatley was felt and he handles his spot very well. Is a huge part of getting joe settled back in the saddle.

TBH the Niners D the entire game looks like ours in the 4th. But with that means we're gonna have to keep the game close the entire time. If we get a big lead, and big I mean 10 points I have zero confidence in either side of the ball coaches to call the right plays and we're gonna lose. As long as it's close, and even us e trailing going into the 4th we'll be ok and win, maybe even easily.
Same here, Teams like the Dolphins we have a better at beating. It is the pass happy teams that scare me. The Dolphins game should be another very close game that we win off of the leg of Tucker.
I am so excited after yesterdays game. Can anyone imagine just how much of a boost these games are having on our young players. Tavon, Breshad etc. Confidence growing with each play. Will pay off huge next season and beyond.
For me this was another great game in our division.
Offense looks better with each of the last 3 games.
Yanda is just a beast. hurt and still getting down field and making blocks
Perrimen for showing growth and helping in the win.
Penalty county has came down again.
SSS, where does that fire come from.. lol
Could not ask for more from this group of guys. Is a great game anytime we get the Big W.
The Cowboys are a perfect example of how a good winning streak can boost confidence. A lot of those guys are playing way above their talent levels.

I'm thankful that we have a SB winning QB(a lot of fans aren't)
I'm also thankful that the fans don't run this team.
Amen
I am Thankful for Getting a win against the Steelers, The Ravens Organization as a whole for bringing winning football back to Baltimore.

I like that idea a lot but unless they show us glaring weakness to stop our run we will try to force the ball downfield. For some reason They have a need to be a pass first team which would be great IF we had the O'line to pull it off but sadly currently we do not. I like running and controlling the tempo. A rested defense is much more effective as well.
I love playing Cinncy as much as the Steelers. Is always a very competitive game.

At some point, the reptiveness of how bad our O is needs to be out on the shoulders of our front office/scouts. They need to be able to draft/sign players that fit well and if that doesn't happen then they need to be let go. These scouts are drafting players for one type of scheme and the front office changes that scheme year in and out.
A coach should be able to see what his players can and cannot do and put them in the best position to succeed so start adjusting the "system" to fit the skill set of our talent. Any other way seems insane.
I love Division games but after the loss Sunday we are just playing for pride and reps for the young guys. So i say, let them loose and have fun. Maybe a few questions can be answered as to who stays and who goes next season.

Great point, that has been our saving grace all year. Relieves our corners pressure to have to cover for a longer period of time. What a pleasant surprise.
