  1. No, I don't think we have a QB controversy. True, Mallett had "a" good game, but he's not in Joe's league yet. He's seems to have the right building blocks for a good foundation for a back-up, and for someone who can win a game for us and not just manage it. Joe's our man...and we shouldn't lose sight of that. We've ridden Joe's arm and ability many years to the play-offs and to one superbowl. I'm glad we have Mallet as a backup, but we'll stick with Joe as our main go-to guy! He's not perfect, but he wins.
  2. I have to admit, initially I thought the Squeelas would win. And I never expected "these" Ravens to actually play like real "Ravens" and answer da call, but they did. And I'm proud of them. I thought these new Ravens would put up a little fight, but eventually come up short like we have in the past. But they put on a real show yesterday and showed what they're made of. And RavenNation was out in force yesterday at the Bank, making some noise!!
  3. Maybe it'll help you forget you got ya butt handed to you yesterday by the Baltimore Ravens! You aint in Kansas no more, Toto. You came to Ravens country...you aint know?? You betta ask somebody. Don't you know anything about this rivalry? It aint about laying down and playing dead. You saying what you said Snoop, says a lot about your character. It says "you're a quitter." When times get tough, you're ready to give up and throw in the towel...the "terrible towel," that is. lol
  4. we need to be cheering for the Jets, Cleveland, and Denver for these last games to keep the Squeelas crying at home on the couch! The Bengals probably won't play their starters since they're already in the playoffs, and that should ensure a Broncos victory...assuming the Broncos play their starters.
  5. ...I like his music, but Snoop sound like a lil' whiner in his lil twitter video!! What a hata!! Would they lay down and let us win if the situation was reversed?? Hell no ! Snoop a trip, man. He need to stop playin' and just admit we was the better team yesterday. And be a graceful loser, and stop cryin' all da time. What a jerk!
  6. I like Mallet, but I also like "Renner"...the qb who played lights out for us during the pre-season. I heard he was on the practice squad. don't know if he still is or not.
  7. the way we played today is how we usually play, minus all the penalties. We need to get back to Raven football, and we'll be ok. Oh, and get our starters back on the field next year.
  8. we swept the Squeelas! And this last time we did it with a 3rd stringer QB. What a rush!!! lol
  9. ...yeah, they're in a whole 'nother league than us this year! They're like a speeding locomotive moving full-steam ahead, and we're this little mouse standing on the tracks with our arm out-stretched saying "stop!" And they roll over top of us like we're not even there.
  10. I feel you! I wanna go all out and say we'll beat the Squeelas and spoil their play-off chances but I think the result will be the same as it has been for most of the season for us (before we started playing teams with winning records). By that I mean, we'll make it close, it could go either way in the last minute or so of the game...and then like usual, we'll give up one BIG splash play or make one stupid mental mistake resulting in a penalty that advances the ball while in their possession allowing them to score a TD or field goal. It'll probably be a field goal to pay us back for last time. But this time their kicker won't miss. How ironic!!
  11. ...our secondary stinks and so does there's. But one of the main differences is, their offense is red hot, while ours isn't even mediocre. Remember, the first time we beat them was a fluke, but who knows...maybe lightning "WILL" strike twice in the same place. Keep ya fingers crossed, true believers!! lol
  12. ...of course Tomlin's gonna play it down like it's just another game, and the fact that it's in Baltimore has no more significance than any other location or game. He's gotta say that to maintain his cool so as not to put anymore pressure on his guys. I don't care what Harbaugh says to the press, he would love to be the spoiler to end the Squeelas's season. You know "misery loves company." If we can put the double-whammy on the Squeelas by sweeping them this season and knocking them out of the play-offs, that would be the silver lining in this gray cloud of a season!
  13. RAVENS vs STEELERS: usually no matter how bad we're doing, we always get up for the Squeelas! But with this group of Ravens, I don't expect them to play like Ravens or with swagger/attitude. The real, original Squeela hata Ravens we will have on the field are: Yanda, Dumervil, Osemele, & Webby. That's all we got, man. Antonio Brown is gonna have a field day. I think we'll stop'em on the ground, but when they go to the air and Big Ben starts to pick apart our defense, we're done. He met get another 5 tds on and Antonio Brown may get almost 200 receiving yards. None of our guys can cover him. Webby? All he's gonna do is fall down all day!!
