We're obviously in rebuild mode. It's the reason the front office traded Timmy and is going in on defense. We'll have to sit through another season of bad offense and next off season the O will get the love the D got this year....HOPEFULLY!
And now the refs blatantly rob the Texans and give the Raiders another win.Im done with football.DONE!
PFF is hilarious. They gave Josh McCown a higher rating than Flacco for last Thursday nights game lol.I realize Flacco had about 4 What the heck? moments but I cant take your ratings seriously if you think McCown outplayed Flacco.
And for the record Im not a "Flacco apologist".Ive always been a fanboy of his,but Ive had moments this year when the thought of the ravens needing to draft a new QB has crossed my mind.
Flacco had a bad first half so that probably erased whatever "ratings" they gave him in the second. They usually make good points but its subjective so who really cares?
Don't let you homerism fool you.  You must have completely wiped out the memory of how Flacco played in 1st half.
Mission number one next offseason needs to be getting Joe back to playing good football again.I know he's not elite but he's better than what we've seen from him in these past two seasons. And he's def better than what we've seen this season.Whatever it is that we had before when he used to play good,we need to get for him again!
Why is it when Flacco isn't lighting up stat sheets everyone outside of Baltimore accesses his play in a vacuum, but when other top QBs are off the media will bring up WRs  that aren't getting separation,an o line that isn't protecting and everything else. Before week 3 when Aaron Rogers wasn't playing well no one outside of Skip Bayless looked at it as his fault.Do I have a point or am I juseing a homer?
It's ok to be a homer.
Homers are the life blood of a place like this. My beef is the O co ordinator team. Slow starts while every top scoring team executes Q1 to 4. We seem to be playing behind then even rather than taking it to them from the first whistle. Besides this, Ravens special teams have been unlucky. Clearly, this is not a Joe Flacco dilemma.Â
It could be worse for us like Miami or Cleveland fans experience ![]()
Big HOMER here.... Flacco does not get the credit he deserves. I believe mostly because during the regular season he just puts up OK numbers for his stat line. But 1 stat line they fail to mention is the W / L  Our Flacco has contributed to a whole lotta W's and in the post-season we have all watched him out-perform the Highly elite QB's Brady and Manning heck if Evans would have chosen to hold onto the football Flacco would have lead the Ravens to 2 Super Bowls.![]()
Watching Bortles last Sunday and Tannehill tonight makes me realize how spoiled we are with Flacco.I'd like for to improve his flaws just as every other Ravens fan would, but it could be alot worse.I couldn't imagine having my teams SB hopes rest on the shoulders of some of these guys like Bortles,Tannehill,Dalton,Stafford and Alex Smith. They're the ultimate tease. So close yet so far away.
Very true, although I think Patriots fans probably think the same thing when they watch Flacco.
i think most people who bash flacco at every turn legitimately dont watch football. i cant imagine a ravens fan who actually thinks flacco is a bad qb has ever watched football for more than 4 hours a week when the ravens are playing. if you watch entire games league wide, youll see that no qb is even close to perfect and not many do as well as flacco and especially in big moments. weve all seen tom brady play REALLY bad at times, aaron rodgers has had some very ugly games, peyton manning was abysmal in nearly every playoff game he ever played, look at what roethlisberger did vs philly and realize hes good for about 4 or 5 of those games every year.Â
I'm SO SICK AND TIRED of hearing about the cowboys non stop whenever I warch an NFL show.Who cares about a team that goes 4-12 or 6-10 every year? It's like being forced to hear about the browns. How are people so entertained by the storylines of such a horrible team? *rant over*
Enough is enough!! I have had it with these monkey fighting Cowboys on this Monday to Friday tv!!!
Sorry, I'll see myself out
its always been bad, but its ridiculous this year, like completely ridiculous. theyre now making it beyond obvious that they favor certain teams in the media, they are really shoving them down our throats
A billion dollar stadium and practice facility in a flat brown heat wave/flood prone area always gets attention. Is it the cheerleaders??? Is it the mascot's frozen smile head mask???  It must make the other three teams in their division more (your choice of derogatory word) upset than you.Â
Karlos Williams was just cut and we're number 6 on the waiver wire.Should Ozzie make it happen? We have competition going on at RB but he's ATLEAST better than Buck and Lorenzo,IMO.
How in the hell did that horrible Carolina team fro last season become world beaters this season? They got blown out six different times, lost six straight games and only made the playoffs because of a weak division. What changed?
What does Kanye West have anything to do with how the NFL works, FlackAttack? Would it be better if it was Taylor Swift?
i'll let you sit and dwell while trying to figure it out
You probably like Ed Sheeran too
I was just watching some game tape on Corey Coleman and I must say,if the Ravens traded back, picked up some good picks and drafted him instead of staying put and drafting Laquon,I wouldn't be THAT upset.I'd be disappointed, but not completely upset.
If the Pats are going to lose a game this season, tonight will be the night.
I guess you three were right.Miami's offense really let me down.
The Pats will always find newer ways to cheat. I am convinced of it. How else does it explain that every time they have a scandle they pose a threat to go undefeated? Next will be Molegate. With other people embedded in other organizations secretly reporting back to the Pats
It's obviously a joke for those who don't get it
It figures we'd have a top ten pick worthy season the year that there are no Julio Jones,Aj Green or Calvin Johnson type of players in the draft.
Pass rush mos def
@LosT_in_TranSlatioN Talent wise our WR's are the worst part of this team. They may not be what's getting us beat, but they're the eye sore when you're looking at the depth chart on paper.
Our safety play is probably the second biggest problem. They're a part of the reason why our CB's look so bad.
I wish our pass catchers were as good at breaking tackles as NE's are.
There is only one Gronk and won't ever be another like him.
I haven't seen enough of them to know that they aren't lol
@JO_75 Gronk is a beast but Edelman is underrated when it comes to slipping a tackle and getting YAC.
Can someone explain to me what type of voodoo the Seahawks are using to fit all of these huge contracts under the cap?
They already had to cut a starting veteran DT and don't quote me on this but thru NFL Sirius sattelite I heard they have 96 mil given out to the top 10 players this year and they're gonna have to depend on youth to fill out the rest of the roster. They're gonna have to depend on youth for rotational depth and you've got Bennett and Chancellor both upset now about their contracts which could hurt team unity. Welcome to Pay the QB ville.
The Seahawks are relatively new to being a relevant team so they didn't have any good players being paid big money.
Part of the way around it is the signing bonus only counts 20% towards the cap so the 31mil only counts 6.2mil
