Pretty sure josh Gordon will be a RFA next year

I don't think Harbaugh will be willing to give second chances after what happened a year ago.

The 2016 FA class is pretty much blahhh at every position we have a need at.The only guy who I like is Gipson and I'm not sure if he'll reach FA or if our FO will be willing to give him the contract he's going to demand.I also wouldn't mind us giving Aldon Smith a contract,but I think Harbaugh wants to stay far away from problematic guys like him.I read someone mention Josh Gordon.You can forget about him for the same reasons.

Offseason: " Man,'insert random UDFA WR on the practice squad here' is a stud.He just needs a chance.We don't need to sign 'insert proven FA WR whose name alone will get you a million negs in march'.Plus there's that other guy we drafted in the seventh round.We don't need to resign Torrey.We're crazy deep at WR.It's the deepest spot on the team."

Reg season: "What the heck?!!!Why is Flacco forcing the ball to one guy.Why is he forcing balls into bad coverages and throwing ints.Stop apologizing for him.Our receiving corp is solid.What is his problem?????"

Here is a "stat" for you guys that love that stuff.

 

According to the Ravens PostGame Live crew....Joe Flacco is 0-8 whenever he throws the ball over 40x.  0-8!  Wow! 

 

Today he was 33/53, 343 yds, 2 TD's, 2 INT's.

 

This is NOT an air it out passing type of team imo!  The personnel is not there for it.  The Ravens have lost their "smashmouth" identity and need to re-establish that to help Flacco cause he needs that to excel...it's obvious!

That stat is misleading.If he really is 0-8 when throwing the ball 40+ times,then it's because he only gets to throw that much in games that we're behind in and are about to lose.If we're down two td's or something like that in the fourth quarter,we're more than likely going to lose that game and Flacco is going to end up with 40+ throws because we don't have time to run the ball.It's not like we'd automatically lose if the  game plan was to throw that many times.

Some plays Flacco has made through his career are just plain idiotic. Like the interception he threw off his back foot! He has been playing worse this year than his rookie year and that is shocking. I for one thought in all seriousness this was the year Flacco would be a MVP candidate by throwing over 4500 yds with 30 TD and less than 10 INTs for the season and leading us to the sB! That is Koolaid drinking that I regret very much. I had just lost a sense of reality about our Ravens I suppose. I just thought they would get it done one way or the other but I was wrong big time. These 2015 Ravens have been atrocious. They haven't shown heart and grit like the Ravens of old. I never much bought into locker room leadership including in the Ray Lewis era. Boy was I wrong again! This team has no leaders or men with grit with the exception of Steve Smith a recent import. It is sad to see the history of our great franchise being vilified and mocked nation wide. Thank you coaches and players alike.

What in the world made you think that with the WR and TE corp we went into the season with?I'm not trying to be antagonistic,I'm just dumb founded that you and a lot of others actually thought we had that type of passing attack.

I don't see why so many people think the 2010 draft was so bad just because the first two picks were bust.We got Pitta,Jones and Dickson that year.That's a great haul.That's two above average starters and a competent backup who played like a starter for one year.If Pitta was taken in the first,Jones in the second and Dickson in the third(which I think he was),then you guys would be saying we did well that year.

The turning point of our season came on the play that Suggs went down.I didn't think it would be this ugly but I knew we more than likely wouldn't make the playoffs without him.

I forgot to add that Tucker was a UDFA in 2012 so he was another one of those "free draft picks" that you can throw in there.

This what I see :

 

2015 : Unknown but the only standout has been Nick Boyle and sometimes Davis when he doesn't take plays off

 

2014 : Mosley looked great rookie year, this year just average. Jeringan plays hard when he wants to, Gilmore looks good.

 

2013: Brandon Williams is the stud, Juice is ok and Wagner has looked terrible this year.

 

2012: KO is the only worthwhile mention

 

2011: Jimmy Smith looked good until this year, Torrey was good while here.

 

2010: Disaster beyond Arthur Jones and Pitta

 

2009: Oher was decent, Kruger played well his final year, Webb was good till hurt.

 

2008: Flacco and Rice were tops

You forgot to add McPhee to that 2011 class and Dannell Ellerbe was a UDFA in 2009 so I would add him to the 2009 class also because I consider UDFA's to be free draft picks from that year.

Every good player we have is injured lol.

I wonder if the browns will let Gibson test free agency next year.I'd love to steal him from them.

