A friend who is employed at the Wells Fargo Bank where Perriman does his banking in Owings Mills, said on yesterday his knee is still wrapped. We all know they will never say the full extent of his injury. So, we wait.
Is it 7:30 yet? Waiting to see Zadarius Smith, Darren Waller, Maxx, Boyle, Davis, Buck Allen,Moore and poor Arthur Brown" please so us something". Who wins the P/KR battle is also very important. Stay thirsty guys! ,
Anyone remember the name linebacker out of Oklahoma the Ravens drafted a few years ago, who on consecutive years injured each knee and the Ravens released him? Talk about no luck. Hope Urban can make it back and be a contributor in our late season run.
This reminds me of a linebacker the Ravens drafted a few years back out of Oklahoma, consecutive years he had knee injuries, needless to say the Ravens gave up on him and released him. Sorry, I can't remember the player's name, maybe someone remembers who I am referencing. Hope, Urban can shake off the injury bug and get back on the field and show why the Ravens drafted him, he was showing promise.
I am not a Elam fan, but I do feel badly for him being injured even before the first preseason game is played. Competition as a rule makes everyone better, or at least makes you give a sincere effort. Possible he could return, Ray did it. How determined is he?
Adversity builds character. This too will pass. It will be repaired beyond his expectation. Enjoy hotel life for a brief time, it maybe a blessing some of the rookies who need a veteran presence. Things happen for a reason. God knows.
Canty is a big if for making through the season, I can't see the Ravens releasing Kapron Lewis-Moore unless some better veteran gets released. This is Canty's last season, don't let a potential good player get away.
Nice to know Jimmy has matured in a lot of ways, becoming a father helped to quickly grow him up and becoming engaged to the mother of his child is a perfect way to add stability to his life. Best wishes on and off the field this year and going forward. Maybe Jimmy will finish his career here, too.
So, what does get to the next level mean? Just being able to make an open field tackle, defend a pass or just knowing your assignment maybe. Show us something that makes you worthy of being a first round draft pick, other than when you do make a tackle and get up an celebrate like you've just saved the game.
Perriman will learn crucial drops because of lack of concentration will bring a harsh scolding from Harbs, but I like how this young group of wr's is looking. If Carter makes it, it is because of special teams. I think Waller and Butler round out the six or seven kept, that is barring injuries which are unaccountable.
