Our worthless, prevent defense lost us this game. Pees needs to go!!
Pagano...please, take Pees!
excluding no one! yes, excluding no one!
that voice...that body language...that intensity....no deer in headlight looks...the focus!!! seemed like a broke Tom Brady for his early NE game manager days.
he will be a good number 2 for us next year if not an off-season trade piece!
WOOHOO...PLAY LIKE A RAVEN!!!!
Agree, he definitely has a larger presence on the field that Flacco ever did. Leadership, pocket awareness, sense of urgency...
GET. RID. OF. PEES.
Please tell me this is the last time for this. Looks like they are copying the ugly squealers
John Harbaugh On Pass Defense Performance: ‘It Was Bad’
Harbaugh just noticing that now?? The Pees defense sucks!! Period. The greatest change the Ravens could make this year is getting rid of him.
Start with firing our conditioning coach and Chris Hewitt. Then we can talk about getting better.
Agree...and fire Pees as well.
You look at the situation with this roster..it's contracts and injuries..the lack of talent in skilled positions..the not so great cap situation..questionable coaches..
how do we get out of this mess? can we really rebound this year? or do we need a transition that might take 2-3 seasons ( with successful drafts which have become a rarity).
I'm very very worried for this teams future. Theres too many holes to fill. I feel we might become the new laughing stock of the AFC north for the next 2 seasons at least..
what on earth can the FO do to help us rebound?
It will be dark for several years if we don't get rid of pees.
has pees coached his way into another year of frustration and failure in baltimore? or do you all think bisciotti will force harbs to send him packing? i believe our recent "improvements" is a direct result of lesser competition and he needs to be fired, and if he isnt, we will regret it next year.
During the 4th quarter of game last night, I made a bet with my dad. I bet that Browns would pass their way all the way down the field and score a TD due to the "prevent defense" of pees. I won the bet. By a stroke of luck, we won of course with that amazing blocked FG.
But my point is, EVERY time the Ravens ahead, they start playing soft on D. Zone, rushing 3 guys, 8 guys drop back and NONE of them are around a receiver - 5-10 yards off! Every receiver wide open. Every opponent passes their way to a score and this is every year for past several years - that is, ever since pees on board.
FIRE PEES!!!!
Same ole thing, game after game; this year especially. Nothing done about the ridiculous amount of penalties. When is coaching going to address this problem?
Flacco needs to step up and be a more visible leader on the field; he's been a pro QB for 8 years now and ought to know that. Fast plays work when you move with a purpose on the field...getting called for delay of game with a no huddle offense is embarrassing and obviously isn't going to work. Having said that; overall, the offense has been better this year despite the losses. Our defense is blowing the games and unfortunately isn't going to improve until we get a new DC.
Figured that's why we won - Ray Lewis in the house!! Secondary still looked BAD!
NFL officiating is suspect and they have lost integrity. Whether they are incompetent or blatantly biased (paid off?), NFL needs to investigate and correct the problem.
All I am saying is it's a defensive issue as well and not just them.
Agree with that...
At half time it was 14-10 against a team practically everyone, including many Ravens fans, thought would blow Baltimore out. A game where the Ravens traveled back to the west coast after being there last week. After a first half that featured the refs trying to hand the game to Arizona with bad call (ineligible receiver) after bad call (fumble) after bad call (Webb's PI). Yes, the fact that it was 14-10 means the team was playing well.
With all that said, what do you expect?? Is he supposed to publicly trash his team on national television as some sort of motivation? When has that worked for any coach?
No, certainly not trash the team publicly. Doesn't matter the "close" score at halftime, it was another loss by an unmotivated team that plays poorly. THe announcers statements confirm what I suspected...no improvements made, no passion on this team, no need to improve...cause they're playing great!!!
It's easier to say that when the team is losing. I disagree with the comment about Webb and Jimmy as well as those jumping all over Joe. All can be better but not to the point of replacing them, which would actually make the team much worst.
Really? How can we get anyone that will perform worse than our secondary already is? WRs run circles around Smith, Webb is sluggish and when he does make a play, he gets called for P.I.
My predictions:
Chargers - 31
Ravens - 20
Same old Pees defense shows up allows 300+ passing yards. We get penalized 11 times. Someone gets hurt and out for rest of season. Flacco throws an interception, WRs drop ball several times.
Harbaugh announces that we played well and still need to work on a few things.
If I was Bisciotti, I'd be cracking some heads!
Always wondered why the Ravens' problems were never corrected week to week, even year to year.
Now I know why.
At halftime, during Cardinals game, just prior to start of 2nd half; announcers shifted down to sideline female announcer asking for Harbaugh's comments. She stated that, "aside from the turnover", Harbaugh thought that the defense and offense playing well. Really??
You have the worst record in franchise hx; on goal to finish worst than inaugural year at 4-12
Continued sloppy play
Continued ridicuous amount of penalties
Continued missed tackles
Incompetant WR other than SSS
Worthless defense
I bet team is told in locker room how great they performed. Now I know why Ravens never play with any fire or passion. After all, they're doing great! Coach says so!
My change? get rid of pees!
We should be panicking Harbs. No sense of urgency on your team. Everyone slumbering up to the line of scrimmage. Flacco standing around looking lost. Bad team = bad coaching.
If I was Bisciotti, I would be cracking some heads right now. Good thing I'm not Bisciotti.
just a few minor tweaks and it is possible. It will be one of the best comebacks in recent times. RG3 redskins were 2-6 and bounced back with him as a rookie and I feel our franchise is much better.
1) Alignment, assignment, technique in the secondary....we bring in someone to coach them up at their position
2) workout Javier Arenas to see what he can provide at DB and push the guys in practice
3) Bring in Terrell Owens on a 10day contract...very much in shape and can still get open. I feel he is humbled like SSS that was a former team cancer as well. He can give us another dynamic to take pressure off of SSS. Vet minimum if he can hang
4) Bring in Wes Welker on a 10day contract to push the guys.
5) Acceptance of the defense and changing our offensive strategy to increase TOS or to run up the score see the defense can pin their ears back so the CB's don't need to cover as long.
6) applaud the offensive line and ask them to keep up the good work even though the skill guys are letting them down. Keep the big men happy!
7) We get creative on offense and get playmakers at WR and TE the ball. More bunch formations and Screens to get open guys.
8)Tell Flacco to be a team player and if we run a wild cat...he needs to actually run a route to keep the defense honest.
9)Use Flacco's running ability in some option situations...he needs to carry the team as his contract warrants.
10) Flacco has thrown 28 interceptions on the road since 2013 aka the most in the NFL and unacceptable for his potential and pay grade. 2015 is the year he needs to be that man! he needs to be protected from himself at times by limiting his in traffic throws. Flacco has a rocket....but it ain't exactly laser accurate.
Small coaching tweaks, small game play tweaks, and small personnel tweaks...then we start winning games by 6 points instead of losing by 6 points. All hope is not lost! PLAY LIKE A RAVEN!!!
A few minor tweaks?? We need a major overhaul!! Starting with coaching, as in, get rid of Pees!
The Ravens are not going to suck for luck. They will continue to play hard until the season is over, whether the playoffs are in reach or not.
But that's the problem...they are not playing hard. Slow, sluggish on offense, sloppy play, missed tackles, huge amount of penalties.

Any one else as sick as I am of seeing NFL laud Squealers accomplishments all over Facebook? Anything, to make Raven's look bad.