Is there a rule against starting threads after a game?I wanted to comment on that CJ Mosley thread.His play needs it's own thread.Shoving everything into one thread is a conversation killer.I'm not trying to call out any mods with this post either.

Gillmore being out is a big deal.We need Gillmore to get healed for this offense to move the ball.His presence was missed in Pittsburgh.

He beat Sherman for a 52 yard catch in his rookie year.Thats something I cant see anyone else on this roster outside of Smitty doing.

I assume he means when we traded FOR Boldin.

He's still a little off then.We didn't trade a 3rd and a 7th for Boldin.We traded a 3rd and a 4th and received a 5th.

Boldin commanded a third and seventh. Can't see Tate going for more than that, if that, with how lackluster his start has been.

Didn't we get a sixth round pick for Boldin?I don't remember the front office getting a third rounder for him.Also,Tate is about 5 years younger than Boldin was and is coming off a good career in seattle and a 90+ catch,1300+ yard season.I think Detroit will want a second and his price will be atleast a third and a fourth or/and a player.Seattle just gave up a first Jimmy Graham and Tates worth is only a few notches under Graham's.

I'd be really happy with Tate, him and Steve would be a great duo. Tate would require a pretty hefty pick though.

I'd be ok with giving up a second for him.

Waller is really an unknown and to put it bluntly Aiken and Brown suck. The WR talent shortfall is astounding.

 

Name another WR corps that is as bad as Baltimores?

 

Aiken - Crap

Brown - Crap (and on PS)

Camp - Made of tissue paper

Smith - Retiring and broken back/ribs

M Brown - Plays like he is 5'3" and 110lbs

Perriman - "Blessed"

Givens - unsure if we get 2012 or 2013/14 Givens

I literally loled.

The receivers don't fumble and throw picks. I don't hate Flacco, just hate stupid posts pardoning his play.

Flacco won.........but it wasn't his best day by far.

 

I gotta tell you, I don't think he sees the rush...........nor reads a defense especially well..........I like him, but we have to run the ball for him to be effective. .......hes nowhere near the best that lead their teams by taking the team upon their own shoulders.

Nothing was stupid about my post,bro.And I'm not pardoning anything..I'm not saying he had a good day.The point I was trying to make was that it wasn't all his fault.The knee fumble was ugly but that pick was just a good call by the defensive coordinator.Sometimes those guys make plays too.Our line sucks in both pass and run blocking and we already had little to nothing in the passing game before losing Smitty,Gilmore and Campanero.Also,did you really just say he doesn't read a defense well over one misread/pick?Stop it!We don't have to run the ball well for him to be successful.We just need to stop trotting out Aiken,Brown and every other rookie or scrub we can find and get him some real talent to throw to.Or atleat find some people who belong in the NFL.Besides Smitty,no one else in our WR corp belongs in the NFL unless its on special teams.

What happened with a mod and who was out of line?

I just heard Micheal Irvin and Marshall Faulk say Flacco was off today and that he should've just thrown the ball up on that 4th down.Off day throwing to who and throw it up and let who make a play?????Should he have lit up the steelers without his top three playmakers on the field?Should he really have thrown up a errant pass and leave the game in the hands of Marlon Brown,Kamar Aiken and Darren FREAKING Waller?These Flacco narratives kill me.Stop acting like Flacco sucks and just admit that we have nothing around him on offense and our line was horrible.

Predictions for this game are reminiscent of the Oakland game...no way can the Ravens lose....unless they lose.

As soon as the schedule came out I knew that the raiders game could be a trap game.I also had a dream during that week that we would lose lol.This game is completely different though.I really don't see 2015 Vick playing well enough to beat us.Even at his best he's good for atleast two turnovers on a stage like this.I also don't believe the steelers defense is all that great against the pass.The only thing that scares me about this game is Crockett being out.He was a big reason for our offense playing the way it has for the last two weeks.But even with that I still think we win by ten.

Did I post something in here that was deleted?I got a notification saying that someone quoted a post I made but both their post and my post is gone and I don't remember what I said and I definitely don't remember saying anything worthy of being deleted.

Our team isn't built around the offense or the QB saving the day.I'm surprised Joe is having the success he's been having these last two games with the lack of talent we have at the skill positions on offense.With that being said though,I would still like to see Joe put the team on his back and play a mistake free/flawless game tomorrow night.

In time our TE corp will be a problem for the res of the league.Count on it!!
