  1. This is no rivalry, just a bunch of both teams fans yelling nasty stuff on social media.
  2. Here's the last time the Redskins won a regular season game in Baltimore, 60 years ago. Weeb Eubank coached the Colts and Eddie LeBaron was the Redskins QB. Practically all of us weren't even born yet. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2016/10/07/remember-the-last-time-the-redskins-won-in-baltimore-you-probably-don't/
  3. The DC/Northern Virginia Ravens fans group moved this year to Front Page in Arlington on Wilson Blvd. There a brunch buffet till pm and food and drink specials. We meet in the back. There a garage on the same block for $4 all day on weekends, just in case you can find a spot on the street. Here's our Facebook page if you want more info, if you're interested in coming contract Eren via the page, so we make room for you. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Dmvravensfans/
  4. Some people take the game too seriously. http://bal.247sports.com/Bolt/Ravens-fan-fighting-for-life-after-altercation-with-Raiders-fans-47971091
  5. They started out as the Boston football Braves and later changed their name to Redskins when they moved to Fenway Park. There are some fans who say that there not our rivals, yet get worked up on the CSN Mid Atlantic Board about the Ravens. Double Standard.
  6. I saw some Redskins fan on CSN's Facebook page saying that Baltimore's terrible and they were harrassed at the last preseason game. I said I got into trouble outside FedEx in 2012 where some drunk fans tried to take my baseball cap and made fun of the back saying its not established in 1996, it was stolen. I told them "Your team was stolen from Boston in 1937."
  7. Move over Landover and let Baltimore take over!
  8. In the DC area its usually on CSN Mid Atlantic or late night on the weekend on WUSA 9.
  9. The game won't be on in Washington, DC due the Browns taking on the Redskins on the same (CBS) network. Usually DC is the secondary market for the Ravens but not this upcoming Sunday.
  10. And they got blown out by the Eagles 34-3. They're not even the best team in the Keystone state.
  11. Also at the Verizon Center, they have them. At those places, the bottomless souvenir cup is $9. Perhaps the Orioles should also have the one free refill that the Ravens and Terps do.
  12. I thought it was lot H, but it might be both. The club is supposed to make a comeback near Russell Street soon, with a sports bar to catch the O's and Ravens post game crowd. I always use the Park Under Garage for Ravens games on Lombard Street for $15 on game days. Its a 3/4 walk to the stadium, but make sure you write your location on the ticket you enter with.
  13. About Bouchet, he wanted season tickets for life as a settlement. Maybe he'd be better off playing the Maryland Lottery Ravens scratch offs instead.
  14. I wish the Redskin band would stop billing themselves as the only "Marching Band in the Hall of Fame", Baltimore's Marching Ravens were inducted around 1988 when they were still the Baltimore Colts marching band. I do like the Rock and Roll section. Since Baltimore and Washington are so close and have full marching units, I wouldn't mind seeing an annual "Battle of the NFL Bands".
  15. Just remember to get a bus or other transportation after the game, the water taxis there make our light rail look good with all the long waits.
  16. Something they have at Nats Park and FedEx Field, sodas with unlimited refills.
  17. I'll talk to our leader to see if we can get the DC/Northern Virginia group listed once we get new meeting location finalized, our old one Rock Bottom Brewery in Arlington is closed because the mall it was in is now has major renovations.. We'll be at the Front Page in Arlington on Wilson Blvd, this week.
  18. I jinx the team in regular season games on the road, from Cleveland in 2000 onward in I'm 0-5.
  19. I went to the first regular season home game at Memorial Stadium. About getting a ticket, let's say I was in the right place at the right time watching the last preseason one and hearing that they released some tickets for at Ticketmaster Phone Charger. Here is some more about it from Yahoo sports. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/oral-history-of-96-ravens-from-dodging-m-80s-in-cleveland-to-humble-start-in-baltimore-210858487.html
  20. Former WBAL TV 11 Sports Anchor and Baltimore Colts radio analyst Vince Bagli summed it up how most fans feel in Baltimore at the end of the documentary "The Band that Wouldn't Die" when said "Colts-we'll never forget them, but we love the Ravens just as much!:"
  21. If they can't put 500 leave escalators at M&T then at least install defibrillators on the walls of the upstairs, you don't want someone dying like in Carolina.
  22. Actually I heard on another board, owner Steve Bisciotti wants them too, but don't expect them until a replacement for the current stadium in 2028. It just too hard at the current location where they would have to renovate the side entrances. I also found out there weren't upper level escalators because Art Modell had trouble maintaining them at Cleveland Municipal Stadium which the plumbing was so bad they had porta potties on some parts of the concourse. About building a new stadium there might be some potential options: 1. Renovate the current location and play home games at Camden Yards while they're doing it or FedExField. 2. Build it in one of the other parking lots, then tear down the current location when finished. 3. If it happens get ready to buy new PSLs.
  23. I was just told to print out the two pieces of paper and bring them with a photo ID at North West Regional Park where you park and catch the motor coach to 1 Winning Drive. Everything went smoothly at the check in there. They even had WiFi on board the buses.. They did security at the complex when we arrived but I expected that. The Ravens organization treated the fans who went that day well, free bottled water and popsicles, even the restrooms had more that enough a/c. Lots of bleachers undercover. At the end they let the youth get autogrpahs from the team. Hope to get picked next year.
  24. Sometimes like the preseason you can get a good deal on resale tickets, I'm paying $7 for Saturday Nights game against the Lions way up in the endzone, after halftime sometimes you can move down so if they'res empty seats
  25. Some of the seats are owned by brokers. There was the story of one 49er fan who tried to sue so that the Seahawks would be forced to sell playoff tickets against the Niners outside Washington State. He lost big time.
