While here I started my own business, so I can't just pick up and leave even though I want too. For some odd reason there are a lot of bandwagon Steelers fans here. I am a die hard purple bleeding Ravens fan. My car's tags are R8VENS, I have a purple car and there is no doubt with all the stuff on the car I am a bigtime fan. Twice my car has been keyed, once with "Steelers" and some nasty words about the Ravens, and one with "6 rings".
Now this is a Redskin fan base area, and I have never had anyone who is a Skins fan say something (other than in fun) about the Ravens. Steelers fans here, can't wait to say something nasty. Now.....I know that if in Baltimore a Steelers fan paraded down the street, or a Ravens fan did the same up there in Pitt, all bets are off, but this is a neutral area, so...my point is that there is a difference in fans, some just lack class, and some fan bases seem to attract the classless. GO RAVENS!
I live in Rockville, MD and have MD Ravens affinity plates. I go to a Ravens bar in Arlington and its being slowly taken over by Steelers fans who probably moved here when the mills started closing in Pittsburgh. If a female Steelers fan every dinged my door, I'd tell her "I got the right team, but now you're dealing with the wrong person"
To the person who said LA lost two NFL teams, so did Baltimore. The AAFC Green and Silver Colts folded a year or so after they came in the NFL along with the Browns and 49ers. As well as the Irsay move in 1984, which was partially egged on by the lawmakers in Annapolis slapping an "Eminent Domain" clause on the Colts, which made him move in the middle of the night.

They're replacing the turf with grass this year, probably because of the Ravens injury crisis last year. If it works then fine. But first FIFA got to see about the Qatar bribery situation, if they don't get it the US will.
How about a soccer friendly between the US Women's National team and a foreign competitor?
Or since Hammerjacks is opening soon, how about a music festival with Kix, Guns and Roses and other bands related to that club.
This MLFB league is facing financial trouble, proof that even if you have a TV deal that doesn't guarantee survival. Same thing happens to the A11 football league, they were going to have two demonstration games between the Dallas Wranglers and the Tampa Bay Bandits on ESPN. Never got off the ground to start with.
Boxing sounds good, The Big Ten baseball tournament was held at Target Field last year in Minneapolis. Other Major League parks they could use is Nationals Park which is close to the Terps as well or Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, close to Rutgers. Just send the major league home team on a long road trip.
The commissioner of the B1G., Jim Delaney is trying to push the brand on the East Coast, there was a basketball hockey double header at MSG this year. And the men's tournament will be held at the Verizon Center next year and the Garden, the year after that. They will play it, the week before the Big East which has a stronghold there.
Might be too cold to Wrestle in April. If you can go see Army-Navy when it comes to M&T Bank this year. I went and a had a great time, where the tradition and pageantry are at their highest level.
If Quatar is dropped from the World Cup in 2022 and replaced by the US, M&T Bank Stadium should be one of the sites, since its hosted a lots of International Friendlies and the Gold Cup. Its better than FedEx Field, because of its downtown location, where you can go the Horseshoe, the Inner Harbor, Dempsey's in the Warehouse and Hammerjacks will be resurrected almost across the street.
Perhaps moving the Military Bowl here and renaming something else might work.
One thing I don't think they should get is the B1G football Championship game, not much interested here. Maybe the Baseball Tournament at Oriole Park.

There is a Ravens Ride coach bus, but it costs $25 or so, because its run by private bus companies, when the ICC banned the MTA from providing the service since its technically a charter. But they come with guaranteed seating and a restroom on board.
The other problem with Light Rail is that the first train northbound on Sunday isn't until 10:40 am or so, Hurting tailgating with friends. If you do use it, board at the Camden Yards stop up from the Hamburg Street station or else you'll have to wait. I usually drive in from Rockville, and park at the Park Under Garage on Lombard Street for $15, half a block east of the Royal Farms Arena. You can also guarantee a spot on Parkwhiz.com or ParkingPanda.com by prepaying in advance, but unless you get there later than 9:30am there, its not necessary. Paying online is the same price as the drive up.rate and its 3/4 mile from the Stadium.
I wish the MTA would run Light Rail earlier on Sunday morning like 7 or 8 am. If there's no event at Camden Yards, they could always get the Church Crowd to ride.

