  1. we need whole new coaching. offense, defense, and head. If it's obvious to the fans, why isn't it obvious to Steve? That is an excellent question that, for the life of me, I cannot come up with an answer for. I Have to believe that this next season will Absolutely be a make or break year for Harbaugh. He Needs to get us back into the playoffs or he won't be getting another chance. It very well could be yet another tough year to watch and be a Ravens fan. And I'm stuck with it because NOTHING could change the fact that I'm a RavenManiac. That's for life. I honestly hope that I am 100% wrong about Harbaugh and will very happily eat my crow if he proves me wrong. I would just LOVE for that to happen. For real. But, I suspect that even if that were to happen, while yes, that crow would be eaten, doubts about Harbaugh would most likely remain for a while longer. I think if Harbs doesn't get us back to the playoffs this upcoming season, "he's done."
  2. I like Weddle and he tries really hard, but he's slipping too. Sometimes he doesn't seem strong enough to bring down some of these big, muscular receivers or RBs. We always get good playmakers on the end of their career so we don't get much benefit from having them. It's like they say, "you get what you pay for."
  3. ...what pass rush, Rav'n Maniac???! We don't have one. Sizzle and Doom have fizzled out due to injuries and old age. They've both loss a step or two over these last coupla' years. I do admire both their play 3 or 4 yrs back, but right now it's abysmal.
  4. It not a good defense but no matter what you can't have the defense play most of the other quarters. The offense 3 and outs is un acceptable. The Ravens had nearly a 10 minute time of possession advantage over the Stillers, so that excuse doesn't wash for that game. Same for the Raiders game and the Giants game, also situations where the defense crumbled in the end. I still for the life on me can not understand why Webb and Wright did not even try to tackle the receiver in bounds. Webb actually pushes him out of bounds on the first pass I watches that series three times and one thing stuck out NO LEADERSHIP. Ray & Ed would have been all over it. i.e Super Bowl. There is so much wrong with this team its impossible to nail it down to a couple of things. I know, I saw that too. Where Webby pushed the Steeler receiver out of bounds instead of tackling him in-bounds. That's a rookie mental mistake that Webby shouldn't be making at this point in his career. The receiver was fighting for extra yardage...maybe a yard or 2, but let him have it cause the clock is more important at that stage of the game.
  5. ...why was Mike Wallace only targeted once or twice the whole game??!?! If SSS can get open so can MW. I know Wallace was furious after the loss. They never showed him on the field after the game or even during the game. And the last play of the game why would our strategy be to throw the ball in the middle of the field with 4 secs left for minimal yardage when we should've had 8 guys shoot down to the endzone and wait for a hail mary and hope one of our guys gets the tipped ball. That hook and ladder crap never works (if that's what they were gonna try)! Hadn't the ball been tipped our receiver would've been tacked on the spot anyway...there were at least 2 Squeelas closing in on him. Then the other irritating thing is, during they're last possession, our defenders (Webby) didn't seem to realize we need to keep those guys inbounds, no matter how hard they fight. On they're last drive we let about 3 of their receivers fight their way to the sidelines to stop the clock.
  6. ...we always do this. We either have the game in hand and let the other team hang around long enough to mount a come-back or we're behind the whole game and fight our way back in the last minute or 2 only to finally lose by giving up a splash play in the 2ndary or allowing a rushing score. Just smh.... Here's my prediction for next week: we'll beat Pittsburgh in a tight one at Heinz field to take the lead in the division only to lose to Cincinnatti the next week and hand the division title right back over to the Squeelas and be stuck looking for a wild card spot.
  7. there were many things in this game that were irritating to watch for me. One glaring thing was the way our receivers keep stopping short of the sticks that would give us a first down. We were being forced to take what they gave us, which wasn't enough to sustain a drive. This happened so many times Monday I can't count'em. Same thing...1,2,3 and out. The defense was gassed, so of course, the Pats were well-rested and started pushing our guys around and no one could get to Brady...he just picked us apart in the pocket. We only got to him one or twice all night. While Flacco spent most of the night running for his life. And then the other thing I hate most of all, which was a staple in our defense for the longest over the past few years...we would fight hard from behind in a game in the last minute, and leave too much time on the clock while the other team gets the ball and advances the ball down the field in big chunks until finally going for the jugular with a TD pass to the endzone! End of game...
  8. ...soon as they announced Jimmy Smith was out, I already knew we would be vulnerable in the secondary. Powers and Tavon Young can't cover 6.6", 200+ lbs of Dez Bryant. Tavon is only 175lbs, 5'9. For Dez, it was like taking candy from a baby. I know our mentality is "next man up," but that mentality doesn't always work in our favor...no disrespect to Tavon, he did the best he could.
  9. In addition to Yanda, I hope we get back CJ Mosely too and I hope Crockett Gilmore can play Sunday too. And I think we need to let Campanaro replace Hester for running back kicks. Hester fair catches too many balls when he has room to run. Anyone else notice that about Hester?
  10. ...as an armchair offensive/defensive coach, I noticed some chinks in the Cowboys' armor last night. #1 they have no pass rush and the 2ndary is vulnerable. Dak was successful mostly because he had all day in the pocket on most of his throws, so of course, he's eventually gonna find someone open. He won't have that luxury with T-Sizzle bearing down on him every play breathing fire & brimstone. I think Dak only got sacked once all night and was hardly hit or hurried. When we play him he will get hit plenty and hurried. We should be able to put the fear of God in him after Juvon, Jernigan, Brandon Wms, or T-Sizzle fall on him a few times. lol I didn't mean to say the Cowboys don't have a pass rush, I meant to say he didn't get any pass rushes last night from the Squeelas, so Dak had all night to sit in the pocket and survey the field back & forth before releasing the ball. But I think he is naturally a "quick release" type QB.

  12. I'll be eating crow too if we lose. I couldn't stand idly by while those Cowboy fans diss our team and our city!
  13. ...we're always the underdog in big games anyway. The way I see it we do stand a pretty good chance. The number # ranked run defense against the number #1 ranked top rusher in the NFL. The immovable object vs. the irresistible force! I see it as being a low-scoring game, since our defense has now officially gelled. We keep Zeke Elliot out of the end-zone and we stand a chance. And having said that, that will keep the game close throughout; and with Tucker putting up points with field goals (like last night with Seattle & the Patriots) that'll give our offense a chance to click and get on-track. We tend to come out fast and fizzle out toward the end but for once I'd like to see us come out slow and come on toward the end and just win baby!!
  14. ...we need this game, and we need Ray Lewis to come by training camp and help pump these boys up! I'm so tired of hearing the cowboy fans all year talking trash. Today one of them was talking smack and even said "Joe Flacco's a bum!" I wanted to punch him in the mouth so bad, but we were at work. If Joe is a bum, he's our bum and only we can call him that. lol
  15. ...since we started playing Dallas in 2000, we've beaten them all 4 times we've played them. And coupled with the fact that we have the #2 defense in the league...and our offense is starting to gel, I think that gives up a pretty good chance for an upset!!
