  1. We need to make an offer. This trade could save our offense this season. They acknowledged that the team needs help at TE and this opportunity is golden.
  2. It's a divisional road game on a short week just 4 days after playing the bengals(who are another tough divisional opponent). It's also Bell's first game back, our 3rd road game in our first 4 games and on top of all of that we usually lose in pittsburgh anyway. It's not really an attitude it's just me looking at it with my bias put to the side. Also we don't have the offense to keep up with denver.Thats a game we might have to put up 30 to win and as our team stands right now I don't think we can do that on the road.Especially not at the pace that denver can score.
  3. That first four game stretch stole my little bit of optimism.Denver and Pittsburgh are both losses IMO.That Cin game could be a loss too.The last four games also look tough.
  4. I'm foreseeing a mid teens 2016 first round draft pick.
  5. I haven't been paying much attention to the NFL lately so I'm probably late, but undervaluing Housler like that was a bad move. Our offensive skill positions are looking bad right now. This doesn't look like a playoff caliber offense to me.I hope Ozzie and company have a plan for a trade or see something in the draft that I'm not seeing.Maybe we're waiting for Gresham to get desperate so we can snatch him up for cheap. He'd be a steal if we could sign him to a 1 year $2 million deal like Housler and he's able to bounce back to form by mid season.
  6. I voted for keeping Osemele, but I'd like us to keep both. However,if John Urshel plays guard this year while Wagner is out and plays just as good or better than he did last year, then we should let Yanda walk if he refuses to extend his contract at a fair and manageable cap price. It's smarter to move on with younger talent than to keep letting 30 year old vets hold us cap hostage every year.
  7. We have plenty of guys who can be good SS's on our roster.I don't think Pollard's skill set would add anything to our defense.
  8. Hopefully this helps our 2nd and 3rd string WR's develop.I imagine it must've been hard for them to get anything out of training camp and practices over the past few years when all Tyrod could/would do is tuck the ball and run.
  9. Hopefully they're clearing space for Crabtree and Housler.
  10. Agreed!I'd rather see us take a chance on Ryan Matthews and his injuries,an old DeAngelo Williams or Moreno coming off his leg inury than add Pierre Thomas.
  11. Something that's been eating away at me since Torrey's new contract details came out is the fact that he essentially left Baltimore for less money. When you subtract fed tax and Maryland state tax from the guaranteed $19 million we gave him it comes out to $13.3 give or take an additional $237500-$608000 depending on which county you live in.When you subtract fed tax and California state tax from the guaranteed $22 million SF gave him you get $11.6 million give or take an additional $220k-$2.2 million depending on what district you live in.So that means he definitely left guaranteed money on the table to go play with the niners. If you can't call his decision to leave a business decision then whats the real reason he left?Any bonuses or additional money he's getting in his contract can't be that much better than what he would've gotten with us because of that huge tax difference. It just doesn't make sense.
  12. He played with confidence from his first snap.He hasn't been abused like the rest of the secondary so he doesn't have that stench that Webb and the rest of the guys do.
  13. Yanda blatantly pushed Rice in the playoff game in Denver. It was on a play in double overtime that got us a first down and made the Tucker kick that much easier.I can't really complain about an ignored rule that helped us win a lombardi.
  14. Sometimes I wish we had a more offensively biased regime. We finally found a QB after years of wishing and waiting and he's never going to reach his full potential that he flashed a year ago because he's with an organization that doesn't care enough about offense.Idk what to say about it.Lets just hope that T Smith, some late round pick wrs,an undrafted wr and a 35 year old slot receiver actually works out this year because that same formula crashed and burned last year.
  15. We need to draft Cody Hoffman with one of these two 3rd rounders!
  16. I would agree with you if Steve Smith was still "STEVE SMITH" or if Marlon Brown would've showed us a little more than he did last year.At this point in Smith's career he's a 3rd option/slot guy.We still don't have a certified #2 wr.Brown could be that guy if he continues to improve but it's not a guarantee that he will.
  17. Cody Hoffman is still out there. He's a very underrated, huge and athletic wr.To me he's our last hope at upgrading our offense in the draft.I think he's this years Alshon Jeffery. He's the same size as Evans and posted similar combine results.
  18. I was mad when they decided to pick Mosley over Pryor, but now that I've spent some time getting over it I'm just happy we're not going to force Arthur Brown into our starting lineup.I'm still not sold on him.I think he's the next Tandon Doss.A fan favorite that everyone looks at through purple glasses and he'll never turn into a star player.Let alone a starter. But anyway, how I feel about Brown is a moot point now because we have CJ!
  19. It's about time we got bigger at ILB.All of the current ILB stars in the league are atleast 6 foot 2 inches with the exception of Bowman and Willis. Were gonna have one heck of a front seven for the second year in a row.All we need now is Jordan Mathews in the second.Or maybe to trade up and grab Lee in the early second if he keeps dropping.....
  20. Ozzie's offseason is giving me the most optimism I've felt for the team since right before Suggs went down in 2012.I still believe that Hakeem Nicks was a better option than Steve Smith but with a strong draft we should still be good enough to make a playoff run in the AFC with the squad we have.
  21. I think we should keep Osemele at LG.He did ok at RT but he wasn't a standout player or a special player at that position. He shines best at the LG spot.I also think we should sign a free agent rt.We still have enough cap room to sign Eric Winston if he stays on the market for another month or so.Hes healthy and hes only 30 years old.Adding him would give us a respectable line.
  22. Welp, now I have to go watch every single bucs game from last season to see just how good he is.Gameday rewind, here I come!!!
  23. I have been a ravens fan since I was 10 years old,but when I saw that Clark title I felt the heartbeat of my allegiance to the ravens go faint. It bounced right back because I'll bleed purple blood for life, but if the ravens actually sign Clark that heartbeat might have a full on heart attack.
  24. Same.
  25. I've been against this move the whole time but now that he's on the team he's I have no choice but to buy in.Hopefully I'm wrong about him trending downward.I'm hoping he proves me wrong because my guy Hakeem Nicks just signed a 1 year $3.5 mil deal which is a complete steal that we could've had.
