  1. They could station him back at the Academy, Pax river, Bethesda or NCIS because he studied cyber- security. It depends on the deal he cuts with the navy-- this is from the article Ludy referenced
  2. I agree but as a Navy brat and Navy football fan I would love to see him do well and play like a Raven!
  3. OVERVIEW Stanley had a chance to leave for the National Football League after his third year in South Bend, but decided to return after watching Ohio State win the national championship in January of 2015. He wanted to be part of a national championship contender. Although that didn’t quite happen (Notre Dame lost games to conference champions Clemson and Stanford, each by two points before losing to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl), Stanley didn't hurt his draft stock with a 2015 second-team All-American season at left tackle. NFL scouts had hoped he would come out the year before, as he looked like a future pro while starting all 13 games at left tackle as the Irish's Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2014. Stanley started every game at the right tackle as a redshirt freshman (he played two early season games as a reserve in 2012), showing great promise. A durable, intelligent player with experience at both tackle spots, Stanley will be a coveted prospect. PRO DAY RESULTS Short shuttle: 4.68 seconds 3-cone: 7.96 seconds Bench: 24 reps of 225 pounds ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Races out of the starting blocks and into pass sets as well as anyone in the country. Has long arms and knows how to use them. Plays with quick hands and a well-timed punch. Never panics when he loses hand placement, simply resets them. Specializes in quick sets getting his hands into the pass rusher first helping him to control the flow of the snap. Well-coached with great hand placement. Wins with activity over power. Is not often beaten around the edge by speed. Hard worker who plays through the whistle. Flexible and athletic with plus change of direction ability against counter moves. Has quickness off the snap to get to challenging backside blocks on linebackers. Able to pull into space and hit moving targets to spring the big run. Fell off of too many blocks in 2014, but did much better job of bringing his feet under him this year to help him sustain his blocks. In run game, able to gain late victories when it looks like stalemate is coming. Durable and dependable. WEAKNESSES In need of more functional, core power. Has to hang on for a ride when engaging against a physical defender who plays with leverage. Will need to win with feet and technique. Doesn't have upper body strength to maul when his rep gets off track. Has athleticism to recover when he's beaten, but is just average at redirecting his man off-course once defender gets the advantage. Is more quick that explosive. Gives ground to bull rushers when his feet aren't set at punch. Balance is average. DRAFT PROJECTION Round 1 NFL COMPARISON Lane Johnson BOTTOM LINE Three-year starter with the outstanding foot quickness and pass protection talent expected from an early round left tackle prospect. Stanley showed great maturity in acknowledging his weaknesses and returning to school to work on them and improve his game. While Stanley's core power is still a concern, he showed improved strength and run blocking prowess this year and should be ready to come in and start right away for a team looking to protect a high-end quarterback. 4. They are working on it, I think they want everything else fixed before rolling something new out.
  5. @Ravenpic Those eyes on your cat are cool. We are a cat free due to allergies
  6. That might be my bad, I was looking at it went I went in to fix the players name, I could have bumped it. If it's not on everything is gray so you don't know what you are looking at unless it's moved. I'll go check, game days that would be UGLY! It was a check box that got unchecked
  7. Thanks I will take care of it-- blowing up profanity filters everywhere lol
  8. I do know it is being worked on. In order to give the Flock all the videos, streaming and pictures they had to modernize the platform and make a good mobile experience. What bothers you the most, the look, color scheme?
  9. What is his name?
  10. No that is on my to do email ......I keep telling my self baby steps lol The Code of Conduct is available I'm going to suggest pulling the status updates until Twitter is Twitterpated so the diarrhea of useless stuf stops.
  11. By all means please discuss legal stuff it will pull this other crap down.
  12. I have heard it both ways we have 3 kids/3PSL's to put in our will someday. You could pull your original agreement or call the Ravens Ticket office 410-261-7283! I do know other teams do make you re-buy them, it became an issue when the St. Louis Rams announced their move to LA .
  13. I would, I read somewhere that Under Armour will be doing uniforms next year or two, I could be wrong, but I am holding out for that. I was not fond of the Nike product in 1999 they just don't fit my body correctly.
