  1. Here's the last time the Redskins won a regular season game in Baltimore, 60 years ago.  Weeb Eubank coached the Colts and Eddie LeBaron was the Redskins QB.  Practically all of us weren't even born yet.

  2. The DC/Northern Virginia Ravens fans group moved this year to Front Page in Arlington on Wilson Blvd.  There a brunch buffet till  pm and food and drink specials.  We meet in the back.  There a garage on the same block for $4 all day on weekends, just in case you can find a spot on the street.    Here's our Facebook page if you want more info, if you're interested in coming contract Eren via the page, so we make room for you.

lol and how bout that name. Of all fan bases to criticize another teams label it sure as hell shouldn't be them.

They started out as the Boston football Braves and later changed their name to Redskins when they moved to Fenway Park.

There are some fans who say that there not our rivals, yet get worked up on the CSN Mid Atlantic Board about the Ravens.  Double Standard.

I say no! Big Ben is getting old,,He's also Injury prone. Just one big hit on Big Ben just one he could be done for season. Big Ben reminds me of Troy Aikman on his final year and you saw what happened to him.

And they got blown out by the Eagles 34-3.  They're not even the best team in the Keystone state.

    Lot J.

Former home of the legendary Hammerjacks night club.

I thought it was lot H, but it might be both.  The club is supposed to make a comeback near Russell Street soon, with a sports bar to catch the O's and Ravens post game crowd.

I always use the Park Under Garage for Ravens games on Lombard Street for $15 on game days.  Its a 3/4 walk to the stadium, but make sure you write your location on the ticket you enter with.

  6. I wish the Redskin band would stop billing themselves as the only "Marching Band in the Hall of Fame", Baltimore's Marching Ravens were inducted around 1988 when they were still the Baltimore Colts marching band.    I do like the Rock and Roll section.

Since Baltimore and Washington are so close and have full marching units, I wouldn't mind seeing an annual "Battle of the NFL Bands".

I'll talk to our leader  to see if we can get the DC/Northern Virginia group listed once we get new meeting location finalized, our old one Rock Bottom Brewery in Arlington is closed because the mall it was in is now has major renovations..  We'll be at the Front Page in Arlington on Wilson Blvd, this week.

  8. I went to the first regular season home game at Memorial Stadium.  About getting a ticket, let's say I was in the right place at the right time watching the last preseason one and hearing that they released some tickets for at Ticketmaster Phone Charger.

Here is some more about it from Yahoo sports.

This. It's a struggle to go all the way up.

Actually I heard on another board, owner Steve Bisciotti wants them too, but don't expect them until a replacement for the current stadium in 2028.   It just too hard at the current location where they would have to renovate the side entrances.    I also found out there weren't upper level escalators because Art Modell had trouble maintaining them at Cleveland Municipal Stadium which the plumbing was so bad  they had porta potties on some parts of the concourse.

About building a new stadium there might be some potential options:
    1. Renovate the current location and play home games at Camden Yards while they're doing it or FedExField.
    2. Build it in one of the other parking lots, then tear down the current location when finished.
    3. If it happens get ready to buy new PSLs.

  10. I was just told to print out the two pieces of paper and bring them with a photo ID at North West Regional Park where you park and catch the motor coach to 1 Winning Drive.  Everything went smoothly at the check in there.  They  even had WiFi on board the buses..  They did security at the complex when we arrived but I expected that.  The Ravens organization treated the fans who went that day well, free bottled water and popsicles, even the restrooms had more that enough a/c.  Lots of bleachers undercover.  At the end they let the youth get autogrpahs from the team.

Hope to get picked next year.

Why would you even want to prevent resale?  That makes no sense at all.  Those resold tickets mean butts in the seats and lots of concession stand sales.

Sometimes like the preseason you can get a good deal on resale tickets, I'm paying $7 for Saturday Nights game against the Lions way up in the endzone, after halftime sometimes you can move down so if they'res empty seats

You want to know how Redskins,Cowboys or Steelers fans get in our stadium? Because 30% of our season ticket holders resell their tickets at an higher price. an $110 Ticket will cost you $200-$300 to Redskins,Cowboys or Steelers watch them play in Baltimore. You don't see Seattle fans doing this do you? Remember last time Ravens played in Seattle i bet none of our fans got in there. and when the Hawks played the 49ers in playoffs i didn't see 1 49er fan in that stadium.

Some of the seats are owned by brokers.  There was the story of one 49er fan who  tried to sue so that the Seahawks would be forced to sell playoff tickets against the Niners outside Washington State.  He lost big time.

Look at our Ravens fan base they are compared to the Redskins fan base. Its very tough to get a ticket to watch the Ravens,Redskins,Cowboys,Packers or even the Steelers. Also Both Ravens and Redskins fans travel to other teams stadiums and help sellout their stadium like they did down in Miami last year.

Unless the Redskins are playing some team in their division, or the Cowboys, there are lots of tickets under face on the resale market.  No wonder their owner either covered or had some upped deck sections removed to prevent blackouts.
