  1. Jernigans injured?Wow.I must've been living under a rock because I'm just finding that out.
  2. I'm not saying his season is over.I'm just suggesting that he's not day to day and might need another month or so to heal.
  3. Harbaugh has never been honest with us when it comes to injuries. All I'm suggesting is that this knee injury could be alot worse than we've been led to believe.
  4. This Perriman knee injury reminds me of the Webb back injury from last year.It started in TC and we were told it was day to day and wasn't anything serious but he ended up missing the entire preseason and the first quarter of the season. At this point I think Breshads injury is actually serious.I heard somewhere that he would more than likely miss the first preseason game.It wouldn't surprise me if he misses the first few games of the season too.
  5. It doesn't really matter who is 2 or 3.They'll both end up playing close to the same time and our DB's don't trail WR's so the rankings don't really mean much.
  6. Our only threats in the AFC are the Broncos,Colts and maybe the Steelers if their defense plays better than expected. The Patriots won't even be a factor this season.
  7. The rest of the team has no other option but to win it all and send him off on top now.I kinda wish he would've waited until the playoffs like Ray did though.
  8. As usual there were no surprises.Everyone is exactly where I expected them to be.I'm hoping Perriman decisively snatches that starting job away from Aiken when he returns though.
  9. Have you guys heard anything about Deandre Carter?I haven't heard his name in a while so I guess that means he's not standing out anymore.
  10. NFLN finally reports on Ravens TC and who do they bring in to comment on the team?Jamie Dukes and Heath Evans. Two guys they haven't used to cover any other TC and the two guys our fanbase hate most. What a perfect way to make sure no Ravens fan watches NFLN for the day.
  11. I'm not sure if you've heard, but Arian Foster is out for the majority of the season and what about Randle's two years in the NFL makes you think he on Rice's level? Also,I was specifically talking about what whoever it was that was quoted in the article said about Ray Rice not being in the league because he's not good enough anymore.I didn't say if he was worth the PR risk.
  12. I don't buy the loss of skill excuse with Ray Rice. There's no way there are 32-64(because some teams keep two RB's) better runningbacks than Ray Rice in this league.Nobody on Dallas' or Houston's roster is better than him for sure.
  13. I hate when people bring that game up.Joe didn't have a bad game that day.He just wasn't asked to do anything. Also,he had a serious thigh injury he was dealing with.
  14. I get what he was trying to say.I was just defending Montana's numbers.Montana actually did have flashy numbers.
  15. Holding the fact that Montana never threw for 4,000 yards against him would be like holding the fact that Rodgers has never thrown for 5,000 yards against him.Even if either of them never hit those marks they're both still the best QB's of their era's.Montana's numbers were Rodgers like in the 80's.
  16. Can someone explain to me what type of voodoo the Seahawks are using to fit all of these huge contracts under the cap?

    1. Willbacker

      Willbacker

They already had to cut a starting veteran DT and don't quote me on this but thru NFL Sirius sattelite I heard they have 96 mil given out to the top 10 players this year and they're gonna have to depend on youth to fill out the rest of the roster. They're gonna have to depend on youth for rotational depth and you've got Bennett and Chancellor both upset now about their contracts which could hurt team unity. Welcome to Pay the QB ville.

    2. The Raven

      The Raven

The Seahawks are relatively new to being a relevant team so they didn't have any good players being paid big money.

Part of the way around it is the signing bonus only counts 20% towards the cap so the 31mil only counts 6.2mil

  17. I don't have him in my personal top 5 but I'd love for him to prove me wrong and force himself into my top 5 and everyone else's top 5.To me he's not that far away from being there. He just needs to get those int's up.
  18. After looking it over again, the year Flacco had last season was better than 3 or 4 of Roethlisbergers past 6 seasons IMO.
  19. Over the last 6 years Ben has averaged 4,013 yards per season,25 tds per season and 10 ints per season. There are some outliers messing up those averages(he missed 4 games in 2010 and his 2014 stats are an anomaly)but that's pretty much what we get from Flacco. The only reason his passer rating is higher is because of his completion percentage. His past six seasons haven't been much better than Joe's.And I'm not just saying that because I'm a Ravens fan.If Ben's stats are good enough for the HOF then that means Rivers,Ryan and Romo are all one ring away from the HOF too because they've all out stated him by a mile.I know that the way the teams are built has to do with that but that's not what most people look at.The HOF should be for elite QB's like Rodgers,Peyton,Brady and Bree's.Up until this point Roethlisberger has never been on par with them but he has a STACKED!!! offense around him so who knows what will happen in his last 5 or so years.
  20. Ha Ha 15 days until the first preseason game. Then the monotony of the offseason will be over.
  21. I don't see Joe making the HOF.He would need 1 or 2 more SB's and an All Pro season under his belt before anyone would entertain that.He would also need to throw 4,000+ yards and 30+ TD's from here on out and I don't see that happening because I don't see Ozzie devoting those type of resources to the offense in the next 7-10 years.
  22. He would needs a few more seasons like the one he had last season and he would need to throw more touchdowns. His stats haven't been that much better than Flacco's for most of his career. The only big difference between the 2 of them is his completion percentage.
  23. Alot of the attributes on your list can be given to Torrey(Torrey can't track a deep ball?Really?) unless you're talking about Torrey coming out of college and the majority of them are just things a big WR can do and I've already said he's Torrey WITH size.I noticed you didn't add any of the things they have in common to your list like hands problems, both running a limited route tree, both only having straight line speed, both lacking shiftiness and both actually being close in size.Perriman is only 1 inch taller and a few pounds heavier. As I said,Torrey and Perriman share alot of traits but you just gave the nod to Perriman. That's why I see it as people just knocking Torrey. Can you atleast admit that does happen often because of that last play? You have your OPINION based on "visual analysis and I have mine.I'll leave it at that.
  24. I don't even remember how the conversation got to this point. My original comment was that Breshad Perriman played like a larger version of Torrey Smith. Both struggle with their hands, both are long striders, both have more straight line speed than short area quickness and both run a limited route tree.
  25. I'm not even trying to say he didn't have trouble being consistent with making catches at times.I'm just saying he wasn't strictly or purely a body catcher.