  14. The one with the twenty year patch is not a premier like the 149.00 dollar one meaning the first one has all iron on stuff where as the premier has a the sewn numbers and letters and I personally think they look better.
  15. Cranberry meatballs, nachos, chili , tater tots . We took food off the menu since of the three biggest appetites 2 left last minute to go to a friends house and the other going out to über.
  16. I sent it with the first day stuff.
  17. Agreed! Too bad because I have a lot of respect for Peyton, he just played for two teams I can't stand,
  18. Whenever any IT gets rolled out there are issues-a piece of code could get corrupted, you can't simulate 'live' action- we were not the test group so we got the good version. An admin could have accidentally toggled the wrong switch trying to check out all the bells and we may have our board configured differently then the test board lots of factors go into it. Invision could not have been any more responsive to looking into anything we reported plus helping the mod group. I appreciate those of you who took the time to post 'bugs' here instead of random stuff in the blogs or the random 'I hate this update' and wanders off to re-post the same thing. Hopefully when this stuff gets fixed we will be ready for free agency next month!
  19. This is what I submitted and the answers I received: To go down each item:Clicking "Mark site read" (upper right on the forum index page) used to redirect to the index page itself since the upgrade. Now it doesn't - rather leaves you on the current page. Is it possible to have the redirect back? Unfortunately not; this is the standard behavior in IPS4.The third thing I'd add is the option to make thread pages smaller on mobile (ie, fewer posts per page). My browser's already crashed a few times and I can foresee it getting ugly when the mock draft starts. It isn't possible to have different numbers of posts in topics on desktop vs. mobile because both desktop and mobile are actually seeing the same theme, it just adjusts for the display. Additionally, URLs such as /topic-title/?page=2 wouldn't work if there were a different number of posts shown depending on device.Overall I don't mind the new layout as I do my posting on desktop now. But there are a few simple fixes that would go a long way to make the forums easier to browse on. Starting with adding that central hyperlink to go straight to the home page. This is something I took care of yesterday for you (you can click the Ravens icon now to go back to the forums home)Another small bug that I noticed..when I go to submit a post the "notify me of replys" button says "this feild is required" -even though I selected one. Usually I'll have to toggle it back and forth or just hit the submit button several times for the post to go through and register. That isn't something I've heard of before. We can do some tests and see if we can reproduce.Otherwise, getting to the last read post by simply clicking on the thread title would be nice again. The star/circle on the left does work, but it's very small. I struggle with it at times, so I can't imagine what people with "fat fingers" are going through. This was behavior that was specific to the mobile skin in IPB3 (the main desktop version didn't work that way). In IPS4 we standardized it so that the topic title takes you to the first post, and the 'unread' icon takes you to the last unready . That said, this feedback has come up before, and we have a discussion internally about either changing the way we handle it, or offering it as a option to users. So - bear with us on that one:). I also resubmitted that we still can't set our permissions so hang in there people. They are working with us quite well and I'm glad !
  20. I was going by what I was told by Invision so I will resubmit it
  21. It is fixed toggle away at the bell.
  22. That option is not currently available, there
  23. I sent off a list last night and it reads like this - [ ] My other complaint would be with navigation. Unless I'm missing the button (thought it might have been the centered ravens logo on mobile) getting back to the boards main page from here requires me to hit back to this forum, back to the Subset of forums, and then to the main page. The old way where the center link took you back to the main page was quicker to navigate and more user friendlier. I got an alert that someone quoted a post i made. Problem is, I didn't post either the comment or the response, it was 2 other people. Second, the LFW article, 2-1-16 said comments loading forever, then said, sorry, comments not loading. This happened twice and still have not seen comments. Also,I keep asking if the website will go back to format which allows the "like" arrows. Thus far the up and down arrows are only showing up in forums but not in the articles from the home page. Could someone please answer the question regarding whether the "like" button feature will be included in the main articles as well, if you know? Button at the bottom for the tablet crew. Can we have the 'Cancel' button back in the comment post/edit section. All of this was passed to the developers at Invision.
  24. The two times I rode the light rail other then thinking I was a sardine as packed in we were no problem. Those same 'drunks' were in the stadium with you.
  25. If you have kids it goes double time, I'm still in mourning the loss of J lot it still feels last year and Joe Flacco is 31 with 8 years in the league.
