  1. The DL is so ridiculously young and talented and loaded with defensive ends and tackles. Key veterans surrounded by young and cheap talent with high ceilings. Love it.
  2. The pick was SUPPOSED to be Peters, thats the news that is coming out. They were going to move ahead of Pitt for him and KC surprised them. Then Dupree went and Perriman was the only one left on their board worth taking. They wanted Peters, DeCosta really wanted Peters. They didn't expect to have to move up ahead of KC. Peters, Smith, and Webb would have been insane.
  3. Dude looks like a linebacker in his suit it is crazy he can run that fast. You put that type of raw talent and potential with a good organization and Flacco for his QB and watch him turn it around. But man, he rivals Suggs for King Ugly... good lord dude looks 40 and his hair starts halfway up his scalp. Not a good look bro, if your hairline is that crazy just go bald haha.
  4. I just hope that Schaub is a sign of dominoes beginning to fall. I think Housler is very big possibility, a low risk / high reward type signing and we will still draft a TE as well. Now onto receivers... I think Jennings or Crabtree is becoming more and more likely, and I'm good with either of those choices along with an early round receiver. If the major offseason acquisitions turned out to be Lewis, Schaub, Jennings/Crabtree, and Housler... yeah I'd be okay with that
  5. I would give up on of our 4ths (of which there will be 3 including a comp pick) for Stills. I like his potential in our offense and he is the burner that we are now lacking and I thought he was small but he looks to be about Torrey's size. He is still playing out his rookie contract and costs less than 2 mil over the next 2 seasons. It allows us to trade AND sign AND draft a receiver and completely retool our WR corps...
  6. Yes sir! A FA TE and WR are a must and these two are the most likely suspects. I really like Bowe's potential on a good team with a good QB I think it would re-energize him. It will be tough to squeeze him in to a cap friendly deal but I think its worth it. Whether Chandler, or Fasano, or Miller, or Housler, a free agent TE will go a long way and won't be expensive. I'd love a free agent corner and DT but the cap space is quickly drying up... Think of a Bowe/Smith/and first round WR combo... looks pretty good!
  7. I think these are 2 mid-level names that are solid choices, I like the Zach Miller idea more and more. There will be a lot of good mid-level depth available so we will come away with something good and we have the ammunition for a VERY good draft.
  8. Been on vacation so I realize this is a bit late but for me, the 2nd and 4th round selections REALLY messed up this draft. 2nd round - WRs Latimer, Robinson, and Landry were ALL there, any one of them especially the first 2 would have been excellent WR selections and we went with a DT instead... that kills me 3rd round comp - OTs, and a multitude of high upside corners and RBs and we went with a blocking TE... I'll never understand that one, he would have been there much later
  9. I thought for sure he was gone. Nice! But they also know they aren't finished at receiver, something tells me it's gonna be Smith and maybe Sanders - also a WR early in the draft so that is something good to look forward to. Also, they are in contact with Mack so they aren't messing around here. They know that they need to improve the OL dramatically and give Flacco more weapons.
  10. Steve Smith I think is about a 75% chance once FAs come to the castle they almost always sign. Owen Daniels with the Kubiak connection and basically half his coaching staff over here now, 75% chance if healthy, a free agent center is a must don't know if we can afford Mack, too $$ for a center, and then go into the draft thinking safety and WR in the first few rounds. See if Wagner can hold down RT I think we can manage that with 16 mil cap space
  11. Monroe, Steve Smith, Owen Daniels... yep, I'm on board so far! Man - Pitta and Owen Daniels would be sweet
  12. I think the Ravens want Edelman as well, but this is a big risk because Brady made Edelman better and Joe does not have that ability up to this point. I think that if the Saints release Lance Moore he can play a similar role for us at a much lower cost and would allow us to still bring in a bigger receiver like Decker, James Jones, Hakeem Nicks, Avant, etc. Gotta protect Joe, need another proven TE in addition to drafting one, and then stock up on receivers! Overall I think my offense wish list would be: LT Eugene Monroe C Alex Mack, Goodwin, or Smith TE Brandon Pettigrew WR Lance Moore WR Some combo of Decker/Jones/Nicks WR early round draft pick (1st or 2nd - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE sure handed Allen Robinson from Penn State on this team) WR position would be STACKED Defense is easier: LB Daryl Smith CB Corey Graham (if another team doesn't overpay) LB Rolando McClain (wants to come back and we need ILB) FS mid round draft pick and a mid cost vet This off season is gonna be good! So much money to spend!
