  1. I have to go to bed to early to see the outcome of the night games but this is one a hope to wake up, check my phone and be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
  2. Sorry my post count says that I should be new around here. My sarcasm was rendered undetectable.
  3. Speaking of Flacco being elite lets add into the mix that in addition to all the injuries that have screwed the team all year what about the lack of a solid running attack which I'm not sure is a product of the current players on the line or if it is a transition thing by changing coordinators.
  4. You asked a question and it was answered. Up to you what you do with an answer to that question. As far as the getting rid of Joe aspect, I can't say I want to get rid of him based on the question of who out there would I want more? Just like how the Cowboys keep Romo around after all his antics Im sure they ask who else do they want and could actually get? Until there is a better choice financially and physically Joe will be here. Doesn't make him any better or worse for this team because of this though.
  5. I bet Brady would like Waller lined up with Gronk in the red zone.
  6. So now you know the definitive answers to questions like this? lol Didn't know we had GB front office staff on the boards. My bad.
  7. Potentially any of them.
  8. Please note my last sentence. FO is as much to blame for this overall problem as Joe is for not sucking it up and using what he has.
  9. Not clear just thinking you picked me to argue with and it's funny. Joe isn't good enough to make less than ideal players work at all. I don't care how bad they are they made an NFL roster somehow which means they must have something that worked at one time. The fact that we don't ever get production out of young receivers is as much Joe's fault as it is the front offices.
  10. Clearly you've convinced yourself to the point where you can disagree with everything said. Joe clearly isn't the issue so let's surround him with only probowl level receivers so there will be no doubt of his elite status.
  11. Look up and down the stat lines of games and find all the guys that weren't first round talent. Its pretty easy. Other teams consistently do more with less. For us our later round/lesser talent guys don't do as much. So it's as much of an argument that Joe doesn't "elevate" talent is it is that we don't get those diamonds in the rough that seem to show up on every other team.
  12. Yes this. Im not sure a Jordy Nelson would have been an elite talent with other QBs but Rodgers was great with him. Brady as much as I hate him makes guys nobody has ever heard of look pretty darn solid. Just don't see Joe doing that. Sure he made Boldin and SSS look like beasts but they already were when they came and were when they left/or leave.
  13. What I feel separates Joe from other top QB's is the ability to make due with what he has. All this talk about him not having this guy or that guy and it really shouldn't matter. Joe is streaky, when he is on he is on fire, when he isn't then we get threads like this. My problem is how other QB's like Rodgers, Brady, Big Ben, can make virtually unknown players look like probowlers yet when Joe loses SSS and not having a 1st rd. pick play yet we can all argue that he has noone to throw to. At his level he should be able to make something happen with the little that he has. Be a leader and tell receivers what he wants them to do. I know he isn't a rah rah guy but I never see him talking to guys on the sidelines like other QB's do. With all this said I blame the majority of this year to injuries. Few teams would be able to survive with the amount of loss that we have had so far this year and that along with some coachings issues has added up to where we were. Talk is about how bad we are yet in our 5 losses we lost by a combined 22 points and biggest defeat was by 6 points. Just imagine if we had half of our injuries back.
  14. Tuned into the different stations last night to see who was having any decent post game analysis. Remembered WNST from back when I lived in MD so I tried it out. Random interview with MAtt Stover talking about mentoring other kickers in the league. What a joke.
  15. Never been a fan of having a starter at a major position back there returning kicks where they are put in a position to potentially take some major abuse. Especially a guy that has health issues already I'd hate to see him get hurt returning a kick and then not be able to play in our less than stellar secondary.
  16. Union County checking in here. Have a few Ravens fan sightings around once in a while.
  17. I hope you're right. Joe seems to like to have one brain lapse a game and I hope it happens at the right time on Thursday.