  14. I think Kamar Aiken is developing into a #1 receiver. I already like him better than Torrey...cause he fights for the ball and attacks the ball, and protects it when he gets it. And because he plays with fire! Each game he's getter better and better, just like Crockett Gilmore was before he got hurt. If SSS comes back, I can see Aiken being the #2 receiver and continuing to be mentored by SSS for the year. Whatever happened to Marlon Brown? He showed such promised 2 yrs ago. Then they put him on the bench to evaluate some of the other receivers, and by the time they got back around to him it's like he got cold, and loss a step or 2.
  15. cobrajet? after this season, which is what the votes are based on, Tucker's not number 1 anymore. To me he is, but not to the people that make the decisions.
  16. if we do continue down this horrible path of losing, I can hear people now, in the future saying, "ever since Ray Lewis retired they've been crap!"
  17. ...I'm glad we're officially done. Now we don't have to keep hoping on a prayer that somehow we'll make it in. Even if we did, we'd only embarrass ourselves in front of a national audience who'd be wondering how we made it in.
  18. Robbie29? I hate to say it, but the 2016 season might be just as disappointing with a lot of changes in our personnel on and off the field. And then a getting to know each other process all over again. And Perriman? Who is he? We still don't know what he's about. If he's one of those guys, like Campanaro, who's good but gets hurt all the time he won't do us much good on the sideline.
  19. we loss to a team with a winning record, no surprise there. We were no competition after the half when they figured out we had no bite. Harbaugh shouldn't be surprised. He said it's the worst we played all year...I disagree. It was consistent with the way we've played all year...no offense, no defense, blowing opportunities, unable to score in the red zone, blowing coverage (Webby), etc. I didn't hear Jimmy Smith's name once all day. The offensive bright spots are: Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Butler, Daniel Brown, Buck Allen (even though he fumbled today), Crocket Gilmore, Max Wms, Juice, and Chris Givens. Did I miss anyone?
  20. Crockett reminds me of a mini Gronk! A powerhouse, bulldozer that takes 2 or 3 guys to wrestle him to the turf! He doesn't care about getting hit and doesn't usually go down with first contact.
  21. ...it really did look like we might pull this one out under the wire, but as has been the way all our games end this year, we're one play short of getting the "W." Our penalties were considerably less than normal but we gotta be able to move the chains consistenly on 3rd now and stay away from the 3rd and long situations where they know we're gonna put the ball in the air. I thought we could've used our tightends more, before Gilmore got hurt. I hope he's not out for any extended period of time, cause Max Wms is already out.
  22. ...and here I was all ready to accept another winnable game as a loss. I have to admit it was a special kind of win in the waning seconds of the game. Although as was mentioned in Eisenburg's 5 Thoughts...it should never have come down to this last minute shoot out. But at least Cleveland didn't sweep us this season. I see, as a team, we do have potential and I ocassionally I see "flashes of greatness." There is hope for us next year, RavensNation!
  23. ...so you see all our luck isn't bad, we got flexed out of prime time. That's a break we need, cause I'm pretty sure we'd have humiliated ourselves in front of millions of viewers. I think we're the worst team in the league this year. I also don't think we'll beat Cleveland tonight, the Steelers, nor the Bengals. We're just not up to the task. That "next man up" mentality don't work when you gotta keep saying "next man up" cause your whole team of starters is on the sideline hurt.
  24. I would prefer Bryan Renner as backup to Schaub, cause he did well for us the short time he played for us. Clausen seems to have a tendency to throw too many interceptions, for my tastes.
  25. Why am I not surprised?? All of our other good players are hurt, why not Zuttah too? This season is like Murphy's law for us..."what can go wrong, will go wrong." We just can win, for losing...know what I mean? We're so lame this year, we couldn't win a game by default...we'd find a way to even screw that up!!!