Maybe each division can have a team and make it territorial if they can get along that is lol. Some suggested sites could be like Birmingham Ala,Rochester NY,San Antonio Tx and Portland Ore plus the 2 you named. Akron could be for the AFCNorth.
One other rumor I heard is the league trademarked Arkansas Attack. Akron was supposed be in the new USFL which never got off the ground as the "Akron Fire". The MLFB team there would probably play at Infoscision Stadium, home of the University of Akron Zips.
If the NFL was running the league, use their rules and have year round referees, this league would be work during the spring for them and then work the National Football League gamed during the fall. If they're not, don't expect any teams in California because of the high cost of Workers Comp Insurance there.
There is rumored to be a spring league called Major League Football that has a two year TV deal with the American Sports Network, owned by Sinclair Broadcasting on most of their stations digital subchannel. The league is supposed to have 8 teams in cities with no Major League Baseball or Football. They're supposed to kick off in April and they had a territorial draft, but I don't think they'll kick off in time if at all. Only cities I heard are Akron, OH and maybe Orlando. Seems to be more of a developmental league. Just hope they have a salary cap, to keep the Donald Trump's of the world out.
Jim Ross is returning to pro wrestling announcing, starting March 4, he will do english language play by play for New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV. He will replace Mauro Ranallo. He will make 6 trips a year from his home in OKC to record them for the network from the TV Ashi feed.
Its not fake. Arena Football is one of the most created exciting sports. If you get a seat in the front row its like standing on the sidelines watching the game up close you'll get to see hard hitting tackles like you never seen it before. I been to one Marniers game and i saw hard hitting up close and personal,
There was a team called the Maryland Eagles at the Myers Pavillion last season, but they now play at a rec center in Wheaton. They were more low budget than the Mariners in their second incarnation. That team had to play their last two games on the road due to poor attendance at the Arena. Even opening night I don't think they gave away all the Justin Tucker Bobbleheads and the crowd looked like it was less than 800.
Someone tell Dean Spaons the reason the Chargers drew 25 per cent of their fans from the LA area is simple, there was no NFL team up there, they will lose those fans because the Rams are back in LA and they have a team to root for. Similar to DC baseball fans who rooted for the Orioles, which was helped by a former Redskins owner Edward Bennett Williams buying the team.
In Baltimore almost nobody rooted for the Redskins when the Colts left. Jack Kent Cooke didn't bother marketing the team there, he had a miles long waiting list for tickets at the time.
This video sums up Browns fans big time:
Hopefully they won't do a remake of this video
Too bad Gino's is gone, no more "Camden Giant" crabcake on top of a burger. In fact I don't give much chance of the new Gino's chain surviving, they closed a few locations.
Bingo! We have a winner.
What a 30-2 vote by owners tells me is the NFL could give two cents about fans. It's become a greedy billionaires club, and now this Kroenke has moved into the lead as biggest shmuck.
Kroenke hasn't done boo with the Nuggets or Avalanche either.
Rams didn't start in LA, they moved from Cleveland after the AAFC Browns kicked them out.
Now I hear rumors that Mark Davis may move the Raiders to San Antonio. He owns some land where a stadium can be built there. His lease in Oakland expired, so either he'll have to renew there, or move to Santa Clara and share Levis Stadium with the 49ers until something can be solved there, or there's that option in Texas where Red McCombs says there's 15 sponsors ready to go and they can play at the Alamodome, until a new stadium is ready there.
Well for starters I think McDonalds is completely nasty.
Secondly, this is by far more food than any Big Mac.
Also, FAR better quality.
and this was fresh and hot, anything from McDonalds would have long since been cold.
Not to mention I don't think, you can bring McDonald's food into the stadium.
Lastly, it was a special occasion thing, I will not get that monstrosity every time I go to The Bank.
I think any other burger at the stadium would be around $10.00 to $12.00 anyway.
There's also the food pre game at Ravenswalk, only drawback is there isn't many places to sit down there.
Next relocation rumor I hear is Mark Davis is using San Antonio as leverage, he owns a large piece of
land there to build a stadium, while using the Alamodome in the interim. He is trying to force
Oakland to give an agreement on a new stadium or he might move this year.
I wish the O's would also install WiFi like M&T Bank Stadium, since AT&T is a sponsor.I like the one free refill on a large. Why cant the O's have this too?
In DC for about $10 you can get a large soda with unlimited refills at the Verizon Center, Nats Park
and FedEx Field.
The large one refill soda. I either tailgate before the game with my Bowie friends in Lot H, or go toRavenswalk where you can chicken tenders with fries and soda for 10.
I was in DC today and joked about it, they said they'd gladly get rid of their pathetic under maintained Metro that each line breaks down daily and no center track which means delays. And they'd throw in
RG III as well.
Well in the Old days when the Colts were in Baltimore i took an express MTA Special Colt bus that left from Timonium fairgrounds that got me there to Memorial Stadium less than 20 minutes. Now the light rail takes an hour from Hunt Valley to Camden Yards. The Underground subways would take less than 40 minutes from Hunt Valley to Camden Yards. Light rail is riding with traffic on the roads is why it takes longer. Why not give us a choice Express Bus service or Light Rail? I rather take express Bus service.
The MTA is not allowed to offer special event services because the ICC said it was a charter. The
Ravens offer bus service from various private charter companies, I used to take it until the fare went up to $25 round trip from the Southwest Park and Ride. At least if you make a reservation, you get a reserved seat and all coaches have restrooms on board. Their website is
I now park in Downtown Baltimore at the Park Under Garage for $15 on Lombard Street and walk 3/4 to the former Bowie Roost tailgate in Lot H before the game.

Full Color Football about the American Football League and how it helped issue the modern pro football era. The reason it was called that was the AFL's First Contract with ABC had a few games in color, and when they moved to NBC in 1964 all the games were in color, because NBC was then owned by RCA and was first with the technology and equipment and receivers. That second deal helped ensure their survival and caused a bidding war with the NFL that ended up phasing in a merger with the NFL in 1966, the first two products were a AFL-NFL World Championship game that eventually became the Super Bowl, a common draft between the leagues and inter league preseason games, That finally ended with all the teams under the NFL banner.
