“There’s a lot things you can say about that. I mean if I went into somebody else’s work and paid money to watch them work and they did a bad job, I would probably boo them too.”

On Monday morning in a Jacksonville Starbucks, 17 year old barista Tammy struggled with the espresso machine while star quarterback Blake Bortles eagerly awaits his morning cup. After several minutes of complications and a desperate plea for help from a senior staff member, the 24-year old starting QB begins a long, drawn out "Boooooooooo" that echos through the chain coffee shop.

When asked for comment Tammy stated that today's performance was "a disappointment" and that many of the difficulties she experienced in the espresso machine "would be straightened out by next week." Store manager Bert also echoed the sentiment and stated that the young barista needed time to adjust to the new industrial brewing system.

Meanwhile, Starbucks customers remain disappointed with the once proud coffee shop and after years of being told of the promise and development have petitioned for fresh leadership at both the manager and barista level. In the meantime, there is no telling how much longer Franchiser Kahid Shahn will be patient with his store's lack of success.

What happens with CB Jerraud Powers, has he any injury or something?

He played horribly in the preseason and Levine and Young have been doing a good enough job on defense and they also play special teams. Those two are probably the reason why he's inactive.

  3. It's still way too early to tell but as of right now I have to say Stanley. Our run blocking has been poor but the pass protection has been pretty good for the most part and Stanley and Lewis have been a big reason why.Plus, one thing you have to take into consideration is we might not have either Young,Moore,Dixon,Lewis or Judon on the team if we made that trade.Young has made some great tackles and that ST play,Moore was a few inches away and Pitta being set from being our leading receiver last week,Dixon looked like our best back in preseason,Lewis has been an ok LG and Judon has been a pleasant surprise since the first game of pre season. It's hard to justify trading what Stanley has been/could be plus what one or two of those guys have been/could be for what we've seen so far from Ramsey and where he can go from there.

Well, I sure hope like hell that we just played down to our competition in the Browns. Because if not, we won't win very many games if we play like that against the better teams in the league. Browns may not win a game all year.

A RG3 led browns team may not win many games, but a McCown led team would.Theres no shame in having a McCown led browns team put up a fight against you.Go and look at his numbers from other games last year and the numbers he put up with the bears in 2013.The browns team we faced last sunday with McCown is not the same team that lost to the eagles and wont be the same team that takes the field next week.

I'm not so sure about this game. I think the Ravens can handle Ivory and Yeldon... But Robinson and Hurns are one of the best tandems in the league. Bortles can fling the ball. Julius Thomas will be an issue. The Ravens need pressure on the Jaguars o-line to limit the big plays..

They had all of that last year and only scored 19 points on us(not including the field goal that shouldnt have been) and that was vs a lesser version of our defense. Most of Bortles yards and tds are just garbage time stats.I read somewhere that Bortles has 3 career 1 st quarter tds.He basically pads his stats vs prevent defenses after the jags are losing.Just look at yesterday. His stat line was horrible until the 4th quarter when SD let up.I'm not guaranteeing a win or implying this is a gimmie, but unless things go wrong in some way like the first quarter of last game, this shouldn't be as difficult as some of you are making it out to be.

  6. “We saw this at times last year and to a greater degree in 2013, but a Joe Flacco-led offense simply does not work without some kind of running game to set up play-action opportunities.”

So were going to judge how well a Flacco led offensse works based off of the two years we had no weapons at WR and TE?Everyone Flacco threw to in 2013 beside Torrey and Dickson are out of football and even with the inexperienced players he was throwing to last year we still had a top ten offense before he went down. This year Joe has weapons and even without the run game hes still doing his thing and I believe he'll continue to do his thing.

Division games are never easy, and playing the Browns are usually ugly games, but hey Joe had 300, Pitta had 100, and Wallace 2 TD's, and thank god we have a kicker.........And i think we all know the team was playing with pretty heavy hearts......Wright has had a jeckle and Hyde 2 weeks, last week he was a stud, this week a dud, but we got through it and won....2-0 is nice....

Wright tackled well last week but when you look at the all 22 film his coverage was lacking just like in this game.Tyrods inability to read a defense and make the right throws is what made him look good.

I was gonna bring up the fact that sweeping the Browns is just as vital to the Ravens' chances of playoff contention as fruits and vegetables are to the health of human body (corny analogy, but it is what it is). However, after I saw the Falcons lose their home opener after being undefeated in the Matt Ryan Era, it's basically pointless.

You would think with how great our defense played, we'd be able to hold them to like 10 points or whatever. Game by game basis people. I still expect our offense to suffer from growing pains. Flacco REALLY has to stop playing timid.

What does the Falcons losing have to do with our games vs Cleveland?I was predicting they would lose that game.Anyone who has been following Atlanta and Tampa closely knows that the Falcons are a dumpster fire and the Bucs are a young team on the come up.

The only other post that made me chuckle was how confident a lot of them are that they will be able to run the ball at will on our defense, and specifically, how some people think that Dumervil being out makes our run defense easy to run on. Don't quite get that one.

He's an under-rated run defender, but I don't worry about the run defense because he's out.

That made me laugh too lol.I also laughed when a poster said Jernigan was one of our best guys in the front seven then in the same sentence said almost verbatim "and to be nice I'll throw Williams in there too".
