Arrington was in on a lot of plays and played more than I thought he would. I thought he did pretty well.
Completely understand why some draftniks had Carl Davis as a late first round pick. He was great last night.
Other highlights. Maxx Williams was clutch. Boyle, LT, Juice, Flacco, Camp, Z Smith, Renner, Tray Walker, The entire first team offense and defense looked great.
He had a good play at the end, but also dropped the TD earlier on. It was a mixed bag.
Final Ride
Pollard:
“[The Ravens] have to make that decision, but for me, this is a place where I had so much fun,” Pollard told Glenn Clark Radio. “I was blessed to be able to win a Super Bowl with that organization and great teammates. And I know that that team is not far off. I would be more than willing to return and help. I want another ring. I could play a good three or four years.
“I want another Super Bowl championship and I know Baltimore has all the pieces that can make it happen. I know I could be another piece of the puzzle that can help bring that there.”
I love me some BP. He was my favorite player on that team the SB year. We'd have to see and injury to Hill for this to be even a remote possibility though... We got dancers in Fort Wayne
While I agree that he is a body catcher and has average hands at best, I don't think I've ever seen anyone improve their hands as much as Torrey did each year. He worked hard and it paid off for him.
Matt Elam has single handedly cost us at least half a dozen games .
Thats pretty impressive of a ''worst player of all time'' resume in just the space of a couple of years.
Lots of these other guys where just invisible.
Matt Elam is very visible..for all the wrong reasons.
We knock michael huffs first and pretty much only game vs the broncos.
Quite frankly thats what elams been doing for two years.
Pretty much agree. He sticks out like Oneil Cousins did on the Oline.
What was he supposed to say? How about Nothing? And, actually, he kind of Was bad-mouthing, or disrespecting the Ravens. You read the stats pulled up in the article. He's played on some Mighty great defenses. Somehow I don't think the Lions' defense is much better, if even equal. Like one poster said, he played with Two GOAT at their positions. I can't think of One Lion defender now or ever that could compare to those two Raven defenders Ngata had the good fortune to play with. He didn't have to say what he said. It wasn't accurate anyway.
So if he says nothing, then the people in Detroit and his teammates are dissatisfied with him. He said the answer that every person in his postion should give. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you can't tackle, you can't play.
Judging from the 30 second slow-mo videos of receivers running routes, I'd say it is completely different.
It should be Bryan. Named after one of my co-workers, of course.
I think he will be better at SS than FS. Next year will be a good year for him.
He's definitely a hands catch kind of guy unlike Torrey was. He plucks it out of the air instead of body catching. He also seems to high point the ball. Because of that I think his drops are fixable. I think Trestman could get a lot out of him. I was kind of meh on the pick at first, but the more I learn about him the more excited I am getting.
Great observation. I was about to post the same thing. There is a big difference between the two.
Not being a college football fan, can you guys tell me who like best of the UDFA?
I think at this point of the draft, we should just stick with our current Wide Receiver Corps, than try to get another rookie WR.
We already have our starters with the Smithses.
I'm curious to see how much development comes through for Marlon Brown, Aaron Mellette, and Deonte Thompson.
Jacoby Jones to me should be a good situational deep threat/ special teamer.
Why? If there is a good prospect, we should draft him. The cream rises to the top.
Gotta love the people complaining about the offense. I like how you would pick a player less skilled at a position of need rather than a more skilled player at a position that has depth. OZ and co. rank these players.
If anything, this draft really proves OZ picks BPA according to their board.. and doesn't pick by need.
Oz took a position that we have spent a lot of higher draft picks on recently, LBer. I have to assume that if he is picking another linebacker with the highest pick we have years, he is prolly going to be good.
It is hard to tell from that article. It didn't mention a lot about what he was doing to better himself (except for a blurb about being classes with 19 year olds). Most of the article was about him missing football, his football friends, and his work outs. Only time can tell.
Pipe dream? More like Pipe nightmare. CJbarely1K shows zero effort, throws his team maters under the bus and complains about not being the main guy in TEN despite performing poorly. Why would anybody want this headcase? He's cancer for any locker room.
I 2nd that.
I think the Ravens really want to draft a WR this year.
Much like Doss, Dickson is a talented athlete with good skills, but lacks something between the ears to execute. I've always held out hope for both, but................
he lacks something between his hands... the ball
do you still raise your hand to go to the toilet at your place of work?
HAHAHA.. sooo good. I thought the same thing when I was reading
And what is wrong with that? Ozzie should draft the best player he can, regardless of position. What if we don't draft a wideout in 2014 for some odd reason? Shouldn't Ozzie cover all the bases?
Yep. Ideally, we'd have a suitable starter at every position entering the draft. That way BPA (except QB) is good to go.
The man has a Raven tattooed on his back, enough said!
Agreed. He and Art were my favorites last year. They both always give 100%.
Ohh crap.... just heard our fax machines are down.

Agreed. My prediction is that Camp is 4th on the team in receptions this year. SSS, Forsett, Gilmore, Camp, Bresh, Aiken.
