I can't believe Harbaugh still doesn't understand how to manage a clock. And no one has been able to tell me why a prevent D is a good thing.
We could have Julio Jones and Antonio Brown, if our O-line plays like it did last week, it wouldn't matter.
Yes, but can he play left tackle?
I think Aiken is going to be solid for us. I expect this offense to be our best yet.
I hope the Pats win the, the Steelers and Pats go 11-5 and both miss the playoffs.
I'd be willing to bet Boyle has more snaps than Williams this year. I see Williams making an impact more next year. Looking forward to seeing the development of all 3 TE's the next 2-4 years.
The Steelers starters missed a collective 7 games last year, which is ridiculously low for an NFL team. Our starters missed something like 60 games. They were able to hide their weaknesses by being one of the healthiest teams in the league, but injuries have already reared their head for them in this preseason.
If the Steelers' offense is able to stay healthy, they will break records. This is the only way they will win games this year with the horrendous defense that they are putting on the field. I don't see them doing that though.
A cool stat.... assuming it is accurate.
Unfortunately that's exactly the kind of offense we will see this year and is partly the reason I'm picking my team to go 5-11.
There too many top notch AFC teams this year and if you leave out the Steelers and the Bronco's who I believe are going to be average 9 and 7 teams you still have the Colts, Patriots, Chiefs and Bengals who I have winning their perspective divisions and you have the Chargers and Bills taking the wild cards.
Bills are the third/fourth best team in that division.
Waller? He wont even play in the Denver game and unless we have a couple injuries and probably wont catch a pass all season. Since when is challenging opponents weaknesses poor coaching. It's the same when a starting DB goes down to injury, the very next play you can bet will be something throw in the back-ups direction. You are going to see Denver kicking balls they want returned I 100% guarantee that's going to happen. I'm not even gonna bother replying about your Ngata statements. Nobody--NOBODY! -- at this stage on our roster can possibly fill the void he left behind.
Ngata's best years are behind him. IMO he played his best football his first 5 years. At this point in their careers, I would take Williams over Ngata.
Renner gets a bit overrated, but I'll take him over Schaub. Schaub looked awful against backups and is only going to get worse over time. At least Renner has some chance of getting better and being a good game manager.
Yes, he played against back-ups, but remember, he also play with back-ups too. You could put P. Manning in with 3rd stringers and he isn't going to look like P. Manning.
….
He played all preseason against 3rd stringers. Stats do not tell the story. The lack of arm strength and poise in the pocket does.
I agree. He was scared to get hit in the pocket and didn't set his feet on several occasions b/c of it.
Man, those fantasy names are probably the worst thing I've seen on this website.
If Jimmy stays healthy the entire year, then we are better than last year's team.
So.....perrimans still not practicing/playing?....what a surprise...where's all the "head in the sand" fans that said he's be ready??...Out for the year at best!....Get real, we made another 1st rd mistake at WR and should Never make that mistake again......I wonder if he could....well never mind i don't think he's qualified for that position either......Keep Tom Nelson!
I agree....Why does Ozzie keeping drafting humans?!
My guess is a week 5 return. Just a guess tho
how inconvenient..
wasted first round pick..should have traded back..got lockett and another 3rd round pick and possibly traded up with that pick to get quinton rollins who's a playmaker.
No, because Rollins would have stepped on a nail the 5th day of camp and Lockett would have injured his shoulder playing corn hole after practice. See, we are both using our imagination.
"Who Is Ravens' Deep Threat Without Breshad Perriman?"
Nobody.
Exhibit #1: look at the stats: how many of his trademark deep passes Flacco attempted in the first two pre-season games.
Exhibit#2: His lone deep attempt i9n Philadelphia went to Kamar Aiken who was never a speedster, never a deep threat.
Exhibit#3: Really: name a deep threat on our current roster other than Perriman, with a chance to play more than a handful of snaps. Any guy.
It is preseason, they don't make as many deep ball attempts.
I'm concerned. A lot of players seem to be hungry. What are the Ravens doing not feeding these guys?
And all these heat related issues preventing guys from finishing practice... they give popsicles to the fans, I say they start giving them to the corners!

Perriman on the sideline catching a few passes from Renner.
It sounds like it is just a matter of time before Perriman is practicing. I would be surprised if he is not back on Monday. It sounds like Boyle and Walker are doing well at practice today to
Am I wrong?.... Is the top part his tweet and the bottom part your take?
"Sometimes you just need to get a little poop on ya."
Tebow parts fight like the red sea....when did this website become an ESPN affiliate?
Lol.
I think we are seeing more ACL tears b/c our muscles are getting stronger faster than our ligaments.
I'd say they are all non-issues at this point.
At this point in time, after what apparently was little to no ability to stretch the field against the Saints, we need to consider whether Perriman is going to be productive at all this year and do we need to trade for or bring in someone who has the speed to do that. With an already crowded receiver corps, it could mean losing someone we wanted to keep but without that speed, our offense will be drastically limited. Last thing you want is the strongest arm in the NFL and no one who has the burst to create separation downfield. All the eggs were in one basket and someone dropped that basket and we are going to end up with egg all over our face if we continue to wait for something to happen without proactively addressing it. Bring in a burner and if Perriman is back in time, then he can be cut, but if not, then we at least have an insurance policy. Not that there is much left out there, but time for Ozzy to do his magic.
A Preseason week 1 offense is watered down. Every team goes vanilla during these games. We will not pick up another wide receiver.

While the offense could have played a little better, the defense lost us this game. You have to hold teams under 30....period.
