While it frustrates Ravens fans to lose guys we liked it really is why we are always
viewed as contenders. 49ers are a perfect example, they are going to pay 16 mil
to Garcon which is way to high and they don't even have a QB to throw to him.
That is why teams fail.

Wish there were more like him in the NFL truly a class act.

We should just sign everyone to a one year contract. That way when they leave as all the good ones do then there would be less pain. We will be lucky to see anyone signed by April 15th. That is when all the cheap signings take place.

We do not need another running QB.

It is way too early to talk about this stuff. You know the Ravens never ever make
moves until April, May or even June. We have had Wagner, Williams and Juice
for 3 years and we still can not get them signed. This makes the players feel unwanted. So write a column in June.

Typical of the Ravens they do not seem in any hurry to address any of the free
agents. Need to remind Ozzie the season will be here soon.

Every year we give away guys we have invested in and we need to change that scenario. It gets ridiculous after a while. I would not mind if it happened once in
a while but every year just not very satisfactory. It makes us be twice as good at
drafting than other teams.

Come on Flacco haters this is your time to shine. In fact let us have all the haters

Just to beat a dead horse as I am on record for saying there is no way in this world Flacco should have the highest cap hit in the NFL, here is a guy who has finished in the bottom third of qbs in the league for several years in a row. Bisciotti and Ozzie totally blew that contract by giving him an extension and pumping it up even more. The guy is stealing. He is robbing the ravens blind by taking that money. We are talking about almost a million dollars a touchdown that he threw last year. Ozzie needs to sit him down and let him know that he is destroying this teams ability to sign quality players by holding on to that money he doesn't deserve. He knows he isn't that guy and he knows he should be giving some of it back. The Ravens need to let him know that if he chooses not to take a salary cut that they will draft or sign a free agent qb and get him ready to take Joes spot in two years when they can finally afford to cut him. By then he won't be worth much and no one will go out of their way to sign Flacco. When I think of how Ozzie missed on Elam, Arthur Brown, Max Williams, Terrence Cody, etc... I think his biggest mistake as GM by far was the Flacco contract.

I think this cap situation is a bunch of crap. All teams are supposed to spend a
certain percentage and they don't. We do and it always hurts us so we have to
let players walk. I am willing to bet the NFL lets certain teams spend as little as
they want and pocket the balance. Another Roger problem.

I wonder if our fan base would rather be the Cleveland Browns or one of the other
losing franchises in the NFL. Not Me.

No No. Just go defense. Then get more defense. It is a much surer way to get
to the playoffs than fighting to get offense which has never worked.

Do not know the ticket prices but I looked at the Primesport packages and they do not include air fare. How stupid is that. It is not a game you can drive to.

With regard to his accuracy with a hurt knee (assuming it wasn't completely healed), what was his completion percentage this year vs years past? Was it so much worse this year or not? In fact out of curiosity I dug up his career stats and guess what? 2016 was his best completion percentage ever! So, why do we keep creating scenarios as to why Flacco underperformed? Could it be his knee? Sure but was it? Don't know but at least it didn't affect his completion percentage. Well this article seems to say he was inaccurate because of it, but the stats debunk that theory. Here are the stats:

Percentage was great but don't forget all the dump off passes. That always helps accuracy but doesn't help much else.

This game is not easy on officials but it is not as hard as they are making it either.
Watching the GB-Dallas game and these guys just will not call holding on pass plays. They have already missed four in just a couple of minutes near the end of the second half. The officials have been terrible for most of the playoffs.

This guy's numbers are inflated has always had a QB that runs a lot. This team is getting really desperate I hate to say. I can see Roman and Marty head butting each other every week. Don't like the move.
